WE WERE DESIGNED BY THE LORD FOR THESE COMING DAYS 5-15-24

VIDEO  YOU ARE IN GOD’S IMAGE 2

Nothing or no weapon has been formed against us that will ever be able to overcome us. We are supposed to be the righteous influence of the earth today. There are two kinds of righteousness. One is earned the other is a gift. The gift of righteousness makes the difference in the world. How God operates in righteousness is the way He expects His people to move in righteousness the whole world.

Matt 5:20 Unless you do far better than the Pharisees in the matters of right living, you won’t know the first thing about entering the kingdom. MSG

MATT 5:20 For I tell you, unless your lives are more pure and full of integrity than the religious scholars and the Pharisees, you will never enter heaven’s kingdom.”  TPT

Job 35:8 The only ones who care whether you’re good or bad are your family and friends and neighbors. God’s not dependent on your behavior. MSG

1 Cor 1:30 Everything that we have — right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start — comes from God by way of Jesus Christ.

31 That’s why we have the saying, “If you’re going to blow a horn, blow a trumpet for God.”  MSG

1 COR 1:30-31 For it is not from man that we draw our life but from God as we are being joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. And now he is our God-given wisdom, our virtue, our holiness, and our redemption. And this fulfills what is written: If anyone boasts, let him only boast in all that the Lord has done! TPT

PRO 21:21 The lovers of God who chase after righteousness will find all their dreams come true: an abundant life drenched with favor and a fountain that overflows with satisfaction. TPT

1 JN 2:29 To perceive God’s righteousness as defining his 1“I-am-ness”, concludes that everyone born of him inherently partakes of the same pattern and poetry that his righteousness inspires. Righteousness is our true genesis.  MIRROR

1 JN 2:29  If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who lives in righteousness has been divinely fathered by him. TPT

Eph 2:10 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].  AMP

EPH 2:10 We are engineered by his design; he molded and manufactured us in Christ. We are his workmanship, his poetry. We are fully fit to do good, equipped to give attractive evidence of his likeness in us in everything we do.  MIRROR

Prov 21:3 To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.   AMP

2 Tim 3:16 Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action),

17 So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.  AMP

2 TIM 3:16 Jesus Christ and his work of salvation is the theme of Scripture. The value of scripture in its most complete context is always found in God’s prophetic voice inspiring a thorough education in the revelation of righteousness! This is what carries the breath of God and gives substance and proof to accurately gauge what is being taught.

17 Being thoroughly schooled in the word of righteousness will equip you to be fully refreshed in sparkling newness of life, giving you a fresh start to tackle every relevant and good task with renewed inspiration.  MIRROR

ROM 6:18 Sin once called the shots; now righteousness rules.

19 I want to say it as plainly as possible: you willingly offered your faculties to obey sin, you stained your body with unclean acts and allowed lawlessness to gain supremacy in all of your conduct; in exactly the same way, I now encourage you to present your faculties and person to the supremacy of righteousness to find unrestricted expression in your lifestyle.  MIRROR

1 COR 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and the distortion of sin will have no further effect on you. God is not confused. What a shame that anyone should exchange what God knows to be true about us to someone else’s inferior opinion.   MIRROR

Job 29:14 I put on righteousness, and it clothed me or clothed itself with me; my justice was like a robe and a turban or a diadem or a crown!  AMP

Ps 4:1 ANSWER ME when I call, O God of my righteousness (uprightness, justice, and right standing with You)! You have freed me when I was hemmed in and enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me and hear my prayer.  AMP

Ps 17:15 As for me, I will continue beholding Your face in righteousness (rightness, justice, and right standing with You); I shall be fully satisfied, when I awake [to find myself] beholding Your form [and having sweet communion with You].  AMP

PS 23:3 ‘That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me the right path and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name.’  TPT

Ps 96:13  Before the Lord, for He comes, for He comes to judge and govern the earth! He shall judge the world with righteousness and justice and the peoples with His faithfulness and truth.  AMP

PS 103:6 You’re a God who makes things right, giving justice to the defenseless.

7 You unveiled to Moses your plans and showed Israel’s sons what you could do.

8 Lord, you’re so kind and tenderhearted  and so patient with people who fail you! Your love is like a flooding river overflowing its banks with kindness.

9 You don’t look at us only to find our faults,  just so that you can hold a grudge against us.

10 You may discipline us for our many sins, but never as much as we really deserve. Nor do you get even with us for what we’ve done.

11 Higher than the highest heavens— that’s how high your tender mercy extends!

Greater than the grandeur of heaven above is the greatness of your loyal love, towering over all who fear you and bow down before you!

