JESUS IS THE KING 6-28-2020

We are closing out the month by worshiping the King. We are in need of a true leader in the world today. One who will lay down his life for the people. Fix your eyes on the King.

Ps 74:12  God is my King from the very start; he works salvation in the womb of the earth. MSG

Isa 43:15  I am GOD, your Holy One, Creator of Israel, your King.”  MSG

John 18:33 Upon hearing this, Pilate went back inside his palace and summoned Jesus. Looking him over, Pilate asked him, “Are you really the king of the Jews?”

34 Jesus replied, “Are you asking because you really want to know,or are you only asking this because others have said it about me?”

35 Pilate responded, “Only a Jew would care about this; do I look like a Jew? It’s your own people and your religious leaders that have handed you over to me. So tell me, Jesus, what have you done wrong?”

36 Jesus looked at Pilate and said, “The royal power of my kingdom realm doesn’t come from this world. If it did, then my followers would be fighting to the end to defend me from the Jewish leaders. My kingdom realm authority is notfrom this realm.”

37 Then Pilate responded, “Oh, so then you are a king?” “You are right.” Jesus said, “I was born a King, and I have come into this world to prove what truth really is. And everyone who loves the truthwill receive my words.”

John 18:33 Pilate went back into the palace and called for Jesus. He said, “Are you the ‘King of the Jews’?”

34 Jesus answered, “Are you saying this on your own, or did others tell you this about me?”

35 Pilate said, “Do I look like a Jew? Your people and your high priests turned you over to me. What did you do?”

36 “My kingdom,” said Jesus, “doesn’t consist of what you see around you. If it did, my followers would fight so that I wouldn’t be handed over to the Jews. But I’m not that kind of king, not the world’s kind of king.”

37 Then Pilate said, “So, are you a king or not?” Jesus answered, “You tell me. Because I am King, I was born and entered the world so that I could witness to the truth. Everyone who cares for truth, who has any feeling for the truth, recognizes my voice.”  MSG

Acts 13:21 Then they asked for a king; and God gave them Saul son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.

22 And when He had deposed him, He raised up David to be their king; of him He bore witness and said, I have found David son of Jesse a man after My own heart, who will do all My will and carry out My program fully

FUTURE   Isa 33:17 Oh, you’ll see the king — a beautiful sight! And you’ll take in the wide vistas of land.

18 In your mind you’ll go over the old terrors: “What happened to that Assyrian inspector who condemned and confiscated? And the one who gouged us of taxes? And that cheating moneychanger?”

19 Gone! Out of sight forever! Their insolence nothing now but a fading stain on the carpet! No more putting up with a language you can’t understand, no more sounds of gibberish in your ears.

20 Just take a look at Zion, will you? Centering our worship in festival feasts! Feast your eyes on Jerusalem, a quiet and permanent place to live. No more pulling up stakes and moving on, no more patched-together lean-tos.

21 Instead, God! God majestic, God himself the place in a country of broad rivers and streams, But rivers blocked to invading ships, off-limits to predatory pirates.

22 For God makes all the decisions here. God is our king. God runs this place and he’ll keep us safe.

23 Ha! Your sails are in shreds, your mast wobbling, your hold leaking. The plunder is free for the taking, free for all —  for weak and strong, insiders and outsiders.

24 No one in Zion will say, “I’m sick.” Best of all, they’ll all live guilt-free. MSG

1 TIM 6:15-19 Yes, God will make his appearing in his own divine timing, for he is the exalted God, the only powerful One, the King over every king, and the Lord of power!

16 He alone is the immortal God, living in the unapproachable light of divine glory! No one has ever seen his fullness, nor can they, for all the glory and endless authority of the universe belongs to him, forever and ever. Amen!

17 To all the rich of this world, I command you not to be wrapped in thoughts of pride over your prosperity, or rely on your wealth, for your riches are unreliable and nothing compared to the living God. Trust instead in the one who has lavished upon us all good things, fulfilling our every need.

