HOW DO YOU SEE YOURSELF

HOW DO YOU SEE YOURSELF?  8-28-22

As we consider the days that we are in, there is something so magnificent being offered to us. It is greater than anything the world could ever offer. We must see ourselves “in Christ “. See ourselves as we truly are.

JOHN 6:63 It is the Spirit that quickens the poetry of life – the flesh (muscle and willpower) is useless without the spirit. The words that I speak unto you they are spirit and life! I communicate from a different dimension and perspective giving voice and substance to every prophetic shadow and purpose.

64 I notice that there are those among you who are not persuaded about me. It was clear from the start that even amongst Jesus’ close followers there were signs of unbelief and treason.

65  I was addressing your hesitance to believe in me when I said to you that no one is forcing you to see yourself mirrored in me – you do not need to go into make-believe-mode or fake your faith – it is the Father’s gift to you!

66 Because of this conversation many of his followers went back to their old ways and would no longer be associated with Jesus.

67 So Jesus said to the twelve, “Don’t feel obliged to stay – you are also free to go if you wish!”

68 Simon Peter said, Lord, who is there to go back to – which mirror should we gaze into? Your words resonate the life of the ages!  MIRROR

Rom 6:11 From now on, think of it this way: Sin speaks a dead language that means nothing to you; God speaks your mother tongue, and you hang on every word. You are dead to sin and alive to God. That’s what Jesus did. MSG

Rom 8:2 A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.  MSG

Rom 8:1 No condemnation now hangs over the head of those who are “in” Jesus Christ. For the new spiritual principle of life “in” Christ lifts me out of the old vicious circle of sin and death. PHILLIPS

Rom 8:39 high or low, thinkable or unthinkable — absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us. MSG

1 Cor 1:4 Every time I think of you — and I think of you often! — I thank God for your lives of free and open access to God, given by Jesus.

5 There’s no end to what has happened in you — it’s beyond speech, beyond knowledge.

6 The evidence of Christ has been clearly verified in your lives.  MSG

1 COR 4:1  I am always so happy for you when I consider how greatly advantaged you are because of God’s grace unveiled in Jesus Christ.

5 Your knowledge of Christ is based on so much more than hearsay; every aspect of your life gives eloquent expression to the rich reservoir of your union in him.

6 You certainly have the testimony of Christ evidenced in you.  MIRROR

1 Cor 1:30 Everything that we have — right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start — comes from God by way of Jesus Christ.

1 COR 1:30  Of God’s doing are we in Christ. He is both the genesis and genius of our wisdom; a wisdom that reveals how righteous, sanctified and redeemed we already are in him.

31 He is our claim to fame.   MIRROR

1 Cor 15:19 If all we get out of Christ is a little inspiration for a few short years, we’re a pretty sorry lot.

20 But the truth is that Christ has been raised up, the first in a long legacy of those who are going to leave the cemeteries.

21 There is a nice symmetry in this: Death initially came by a man, and resurrection from death came by a man.

22 Everybody dies in Adam; everybody comes alive in Christ. MSG

 ▼▼▼

1 COR 15:19 If our hope in Christ was restricted to only benefit us in this life then imagine the severity of our disappointment if it all had to come to an abrupt end when we died.

20 However this very moment the risen Christ represents everyone who has ever died; exactly like the first fruit represents the complete harvest.

21 The same mankind who died in a man was raised again in a man.

22 In Adam all died; in Christ all are made alive.  MIRROR

2 COR 2:14 I am overwhelmed with gratitude! Wherever my travels take me I am so aware that God leads us as trophies in his victory parade. What he knows to be true about us diffuses through us like a perfume of sweet aroma everywhere we go, celebrating the success of the cross. MIRROR

2 Cor 12:2 For instance, I know a man who, fourteen years ago, was seized by Christ and swept in ecstasy to the heights of heaven. I really don’t know if this took place in the body or out of it; only God knows.

3-4 I also know that this man was hijacked into paradise — again, whether in or out of the body, I don’t know; God knows. There he heard the unspeakable spoken, but was forbidden to tell what he heard.