12 Farther than from a sunrise to a sunset— that’s how far you’ve removed our guilt from us.

13 The same way a loving father feels toward his children— that’s but a sample of your tender feelings toward us,  your beloved children, who live in awe of you.  TPT

Isa 45:8  Let fall in showers, you heavens, from above, and let the skies rain down righteousness [the pure, spiritual, heaven-born possibilities that have their foundation in the holy being of God]; let the earth open, and let them [skies and earth] sprout forth salvation, and let righteousness germinate and spring up [as plants do] together; I the Lord have created it. JN 16: 8 In this capacity of close companionship with you, Holy Spirit comes to convince the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgment:

9 Holy Spirit in you will persuade them concerning their sin, which boils down to a bankrupt, distorted identity due to their indifference to me.

10 In this union with you, the great Companion will also convince the world of righteousness because in my disappearing out of sight, to be face to face with the Father, the Spirit of truth will interpret the conclusion of my mission which is mankind’s association in me and their redeemed innocence! The intimate union with my Father that I displayed while present with you in my physical body will now be made visible in you! MIRROR

ROM 1:17 Herein lies the secret of the power of the Gospel; there is no good news in it until the righteousness of God is revealed! The dynamic of the gospel is the revelation of God’s faith as the only valid basis for our belief. The Prophets wrote in advance about the fact that God believes that righteousness reveals the life of our design. “Righteousness by his (God’s) faith defines life.”

18 God is not standing neutral to mankind’s indifference. This revelation of God’s belief in our redeemed righteousness is at the same time an unveiling of God’s passionate desire, from a heavenly perspective, towards a humanity who seemed to have lost touch with the romance of their devotion by suppressing the truth about themselves; they have forgotten the delicate art to adore and be adored; while they continue to hold on to an inferior reference of themselves by being out of sync with their true likeness!  MIRROR

ROM 3:22 Jesus is what God believes about you! In him the righteousness of God is on display in such a way that everyone may be equally persuaded about what God believes about them, regardless of who they are; there is no distinction.  MIRROR

ROM 4:3 Scripture is clear, “Abraham believed what God believed about him and that concluded his righteousness.”

4 There is a large difference between a reward and a gift: if you have earned something through hard work, what you receive in return is your due and certainly not a gift.

5 It is clear then that someone who believes that God declares the ungodly innocent understands that it is faith and not our toil that accounts for righteousness.  MIRROR

ROM 8:10 Now Christ lives his life in you! And even though your body may be dead because of the effects of sin, his life-giving Spirit imparts life to you because you are fully accepted by God.  TPT

▼▼▼

ROM 8:10 The revelation of Christ in you declares that your body is as good as dead to sin’s demands; sin cannot find any expression in a corpse. You co-died together with him. Yet your spirit is alive because of what righteousness reveals.  MIRROR

2 COR 5:21 For God made the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God through our union with him. TPT

2 TIM 4:8 My wreath of righteousness awaits me as testimony to the Lord’s righteous judgment. He will crown me in that day, the moment I step out of this body. I will not be the only one receiving a wreath of honor; everyone, loving the brilliance of his appearing will be jointly crowned!  MIRROR

HEB 4:12 The message God spoke to us in Christ, is the most life giving and dynamic influence in us, cutting like a surgeon’s scalpel, sharper than a soldier’s sword, piercing to the deepest core of human conscience, to the dividing of soul and spirit; ending the dominance of the sense realm and its neutralizing effect upon the human spirit. In this way a person’s spirit is freed to become the ruling influence again in the thoughts and intentions of their heart. WAITING ON THE LORD  5-10-24 VIDEO WAITING ON GOD BILL JOHNSON 2

This means to trust in Him. That He is working for us even when His timetable is longer than ours. To wait means to be aware of God, who is all around us and discerning the right time to do the next thing. Waiting means to stay or rest with expectation. It is really hard sometimes to wait on the Lord. Instead of trying to make your own plan, know that  His plan and timing are always much better than ours. Even the Earth is waiting for the sons of God to show themselves. And sometimes God waits for us.

PS 27:14 Here’s the one thing I crave from YAHWEH, the one thing I seek above all else: I want to live with him every moment in his house, beholding the marvelous beauty of YAHWEH, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. TPT

ISA 40:29 He empowers the feeble and infuses the powerless with increasing strength.

30 Even young people faint and get exhausted; athletic ones may stumble and fall.

31 But those who entwine their hearts with Yahweh  will experience divine strength.

They will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles, run their races without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up.  TPT

▼▼▼

Isa 40:29 He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts.