18 Remind the wealthy to be rich in good works of extravagant generosity, willing to share with others.

19 This will provide a beautiful foundation for their lives and secure for them a great future, as they lay their hands upon the meaning of true life. TPT

BEAR UP 6-26-2020

BEAR UP 6-26-2020

Suffering in the Bible does not mean tolerating pain or discomfort. It’s referring to worry, anxiety, pressure and trials. We are to bear up under these circumstances and hard times because victory has already been given to us.

Dan 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, it is not necessary for us to answer you on this point.

17 If our God Whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up!

19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury and his facial expression was changed [to antagonism] against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Therefore he commanded that the furnace should be heated seven times hotter than it was usually heated.

20 And he commanded the strongest men in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

21 Then these [three] men were bound in their cloaks, their tunics or undergarments, their turbans, and their other clothing, and they were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

22 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame and sparks from the fire killed those men who handled Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the burning fiery furnace.

24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king [saw and] was astounded, and he jumped up and said to his counselors, Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered, True, O king.

25 He answered, Behold, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt! And the form of the fourth is like a son of the gods!

26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come out and come here. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out from the midst of the fire.

27 And the satraps, the deputies, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered around together and saw these men — that the fire had no power  garments scorched or changed in color or condition, nor had even the smell of smoke clung to them.  AMP

Deut 4:20 But you — God took you right out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to become the people of his inheritance — and that’s what you are this very day. MSG

Rom 8:17 And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. AMP ▼▼▼

Rom 8:17 And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferings as our own. TPT

1 Cor 10:13 For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently. AMP

1 COR 10:13 We all experiencetimes of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you faceso that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escapethat will bring you out of it victoriously TPT

2 Cor 4:8 We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair;

9 We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed;

10 Always carrying about in the body the liability and exposure to the same putting to death that the Lord Jesus suffered, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown forth by and in our bodies.

11 For we who live are constantly [experiencing] being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be evidenced through our flesh which is liable to death.

12 Thus death is actively at work in us, but [it is in order that our] life [may be actively at work] in you.

13 Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote, I have believed, and therefore have I spoken. We too believe, and therefore we speak,  AMP

2 Cor 6:4 Our work as God’s servants gets validated — or not — in the details. People are watching us as we stay at our post, alertly, unswervingly . . . in hard times, tough times, bad times;

5 when we’re beaten up, jailed, and mobbed; working hard, working late, working without eating;

6 with pure heart, clear head, steady hand; in gentleness, holiness, and honest love;

7 when we’re telling the truth, and when God’s showing his power; when we’re doing our best setting things right;

8 when we’re praised, and when we’re blamed; slandered, and honored; true to our word, though distrusted;

9 ignored by the world, but recognized by God; terrifically alive, though rumored to be dead; beaten within an inch of our lives, but refusing to die;

10 immersed in tears, yet always filled with deep joy; living on handouts, yet enriching many; having nothing, having it all.

11 Dear, dear Corinthians, I can’t tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life.

12 We didn’t fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren’t small, but you’re living them in a small way.

13 I’m speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively!  MSG

1 John 5:4 Every God-begotten person conquers the world’s ways. The power that brings the world to its knees is our faith.

5 The person who wins out over the world’s ways is simply the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God. MSG

So who are the world conquerors, defeating its power? Those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. TPT

ISA 53:4-5 Yet he was the one who carried our sicknessesand endured the torment of our sufferings. We viewed him as one who was being punished for something he himself had done, as one who was struck down by God and brought low.

Rom 8:18 That’s why I don’t think there’s any comparison between the present hard times and the coming good times.

19 The created world itself can hardly wait for what’s coming next.

20 Everything in creation is being more or less held back. God reins it in

21 until both creation and all the creatures are ready and can be released at the same moment into the glorious times ahead. Meanwhile, the joyful anticipation deepens.

22 All around us we observe a pregnant creation. The difficult times of pain throughout the world are simply birth pangs. But it’s not only around us; it’s within us. The Spirit of God is arousing us within. We’re also feeling the birth pangs. MSG

2 TIM 1:12 The confidence of my calling enables me to overcome every difficulty without shame, for I have an intimate revelation of this God. And my faith in him convinces me that he is more than able to keep all that I’ve placed in his hands safe and secure until the fullness of his appearing.