5 This is the man I want to talk about. But about myself, I’m not saying another word apart from the humiliations. MSG

GAL 3:26  What Jesus Christ believes to be true about you is the final confirmation of mankind’s redeemed sonship. His faith is the only valid reference to your belief!

27 To be immersed in Christ is to be fully clothed with him! He is your brand new wardrobe confirming your sonship!

28 Nothing resembles your previous identity as Jew or Gentile, bond or free, male or female, Billabong or Gucci, now you are all defined in oneness with Christ! He is your significance and makes you beautiful!   MIRROR

Ephesians 1:3 Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate him with all our hearts!

Ephesians 2:10 We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!  TPT

COL 2:10 We are complete in him! Jesus mirrors our wholeness and endorses our true identity. He is “I am” in us!

11 You were in Christ when he died; which means that his death is your true circumcision. This is not hypothetical; this is the real deal. Thus, sin’s authority in the human body was stripped of its control over you.

12 In the same parallel [your co-circumcision in his death], your co-burial and joint-resurrection is now demonstrated in baptism; your co-inclusion in Christ is what God’s faith knew when he powerfully raised him from the dead.

13 You were once spiritually dead, as confirmed in your constant failure, being bound to a lifestyle ruled by the distorted desires of the flesh; but now God made you alive together with him and thus graciously restored our innocence and dignity, having forgiven us all our short falling.  MIRROR

1 Thess 1:10 And [how you] look forward to and await the coming of His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead — Jesus, Who personally rescues and delivers us out of and from the wrath [bringing punishment] which is coming [upon the impenitent] and draws us to Himself [investing us with all the privileges and rewards of the new life in Christ, the Messiah].  AMP

VIDEO REAL BLOOD OF JESUS

1 Corinthians 11:23 I have handed down to you what came to me by direct revelation from the Lord himself. The same night in which he was handed over, he took bread 24and gave thanks. Then he distributed it to the disciples and said, “Take it and eat your fill. It is my body, which is given for you. Do this to remember me.”

25He did the same with the cup of wine after supper and said, “This cup seals the new covenant with my blood. Drink it—and whenever you drink this, do it to remember me.” TPT

John 6:53 And Jesus said to them, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, you cannot have any life in you unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood [unless you appropriate His life and the saving merit of His blood].

54 He who feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood has (possesses now) eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day.

55 For My flesh is true and genuine food, and My blood is true and genuine drink.

56 He who feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood dwells continually in Me, and I [in like manner dwell continually] in him.  AMP

▼▼▼

JN 6:53  Amen amen, I say unto you that you have (echo) no real life in yourselves until you consume the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood.

54  Your every meal is a celebration of the incarnation; to eat my flesh and drink my blood is to digest me like your body is designed to digest food and it becomes flesh; this echoes the life of the ages and communicates the fact that you are co-risen with me in the final conclusion of my work of redemption.

55 My flesh is food in its truest form and my blood is drink in its truest form.

56 The eating of my flesh and drinking of my blood is the celebration of our seamless union – you in me and I in you – because you won’t find you until you find me!

6:57 As the living Father has sent me and also sustains me so will I sustain the one eating me. I live through my Father – just like my daily food sustains me, so his life permanently resides in me – now you may also continually and habitually feast on me and live through me!

58 This is the bread that stepped down out of the heavenly sphere – there is no comparison with the manna your fathers received from heaven.  MIRROR

This is why communion is so important. Paul thought about communion directly by Jesus himself. Communion allows us to become absolutely one with Jesus and to live in the power of his resurrection and his glorified body and life giving blood. We see who Christ is to communion and why we are in him.