30 For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall.

31 But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind. MSG

PS 37:7 Quiet your heart in his presence and wait patiently for YAHWEH. And don’t think for a moment that the wicked, in their prosperity, are better off than you.  TPT

Ps 38:15 What I do, God, is wait for you, wait for my Lord, my God — you will answer!  MSG

Isa 64:4 Since before time began no one has ever imagined, No ear heard, no eye seen, a God like you who works for those who wait for him. MSG

 ▼▼▼

ISA 64:4 These amazing things had never been heard of before; you did things never dreamed of! No one perceived your greatness. No eye has ever seen a God like you, who intervenes for those who wait and long for you! TPT

Rom 8:24 That is why waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don’t see what is enlarging us.

25 But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.

26 Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans.

27 He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God.

28 That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. MSG ▼▼▼

ROM 8:24 For this is the hope of our salvation. But hope means that we must trust and wait for what is still unseen. For why would we need to hope for something we already have?

25 So because our hope is set on what is yet to be seen, we patiently keep on waiting for its fulfillment. TPT

Jer 29:11 I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out — plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.

12 “When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen.

13 “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, MSG

Lam 3:25 God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks.

26 It’s a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God.

27 It’s a good thing when you’re young to stick it out through the hard times.

28 When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. Enter the silence.

29 Bow in prayer. Don’t ask questions: Wait for hope to appear.

30 Don’t run from trouble. Take it full-face. The “worst” is never the worst.

31 Why? Because the Master won’t ever walk out and fail to return.

32 If he works severely, he also works tenderly. His stockpiles of loyal love are immense.

33 He takes no pleasure in making life hard, in throwing roadblocks in the way:

34 Stomping down hard on luckless prisoners,

35 Refusing justice to victims in the court of High God,

36 Tampering with evidence —  the Master does not approve of such things.

God Speaks Both Good Things and Hard Things into Being

37 Who do you think “spoke and it happened”? It’s the Master who gives such orders.

38 Doesn’t the High God speak everything, good things and hard things alike, into being? MSG

PS 130:5 I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.

6 I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.

7 Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. TPT

PS 33:20 The Lord alone is our radiant hope and we trust in him with all our hearts. His wraparound presence will strengthen us.

21 As we trust, we rejoice with an uncontained joy flowing from Yahweh!

22 Let your love and steadfast kindness overshadow us continually, for we trust and we wait upon you!  TPT

Ps 130:5 I pray to God — my life a prayer —  and wait for what he’ll say and do.

6 My life’s on the line before God, my Lord, waiting and watching till morning, waiting and watching till morning.

7 O Israel, wait and watch for God —  with God’s arrival comes love, with God’s arrival comes generous redemption. MSG

JAMES 5:7 Meanwhile, brothers and sisters, we must be patient and filled with expectation as we wait for the appearing of the Lord. Think about the farmer who has to patiently wait for the earth’s harvest as it ripens because of the early and latter rains.

8 So you also, keep your hopes high and be patient, for the presence of the Lord is drawing closer.  TPT

2 Peter 3:9 God isn’t late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn’t want anyone lost. He’s giving everyone space and time to change. MSG

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance. AMP

Isa 30:18 But God’s not finished. He’s waiting around to be gracious to you. He’s gathering strength to show mercy to you. God takes the time to do everything right — everything. Those who wait around for him are the lucky ones.

19 Oh yes, people of Zion, citizens of Jerusalem, your time of tears is over. Cry for help and you’ll find it’s grace and more grace. The moment he hears, he’ll answer. MSG

Rom 5:6 Christ arrives right on time to make this happen. He didn’t, and doesn’t, wait for us to get ready. He presented himself for this sacrificial death when we were far too weak and rebellious to do anything to get ourselves ready. And even if we hadn’t been so weak, we wouldn’t have known what to do anyway.

7 We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice.

8 But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him. MSG

1 John 2:28 And now, children, stay with Christ. Live deeply in Christ. Then we’ll be ready for him when he appears, ready to receive him with open arms, with no cause for red-faced guilt or lame excuses when he arrives. MSG

Jer 1:12 Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.   AMP

ROM 8:19 Our lives now represent the one event every creature anticipates with held breath, standing on tip-toe as it were to witness the unveiling of the sons of God. Can you hear the drum-roll?

Is it possible to live at your life fully believing and trusting in God? Yes it is! To believe is to be convinced of something whether you see it or do not see it YET. Real believing stems from our belief in God and knowing He is working for our good, and strengthen our believing so we can witness heavenly things.