13 Allow the healing words you’ve heard from me to live in you and make them a model for life as your faith and love for the Anointed One grows even more. 14 Guard well this incomparable treasure by the Spirit of Holiness living within you. TPT

2 Tim 2:3 When the going gets rough, take it on the chin with the rest of us, the way Jesus did.

4 A soldier on duty doesn’t get caught up in making deals at the marketplace. He concentrates on carrying out orders.

5 An athlete who refuses to play by the rules will never get anywhere.

6 It’s the diligent farmer who gets the produce.

7 Think it over. God will make it all plain.

8 Fix this picture firmly in your mind: Jesus, descended from the line of David, raised from the dead. It’s what you’ve heard from me all along.

9 It’s what I’m sitting in jail for right now — but God’s Word isn’t in jail!

10 That’s why I stick it out here — so that everyone God calls will get in on the salvation of Christ in all its glory.

11 This is a sure thing: If we die with him, we’ll live with him;

12 If we stick it out with him, we’ll rule with him; If we turn our backs on him, he’ll turn his back on us;

13 If we give up on him, he does not give up — for there’s no way he can be false to himself.  MSG

1 PET 2:19-24 You find God’s favor by deciding to please God even when you endure hardships because of unjust suffering.

20 For what merit is it to endure mistreatment for wrongdoing? Yet if you are mistreated when you do what is right, and you faithfully endure it, this is commendable before God.

21 In fact, you were called to live this way, because Christ also suffered in your place, leaving you his example for you to follow.

22 He never sinned and he never spoke deceitfully.

23 When he was verbally abused, he did not return with an insult; when he suffered, he would not threaten retaliation. Jesus faithfully entrusted himself into the hands of God, who judges righteously.

24 He himself carried our sinsin his body on the crossso that we would be dead to sinand live for righteousness. Our instant healing flowed from his wounding. TPT

Phil 2:15 That you may show yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish (faultless, unrebukable) in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation [spiritually perverted and perverse], among whom you are seen as bright lights (stars or beacons shining out clearly) in the [dark] world,

16 Holding out [to it] and offering [to all men] the Word of Life, so that in the day of Christ I may have something of which exultantly to rejoice and glory in that I did not run my race in vain or spend my labor to no purpose.  AMP

ISA 25:8 It is the gloom of death! He will swallow it up in victory forever! And God, Lord Yahweh, will wipe away  every tear from every face. He will remove every trace of disgrace  that his people have suffered throughout the world, for the Lord Yahweh has promised it! TPT

1 Cor 15:57 But now in a single victorious stroke of Life, all three — sin, guilt, death — are gone, the gift of our Master, Jesus Christ. Thank God!

RIGHTEOUSNESS 6-21-20

RIGHTEOUSNESS  6-21-20

Righteousness is our mantle. We have inherited righteousness which is God righteousness. Faith or trust in God is righteousness. Starting with Abraham. Even before Jesus finished his work. A mantle is a covering also an important job that passes from one generation to the next. If God judges us in righteousness then he favors those who are righteous. He sees himself in us. Righteousness  becomes us our position and state of being. Right- wiseness

Isa 64:6  For we have all become like one who is unclean [ceremonially, like a leper], and all our righteousness (our best deeds of rightness and justice) is like filthy rags or a polluted garment; we all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away [far from God’s favor, hurrying us toward destruction].