1 Cor 11:26 What you must solemnly realize is that every time you eat this bread and every time you drink this cup, you reenact in your words and actions the death of the Master. You will be drawn back to this meal again and again until the Master returns. You must never let familiarity breed contempt.  MSG

GOD’S GOODNESS PREPARE FOR A NEW SEASON 8-19-22  VIDEO GODS LOVE

As we prepare for a new beginning for new season, we anticipate in the midst of worldly problems that our Father will crown this new season and new year coming with His goodness. Harvest time blessings. God will show and shower us with His goodness. With all that God could show Moses He chose to show him His goodness. God‘s goodness is demonstrated by His actions. God wants us to know Him and to know His goodness. His goodness is His kindness. Loving-kindness-steadfast love; grace; mercy; faithfulness; goodness; devotion.” This word is used 240 times in the Old Testament. In general, Goodness three basic meanings, which always interact: “strength,” “steadfastness,” and “love.”  It is also of generosity. It is not only a matter of loyalty, but also of mercy. The weaker party seeks the protection and blessing and protector, the stronger party remains committed to His promise.

Ps 73:1 No doubt about it! God is good — good to good people, good to the good-hearted.

2 But I nearly missed it, missed seeing his goodness.

TITUS 3:4 But then, oh happy day! It was the generosity of God and his fondness for mankind that dawned on us like a shaft of light. Our days of darkness were over! Light shone everywhere and we became aware: God rescued the human race!

5 Salvation is not a reward for good behavior. It has absolutely nothing to do with anything that we have done. God’s mercy saved us. The Holy Spirit endorses in us what happened to us when Jesus Christ died and was raised! When we heard the glad announcement of salvation it was like taking a deep warm bath! Our minds were thoroughly cleansed and re-booted into newness of life!

FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT 8-14-22

FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH 8-14-22 VIDEO

Many said fight the good fight FOR faith. But Paul says fight the good fight OF faith. The full measure of faith has been given to us through Christ. Circumstances rise to challenge this faith, but faith always wins. You’re in a fight but you’ve already won. Jesus can never lose the battle. It’s our trust in Jesus when circumstances tell us otherwise.  Jesus during the time here on earth looked and responded to those who live in faith no matter what their circumstances. His faith brought immediate results. Miracles, no waiting but in his hometown they were indifferent. We are encouraged to hold fast to our faith because it is alive and full of power.

1 Tim 6:11 But you, Timothy, man of God: Run for your life from all this. Pursue a righteous life — a life of wonder, faith, love, steadiness, courtesy.

12 Run hard and fast in the faith. Seize the eternal life, the life you were called to, the life you so fervently embraced in the presence of so many witnesses.

13 I’m charging you before the life-giving God and before Christ, who took his stand before Pontius Pilate and didn’t give an inch:

14 Keep this command to the letter, and don’t slack off. Our Master, Jesus Christ, is on his way.

15 He’ll show up right on time, his arrival guaranteed by the Blessed and Undisputed Ruler, High King, High God.  MSG

▼▼▼

1 Tim 6:11 But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things; aim at and pursue righteousness (right standing with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the loving fear of God and being Christlike), faith, love, steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart.

12 Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.

13 In the presence of God, Who preserves alive all living things, and of Christ Jesus, Who in His testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I [solemnly] charge you

14 To keep all His precepts unsullied and flawless, irreproachable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Anointed One),  AMP

John 6:47 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, relies on, and has faith in Me] has (now possesses) eternal life.  AMP

Heb 4:14  Inasmuch then as we have a great High Priest Who has [already] ascended and passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith in Him].  AMP

Rom 4:16 Therefore, [inheriting] the promise is the outcome of faith and depends [entirely] on faith, in order that it might be given as an act of grace (unmerited favor), to make it stable and valid and guaranteed to all his descendants — not only to the devotees and adherents of the Law, but also to those who share the faith of Abraham, who is [thus] the father of us all.

17 As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed. AMP    ▼▼▼

RO 4: 16 Therefore since faith sponsors the gift of grace, the promise is equally secured for all the children. The law has no exclusive claim on anyone.  Faith is our source, and that makes Abraham our father.

17 When God changed Abram’s name to Abraham, he made a public statement that he would be the father of all nations. Here we see Abraham faced with God’s faith; the kind of faith that resurrects the dead and calls things which are not [visible yet] as though they were.  MIRROR

Gal 3:9 So those now who live by faith are blessed along with Abraham, who lived by faith — this is no new doctrine!

10 And that means that anyone who tries to live by his own effort, independent of God, is doomed to failure. Scripture backs this up: “Utterly cursed is every person who fails to carry out every detail written in the Book of the law.”