Heb 11:6 It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him.  MSG

2 COR 6:16 How can the tangible, physical address of the living God compare with a phantom image that people host in their minds? Mankind is God’s idea – we did not invent God or ourselves; he invented us! He said, “In you will I reside and move and have my being; we belong together; I am yours and you are mine!” MIRROR

2 COR 4:13-18 We echo the exact same spirit of faith David had when he wrote: “I believe and so I speak!” We too believe and so we speak! Our persuasion is our conversation.

14 This resurrection life we enjoy in Jesus fully includes you.

15 Whatever we go through in the gospel is to advantage you! We live for you! As grace abounds in more and more people so does the volume of gratitude in the accomplished mission of Jesus break through the sound barrier to exhibit the heart dream of God.

16 We have much reason to be brave! There might be a lot of wear and tear on the outside; but don’t be distracted by that! On the inside we are celebrating daily revival!

18 We are not keeping any score of what seems so obvious to the senses on the surface; it is fleeting and irrelevant; it is the unseen eternal realm within us which has our full attention and captivates our gaze!   MIRROR

HEB 11:8 By faith Abraham acknowledged the call of God which gave him his identity and destiny, as evidence of his inheritance as he journeyed into the unknown.

9 Nothing but his faith seemed permanent while Abraham camped in tents like a stranger in the land of promise. His sons Isaac and Jacob joined him as sojourners; equally persuaded that they were heirs of the same promise.

10 His faith saw a city with permanent foundations, designed and constructed by God.  MIRROR

HEB 11:5 Faith translated Enoch from this life and he was taken up into heaven! He never had to experience death; he just disappeared from this world because God promoted him. For before he was translated to the heavenly realm his life had become a pleasure to God. TPT

Jude 14:17 But remember, dear friends, that the apostles of our Master, Jesus Christ, told us this would happen:

18 “In the last days there will be people who don’t take these things seriously anymore. They’ll treat them like a joke, and make a religion of their own whims and lusts.”

19 These are the ones who split churches, thinking only of themselves. There’s nothing to them, no sign of the Spirit!

20 But you, dear friends, carefully build yourselves up in this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit,

21 staying right at the center of God’s love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life!  MSG

MATT 9:27-29 As Jesus left the house, two blind men began following him, shouting out over and over, “Son of David, show us mercy and heal us!”

28 And they followed him right into the house where Jesus was staying. So Jesus asked them, “Do you believe that I have the power to restore sight to your eyes?” They replied, “Yes Lord, we believe!”

29 Then Jesus put his hands over their eyes and said, “You will have what your faith expects!” TPT

Matt 9:21 She was thinking to herself, “If I can just put a finger on his robe, I’ll get well.” Jesus turned — caught her at it. Then he reassured her: “Courage, daughter. You took a risk of faith, and now you’re well.”

LUKE 8:49 Jesus was still speaking [to the woman he healed from a 12 year long condition] when someone arrived to tell the ruler of the synagogue that his daughter had died and that there would be no further need to trouble the Teacher.

8 Jesus, overhearing the conversation said to the Ruler, “You have no need to be disturbed by this news! Remain in this place of seamless persuasion and she shall be completely restored.”

Matt 9:22 The woman was well from then on.

23 By now they had arrived at the house of the town official, and pushed their way through the gossips looking for a story and the neighbors bringing in casseroles.

24 Jesus was abrupt: “Clear out! This girl isn’t dead. She’s sleeping.” They told him he didn’t know what he was talking about.

25 But when Jesus had gotten rid of the crowd, he went in, took the girl’s hand, and pulled her to her feet — alive.

26 The news was soon out, and traveled throughout the region.   MSG

JOHN 3:18 Faith and not flesh defines you! In the persuasion of your authentic sonship there is no separation or rejection! JOHN 6:28 They immediately wanted the recipe! Tell us then what we must do in order to accomplish God’s work?

John 12:44 Jesus summed it all up when he cried out, “Whoever believes in me, believes not just in me but in the One who sent me.

45 Whoever looks at me is looking, in fact, at the One who sent me.

JOHN 14:11-12 The fact that the Father seems distant or invisible to you does not mean that he is absent. In me he is very present with you! You cannot claim to know me while you ignore him – we are inseparable. I dare you] to believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me – if it seems far fetched, then believe me because of what I have done and what I am about to do. It is the Father in me who defines me. My works exhibit his resolve.

12 I want you to be fully convinced about this, anyone whose belief concludes in who I am, will also do the works that I do. And because of my relocation to continue to be face to face with my Father, my works will be greatly multiplied through you; the Father is as present in you as he is in me.  MIRROR

Eph 1:19 oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him — endless energy, boundless strength!

20 All this energy issues from Christ: God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven,

21 in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever.

22 He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the church.

23 The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ’s body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence. MSG