ROM 1:17 This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness —a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. Rom 1:17 Herein lies the secret power of the gospel; there is no good news in it until the righteousness of God is revealed! The dynamic of the gospel is revelation of God’s faith as the only valid basis for our belief. Rom 6:18. Sin once called the shot; now righteousness rules. I want to say as plainly as possible: you willingly offered your faculties to obey sin, you stained your body with unclean acts and allowed lawlessness to gain supremacy in all your conduct; and exactly the same way, I now encourage you to present your faculties and person to the supremacy of righteousness to find unrestricted expression in your lifestyle. OPEN YOUR EYES OPEN YOUR EARS 6-19-20

OPEN YOUR EYES OPEN YOUR EARS 6-19-2020

So much is going on around us. There’s a reality that is greater than what we are currently seeing. God has prepared good things for us. He gives us the blessings of both heaven and earth. We live in a day where we are looking and searching to hear God. But we don’t have to travel across the nation to hear him. He lives inside us. Let’s open our mouth and speak right from where we are the words that God gives us.

MATT 13:13 That’s why I teach the people using parables, because they think they’re looking for truth, yet because their hearts are unteachable, they never discover it. Although they will listen to me, they never fully perceive the message I speak.

14 The prophecy of Isaiah describes them perfectly: Although they listen carefully to everything I speak, they don’t understand a thing I say. They look and pretend to see, but the eyes of their hearts are closed.
15 Their minds are dull and slow to perceive, their ears are plugged and are hard of hearing, and they have deliberately shut their eyes to the truth. Otherwise they would open their eyes to see, and open their ears to hear, and open their minds to understand. Then they would turn to me and let me instantly heal them.[

16 “But your eyes are privileged, for they see. Delighted are your ears, for they are open to hear all these things.

17 Many prophets and godly people in times past yearned to see these days of miracles that you’ve been favored to see. They would have given everything to hear the revelation you’ve been favored to hear. Yet they didn’t get to see as much as a glimpse or hear even a whisper. TPT

Heb 5:11 Concerning this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull in your [spiritual] hearing and sluggish [even slothful in achieving spiritual insight].

12 For even though by this time you ought to be teaching others, you actually need someone to teach you over again the very first principles of God’s Word. You have come to need milk, not solid food.

13 For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]!

14 But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law.  AMP

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord God, when I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but [a famine] for hearing the words of the Lord.

12 And [the people] shall wander from sea to sea and from the north even to the east; they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord [inquiring for and requiring it as one requires food], but shall not find it.  AMP

ISA 30:20-21 Even though the Lord may allow you to go through a season of hardship and difficulty, he himself will be there with you. He will not hide himself from you, for your eyes will constantly see him as your Teacher.
21 When you turn to the right or turn to the left, you will hear his voice behind you to guide you, saying,“This is the right path; follow it.”TPT

2 Cor 4:17 For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!],

18 Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.  AMP

MT 6:20 Instead, stockpile heavenly treasuresfor yourselves that cannot be stolen and will never rust, decay, or lose their value.

21 For your heart will always pursue what you value as your treasure.

22 The eyes of your spirit allow revelation-lightto enter into your being. If your heart is unclouded, the light floods in!

23 But if your eyes are focused on money, the light cannot penetrate and darkness takes its place. How profound will be the darkness within youif the light of truth cannot enter!

24 “How could you worship two gods at the same time? You will have to hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t worship the true God while enslaved to the god of money!” TPT

Rom 10:17 So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).  AMP

HEALING MIRACLES 6-14-2020

HEALING MIRACLES 6-14-2020

Healing is always miraculous. As we are living through a time of shaking and transformation, we sense that the Holy Spirit is moving on the church to bring the unprecedented healings and miracles to the world. But the distraction due to hard  circumstances has brought us to a standstill. Past experence becomes our doctrine. We will now move past these things and will see healing and miracles take place as never before.  Healing is to flow through us. The law of contact and transmission. Laying on of hands. Contact with a sick person permeates the spirit to flow and heal that person. Healing occurs by the power of the name of Jesus. Jesus healed by speaking the word I believe this is some thing will be seeing much more of in the future when crowds of people gather for healing. Healing is transmitted usually by two steps. 1) the degree of healing virtue transmitted 2) the faith that gives action and power to the virtue administered.