11 The obvious impossibility of carrying out such a moral program should make it plain that no one can sustain a relationship with God that way. The person who lives in right relationship with God does it by embracing what God arranges for him. Doing things for God is the opposite of entering into what God does for you. Habakkuk had it right: “The person who believes God, is set right by God — and that’s the real life.”

12 Rule-keeping does not naturally evolve into living by faith, but only perpetuates itself in more and more rule-keeping, a fact observed in Scripture: “The one who does these things [rule-keeping]continues to live by them.”  MSG

2 Cor 4:13 We’re not keeping this quiet, not on your life. Just like the psalmist who wrote, “I believed it, so I said it,” we say what we believe.

14 And what we believe is that the One who raised up the Master Jesus will just as certainly raise us up with you, alive.

15 Every detail works to your advantage and to God’s glory: more and more grace, more and more people, more and more praise!

16 So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace.

17 These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us.

18 There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever. MSG

▼▼▼

2 COR 4: 13 We echo the exact same spirit of faith David had when he wrote: “I believe and so I speak!” We too believe and so we speak! Our persuasion is our conversation.

14 This resurrection life we enjoy in Jesus fully includes you.

15 Whatever we go through in the gospel is to advantage you! We live for you! As grace abounds in more and more people so does the volume of gratitude in the accomplished mission of Jesus break through the sound barrier to exhibit the heart dream of God.

16 We have much reason to be brave! There might be a lot of wear and tear on the outside; but don’t be distracted by that! On the inside we are celebrating daily revival!

17 We are fully engaged in an exceedingly superior reality; the extent and weight of this glory make any degree of suffering vanish into insignificance! The suffering is fleeting and ever so slight by comparison to the weight and enduring effect of this glory we participate in for all eternity.

18 We are not keeping any score of what seems so obvious to the senses on the surface; it is fleeting and irrelevant; it is the unseen eternal realm within us which has our full attention and captivates our gaze!   MIRROR

2 Thess 1:11 With this in view we constantly pray for you, that our God may deem and count you worthy of [your] calling and [His] every gracious purpose of goodness, and with power may complete in [your] every particular work of faith (faith which is that leaning of the whole human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness). HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD

HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD  8-12-22  VIDEO HEARING GODS VOICE IN 5

Hearing and knowing the Father‘s voice are so important in living our lives here on earth. God can sound different ways at different times. We can hear through the Word.  His voice is revealed to us through His living Word. It’s not the worlds voice but it’s Gods voice.

Deut 4:32 Ask questions. Find out what has been going on all these years before you were born. From the day God created man and woman on this Earth, and from the horizon in the east to the horizon in the west — as far back as you can imagine and as far away as you can imagine — has as great a thing as this ever happened? Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

33 Has a people ever heard, as you did, a god speaking out of the middle of the fire and lived to tell the story?  MSG

Acts 7:29 When Moses heard that, realizing that the word was out, he ran for his life and lived in exile over in Midian. During the years of exile, two sons were born to him.

30 “Forty years later, in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, an angel appeared to him in the guise of flames of a burning bush.

31 Moses, not believing his eyes, went up to take a closer look. He heard God’s voice: 32 ‘I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.’ Frightened nearly out of his skin, Moses shut his eyes and turned away.

33 “God said, ‘Kneel and pray. You are in a holy place, on holy ground.

Transformed- Made in the Image and Likeness of God. by MARY DORIAN 8-7-22

Gen 1:26 God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.

27 So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.

28 And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.  AMP

27 God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God’s nature.

He created them male and female.

28 God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth.”

12 I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me.

13 Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward — to Jesus.

14 I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.

15 So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision — you’ll see it yet!

16 Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it.

17 Stick with me, friends. Keep track of those you see running this same course, headed for this same goal. MSG

PHIL 3:10 Oh to comprehend the dynamic of his resurrection! His resurrection is evidence of our righteousness! In the revelation of God’s economy of inclusion, I actually co-suffered with him and co-died together with Christ!