Zech 4:7 For who are you, O great mountain [of human obstacles]? Before Zerubbabel [who with Joshua had led the return of the exiles from Babylon and was undertaking the rebuilding of the temple, before him] you shall become a plain [a mere molehill]! And he shall bring forth the finishing gable stone [of the new temple] with loud shoutings of the people, crying, Grace, grace to it!  AMP

▼▼▼

Zech 4:7 ‘So, big mountain, who do you think you are? Next to Zerubbabel you’re nothing but a molehill. He’ll proceed to set the Cornerstone in place, accompanied by cheers: Yes! Yes! Do it!'”  MSG

Zech 4:10 Who [with reason] despises the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice when they see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. [These seven] are the eyes of the Lord which run to and fro throughout the whole earth.  AMP

▼▼▼

Zech 4:10 Does anyone dare despise this day of small beginnings? They’ll change their tune when they see Zerubbabel setting the last stone in place!”

Going back to the vision, the Messenger-Angel said, “The seven lamps are the eyes of God probing the dark corners of the world like searchlights.”  MSG

Heb 12:27 Now this expression, Yet once more, indicates the final removal and transformation of all [that can be] shaken — that is, of that which has been created — in order that what cannot be shaken may remain and continue.

28 Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe;

29 For our God [is indeed] a consuming fire.  AMP

▼▼▼

Heb 12:27 The phrase “one last shaking” means a thorough housecleaning, getting rid of all the historical and religious junk so that the unshakable essentials stand clear and uncluttered.

28 Do you see what we’ve got? An unshakable kingdom! And do you see how thankful we must be? Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God. For God is not an indifferent bystander.

29 He’s actively cleaning house, torching all that needs to burn, and he won’t quit until it’s all cleansed. God himself is Fire!

 ▼▼▼

HEB 12:27-29 Now this phrase “once and for all” clearly indicates the final removal of things that are shaking, that is, the old order, so only what is unshakeable will remain.

28 Since we are receiving our rightsto an unshakeable kingdomwe should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heartas we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe.

29 For our God is a holy, devouring fire! TPT

First we sometimes think that we have to beg God to heal us. Nothing could be further from the truth. Healings are always miraculous. When the man with leprosy came to Jesus he knew had power to heal him but he didn’t know that he was willing. But he was willing we don’t have to ask if it’s God‘s will to heal somebody.

Matt 8:1 WHEN JESUS came down from the mountain, great throngs followed Him.

2 And behold, a leper came up to Him and, prostrating himself, worshiped Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You are able to cleanse me by curing me.

3 And He reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed by being cured. And instantly his leprosy was cured and cleansed.AMP

▼▼▼

Matt 8:1 Jesus came down the mountain with the cheers of the crowd still ringing in his ears.

2 Then a leper appeared and went to his knees before Jesus, praying, “Master, if you want to, you can heal my body.”

3 Jesus reached out and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be clean.” Then and there, all signs of the leprosy were gone. MSG

MATT 4:23-24 Jesus ministered from place to place throughout all of the province of Galilee. He taughtin the synagogues, preaching the hope of the kingdom realmand healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people.

24 His fame spread everywhere! Many people who were in pain and suffering with every kind of illness were brought to Jesus for their healing—epileptics, paralytics, and those tormented by demonic powers were all set free. Everyone who was brought to Jesus was healed! TPT

MARK 16:17-20 And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues.

18 They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.”

19 After saying these things, Jesus was lifted up into heaven and sat down at the place of honor at the right hand of God!

20 And the apostles went out announcing the good news everywhere, as the Lord himself consistently worked with them, validating the message they preached with miracle-signs that accompanied them!  TPT

Mark 16:17 “These are some of the signs that will accompany believers: They will throw out demons in my name, they will speak in new tongues,

18 they will take snakes in their hands, they will drink poison and not be hurt, they will lay hands on the sick and make them well.”

19 Then the Master Jesus, after briefing them, was taken up to heaven, and he sat down beside God in the place of honor.

Matt 8:5 As Jesus entered the village of Capernaum, a Roman captain came up in a panic and said,

6 “Master, my servant is sick. He can’t walk. He’s in terrible pain.”

7 Jesus said, “I’ll come and heal him.”

8 “Oh, no,” said the captain. “I don’t want to put you to all that trouble. Just give the order and my servant will be fine.