11 When confronted with death, I actually come 1face to face with my own resurrection

12 which the prophetic pointed. Christ is whom we were reaching for all along! Here he is in our face; within our immediate grasp There may be blurry edges to my comprehending the full scope of resurrection life beyond the grave; but I pursue the complete conclusion of co-comprehending and fully grasping exactly that which Jesus Christ knew all along about me when he died my death; and to see me in his faith where I am so perfectly included when he rescued and raised me out of the grasp of death! To know even as I have always been known!

13 I am not boasting about this new-found-righteousness as if I came up with the idea; on the contrary, I have distanced myself from everything the DIY-system of the law of works and willpower previously represented in my reference; now I am fully engaged with that to!

14 I have the prize of mankind’s redeemed innocence in full view; just like a champion athlete in the public games I refuse to be distracted by anything else. God has 1invited us in Christ, to lift up our eyes and realize our identity in him.

15 We who have discovered our perfect righteousness have our thoughts anchored in Christ. If you still see yourself as imperfect, God will reveal to you that you are wasting your time to imagine that you can become more accepted and righteous than what you already are!

16 So then, let the message of grace set the pace.

17 You are free to mimic me as we together impact the lives of many others to follow in our footsteps.   MIRROR

1 COR 15:51 Ponder this mystery, I want to show you something that you have never seen before: everyone will be awakened out of sleep; we will 3all experience exactly the same change.

52 This will happen in an instant, in a blink of the eye: the final trumpet will sound, then the dead shall be awoken out of their sleep and we, who are still alive, shall be instantly changed into a different kind of body. MIRROR

1 Cor 15:51 Take notice! I tell you a mystery (a secret truth, an event decreed by the hidden purpose or counsel of God). We shall not all fall asleep [in death], but we shall all be changed (transformed)

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the [sound of the] last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead [in Christ] will be raised imperishable (free and immune from decay), and we shall be changed (transformed).  AMP

Mark 9:1 Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, there are some standing here now who won’t experience death until they see God’s kingdom realm manifest with power!”

2After six days, Jesus took Peter and the two brothers, Jacob and John, and hiked up a high mountain to be alone. And Jesus’ appearance was dramatically altered, for he was transfigured before their very eyes!

3His clothing sparkled and became glistening white—whiter than any bleach in the world could make them.

4Then suddenly, right in front of them, Moses and Elijah appeared, and they spoke with Jesus.

5Peter blurted out, “Good Teacher, this is so amazing to see the three of you together! Why don’t we stay here and set up three shelters: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah?”

6(For all of the disciples were in total fear, and Peter didn’t have a clue what to say.)

7Just then, a radiant cloud began to spread over them, enveloping them all. And God’s voice suddenly spoke from the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son and you need to always listen to him!”

8Then suddenly, as they looked around, they saw only Jesus with them, for Moses and Elijah had faded away. TPT

2 Corinthians 3:18 We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. MSG  ▼▼▼

2 Cor 3:18 All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him. MSG

2 COR 3:18 Now, we all, with new understanding, see ourselves in him as in a mirror. The days of window-shopping are over! In him every face is unveiled. In gazing with wonder at the blueprint of God displayed in human form, we suddenly realize that we are looking into a mirror, where every feature of his image, articulated in Christ, is reflected within us! The Spirit of the Lord engineers this radical 4transformation; we are led from an inferior 5mind-set to the revealed 5endorsement of our authentic identity.

Thoughts, can bring you a sense of peace, or a sense of anxiety and fear. God‘s thoughts for us and our thoughts and imaginations we bring into the sense of well-being.

Our minds helps the physical body. Let His thoughts be our thoughts. The thoughts for good. He has more thoughts about us than the sand in the seashore. In Hebrew the heros of faith had God‘s thoughts and they did mighty exploits.

PHIL 4:8 Now let this be your conclusive reasoning: consider that which is true about everyone as evidenced in Christ. Live overwhelmed by God’s opinion of you! Acquaint yourselves with the revelation of righteousness; realize God’s likeness in you. Make it your business to declare mankind’s redeemed innocence. Think friendship. Discover how famous everyone is in the light of the gospel; mankind is in God’s limelight! Ponder how elevated you are in Christ. Study stories that celebrate life.