9 I’m a man who takes orders and gives orders. I tell one soldier, ‘Go,’ and he goes; to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; to my slave, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

10 Taken aback, Jesus said, “I’ve yet to come across this kind of simple trust in Israel, the very people who are supposed to know all about God and how he works.

11 This man is the vanguard of many outsiders who will soon be coming from all directions — streaming in from the east, pouring in from the west, sitting down at God’s kingdom banquet alongside Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

12 Then those who grew up ‘in the faith’ but had no faith will find themselves out in the cold, outsiders to grace and wondering what happened.”

13 Then Jesus turned to the captain and said, “Go. What you believed could happen has happened.” At that moment his servant became well.  MSG

MATT 8:5-13 When Jesus entered the village of Capernaum, a captainin the Roman army approached him, asking for a miracle.

6 “Lord,” he said, “I have a sonwho is lying in my home, paralyzed and suffering terribly.”

Jesus responded, “I will go with you and heal him.”

8–9 But the Roman officer interjected, “Lord, who am I to have you come into my house? I understand your authority, for I too am a man who walks under authority and have authority over soldiers who serve under me. I can tell one to go and he’ll go, and another to come and he’ll come. I order my servants and they’ll do whatever I ask. So I know that all you need to do is to stand here and command healing over my son and he will be instantly healed.”

10 Jesus was astonished when he heard this and said to those who were following him, “He has greater faith than anyone I’ve encountered in Israel! 11 Listen to what I am about to tell you. Multitudes of non-Jewish people will stream from the east and the west, to enter into the banqueting feast with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the heavenly kingdom.

12 But many Israelites, born to be heirs of the kingdom, will be turned away and banished into the darkness where there will be bitter weeping and unbearable anguish.”

13 Then Jesus turned to the Roman officer and said, “Go home. All that you have believed for will be done for you!” And his son was healed at that very moment. TPT

Heb 4:2 For indeed we have had the glad tidings [Gospel of God] proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites of old did when the good news of deliverance from bondage came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith (with the leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it; neither were they united in faith with the ones [Joshua and Caleb] who heard (did believe).  AMP

COMMUNION

FREEDOM 2 BY MARY DORIAN

Eph 4:11 And he has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists, and some with grace to be pastors, and some with grace to be teachers.

12 And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ.

13 These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness in the faith, until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God, and finally we become one perfect manwith the full dimensions of spiritual maturity and fully developed in the abundance of Christ.

14 And then our immaturity will end! And we will not be easily shaken by trouble, nor led astray by novel teachings or by the false doctrines of deceivers[f] who teach clever lies. TPT

REV 5:1 And I saw that the one seated on the throne was holding in his right hand an unopened scroll with writing on the inside and on the outside, and it was sealed with seven seals.

Then I saw an incredibly powerful angel proclaiming with a great, loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and breakits seven seals?”

But no person could be found, living or dead, in all of creation—no one was worthy to open the scroll and read its contents.

So I broke down weeping with intense sorrow, because there was found no one worthy to break open the scroll and read its contents.

Then one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping. Look! The mighty Lion of Judah’s tribe, the root of David—he has conquered! He is the worthy one who can open the scroll and its seven seals.”

Then I saw a young Lamb standing in the middle of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders. He appeared to have been slaughtered but was now alive! He had seven hornsand seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out to the ends of the earth.

I saw the young Lamb approach the throne and receive the scroll from the right hand of the one who sat there.

And when the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures saw the Lamb had taken the scroll, they fell facedown at the feet of the Lamb and worshiped him. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls brimming full of sweet fragrant incense—which are the prayers of God’s holy lovers.

And they were all singing this new song of praise to the Lamb: “Because you were slaughtered for us, you are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals. Your blood was the price paid to redeem us. You purchased us to bring us to God out of every tribe, language, people group, and nation.
10 You have chosen us to serve our God and formed us into a kingdom of priests
who reignon the earth.” Angelic Worship of the Lamb

11 Then I looked, and I heard the voices of myriads of angels in circles around the throne, as well as the voices of the living creatures and the elders—myriads and myriads!

12 And as I watched, all of them were singing with thunderous voices:

“Worthy is Christ the Lamb who was slaughtered to receive great power and might, wealth and wisdom, and honor, glory, and praise!”

13 Then every living being joined the angelic choir. Every creature in heaven and on earth, under the earth, in the sea, and everything in them, were worshiping with one voice, saying: “Praise, honor, glory, and dominion be to God-Enthroned
and to Christ the Lamb forever and ever!”
14 Then the four living creatures responded: “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders threw themselves facedown to the ground and worshiped. TPT

FREEDOM by Mary Dorian 6-12-2020

1 Cor 12:26 the parts we see and the parts we don’t. If one part hurts, every other part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing. If one part flourishes, every other part enters into the exuberance.

27 You are Christ’s body — that’s who you are! You must never forget this. Only as you accept your part of that body does your “part” mean anything.

28 You’re familiar with some of the parts that God has formed in his church, which is his “body”: apostles  prophets  teachers  miracle workers  healers  helpers organizers those who pray in tongues.

29 But it’s obvious by now, isn’t it, that Christ’s church is a complete Body and not a gigantic, unidimensional Part? It’s not all Apostle, not all Prophet, not all Miracle Worker,

30 not all Healer, not all Prayer in Tongues, not all Interpreter of Tongues.

31 And yet some of you keep competing for so-called “important” parts. But now I want to lay out a far better way for you.  MSG

▼▼▼

1 COR 12:26 In that way, whatever happens to one member happens to all. If one suffers, everyone suffers. If one is honored, everyone rejoices.

One Body with Different Gifts

27 You are the body of the Anointed One, and each of you is a unique and vital part of it.

28 God has placed in the church the following: First apostles, second prophets,

third teachers, then those with gifts of miracles, gifts of divine healing, gifts of revelation knowledge, gifts of leadership, and gifts of different kinds of tongues.

29 Not everyone is an apostle or a prophet or a teacher. Not everyone performs miracles

30 or has gifts of healing or speaks in tongues or interprets tongues.

31 But you should all constantly boil over with passion in seeking the higher gifts.

And now I will show you a superior way to live that is beyond comparison. TPT

Gen 1:28 God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth.”

29 Then God said, “I’ve given you every sort of seed-bearing plant on Earth And every kind of fruit-bearing tree, given them to you for food.

30 To all animals and all birds, everything that moves and breathes, I give whatever grows out of the ground for food.” And there it was.

31 God looked over everything he had made; it was so good, so very good! t was evening, it was morning —  Day Six.   MSG

And God said I give you every seat bearing plant growing through out the earth vegetables and every fruit bearing tree with a seed within itself they will be your food. Luke 19:38 Crying, Blessed (celebrated with praises) is the King Who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven [freedom there from all the distresses that are experienced as the result of sin] and glory (majesty and splendor) in the highest [heaven]!   AMP

Gal 2:4  While we were in conference we were infiltrated by spies pretending to be Christians, who slipped in to find out just how free true Christians are. Their ulterior motive was to reduce us to their brand of servitude.

5 We didn’t give them the time of day. We were determined to preserve the truth of the Message for you. MSG

 ▼▼▼

GAL 2:4-5 I met with them privately and confidentially because false “brothers” had been secretly smuggled into the church meetings. They were sent to spy on the wonderful liberty and freedom that we have in Jesus the Anointed One. Their agenda was to bring us back into the legalistic bondage of religion.

But you must know that we did not submit to their religious shackles[i] not even for a moment, so that we might keep the gospel of grace unadulterated for you. TPT

Gal 3:13  Christ redeemed us from that self-defeating, cursed life by absorbing it completely into himself. Do you remember the Scripture that says, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”? That is what happened when Jesus was nailed to the Cross: He became a curse, and at the same time dissolved the curse.

14 And now, because of that, the air is cleared and we can see that Abraham’s blessing is present and available for non-Jews, too. We are all able to receive God’s life, his Spirit, in and with us by believing — just the way Abraham received it. MSG

 ▼▼▼

GAL 3:13-14 Yet, Christ paid the full price to set us free from the curse of the law. He absorbed it completely as he became a curse in our place. For it is written:

“Everyone who is hung upon a tree is doubly cursed.”

14 Jesus, our Messiah, was cursed in our place and in so doing, dissolved the curse from our lives, so that all the blessings of Abraham can be poured out upon even non-Jewish believers. And now God gives us the promise of the wonderful Holy Spirit who lives within us when we believe in him.  TPT

Gal 5:8 This [evil] persuasion is not from Him Who called you [Who invited you to freedom in Christ].

9 A little leaven (a slight inclination to error, or a few false teachers) leavens the whole lump [it perverts the whole conception of faith or misleads the whole church].

10 [For my part] I have confidence [toward you] in the Lord that you will take no contrary view of the matter but will come to think with me. But he who is unsettling you, whoever he is, will have to bear the penalty.  AMP

▼▼▼

GAL 5:8-10 The One who enfolded you into his grace is not behind this false teaching that you’ve embraced. Not at all!

Don’t you know that when you allow even a little lie into your heart, it can permeate your entire belief system?

10 Deep in my heart I have faith that the Lord Jesus the Anointed One, who lives in you, will bring you back around to the truth. And I’m convinced that those who agitate you, whoever they think they are, will be brought under God’s judgment TPT

Gal 5:13 It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows.

14 For everything we know about God’s Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love others as you love yourself. That’s an act of true freedom.

15 If you bite and ravage each other, watch out — in no time at all you will be annihilating each other, and where will your precious freedom be then? MSG

THE ANOINTING WILL BREAK EVERY YOKE 6-7-20

THE ANOINTING WILL BREAK THE YOKE  6-7-2020

Anointing is a covering. Yoke although it’s a device made for oxen across their necks for plowing, in Jesus time yoke was used to describe submission a designation of servitude. To carry the burden of a task or mission. Anointing means to rub with oil to make someone or something sacred.  To be chosen. Shephards used to pour oil on their sheep  to keep away insects off their heads and away from their eyes and ears. The oil made the insects slip off. Anointing symbolic a blessing protection and empowerment. God is protective over his anointed ones, his set apart ones. The word Christ means anointed one or anointing. The anointing is always with us upon us and in us. Yoked in Christ means free from bondage. Anointing is our clothing.

JESUS  Isa 61:1 THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

3 To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion — to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit — that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

4 And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former desolations and renew the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.

3 To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion, give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes, Messages of joy instead of news of doom, a praising heart instead of a languid spirit. Rename them “Oaks of Righteousness” planted by God to display his glory.

4 They’ll rebuild the old ruins, raise a new city out of the wreckage. They’ll start over on the ruined cities, take the rubble left behind and make it new.  MSG

DEFEATED 6-5-2020

As long as we trust in Christ we have no reason to tremble. As we go forward we must rest assured that the enemy has been defeated. We must know that we have power in Jesus name. Defeat means to win victory over, to beat, to overcome.

Heb 12:18  Unlike your ancestors, you didn’t come to Mount Sinai — all that volcanic blaze and earthshaking rumble —

19 to hear God speak. The earsplitting words and soul-shaking message terrified them and they begged him to stop.

20 When they heard the words — “If an animal touches the Mountain, it’s as good as dead” — they were afraid to move.

21 Even Moses was terrified.

In his Son, Jesus, he personally took on the human condition, entered the disordered mess of struggling humanity in order to set it right once and for all. The law code, weakened as it always was by fractured human nature, could never have done that.  The law always ended up being used as a Band-Aid on sin instead of a deep healing of it.

11 They conquered him completely through the blood of the Lamb and the powerful word of his testimony. They triumphed because they did not love and cling to their own lives, even when faced with death.
12 So rejoice, you heavens, and every heavenly being. But woe to the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you with great fury, because he knows his time is short.”  TPT
