GOD’S REST 6-29-25

GOD’S REST 6-29-25  VIDEO REST BY GRAHAM COOKE 2

In our world today, there is a lot of anxiety and fear. What is happening? What should we do? Who should we trust? The answers to all of the above is God. There is a rest for the believers to enter into. Not talking about taking a nap. We are talking about entering into God‘s rest. Where everything is seen clearly. If we think it’s our job, family or our responsibilities that is keeping us from entering into rest, we are mistaken. It is by our unbelief and not hearing the Holy Spirit voice. The devil works by bringing thoughts into your mind. But God brings the truth and rest to you by the Holy Spirit. The true rest is believing God’s promises and relaying on them not our works.

HEB 4:1 Now the promise of entering into God’s rest is still for us today. So we must be extremely careful to ensure that we all embrace the fullness of that promise and not fail to experience it.

2 For we have heard the good news of deliverance just as they did, yet they didn’t join their faith with the Word. Instead, what they heard didn’t affect them deeply, for they doubted.

3 For those of us who believe, faith activates the promise and we experience the realm of confident rest! For he has said,  “I was grieved with them and made a solemn oath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’ ”God’s works have all been completed from the foundation of the world,

4 for it says in the Scriptures, And on the seventh day God rested from all his works.

5 And again, as stated before, They will not enter into my rest.  MIRROR

Heb 3:19 So we see that they were not able to enter [into His rest], because of their unwillingness to adhere to and trust in and rely on God [unbelief had shut them out].  AMP

HEB 4:6 It is clear then that there is still an opportunity to enter into that rest which Israel failed to access because of their unbelief, even though they were the first to hear the Good News of God’s intention to restore mankind to the same Sabbath that Adam and Israel had lost.

7 So, now again many years later, he points specifically to an extended opportunity when he announces in David’s prophecy, “Today when hearing my voice, do not do so with a calloused heart. Be faith sensitive.”

8 If Joshua, who led the new generation of Israel out of the wilderness [where their parents perished through unbelief], had succeeded in leading them into the rest that God intended, David would not so many years later have referred to yet another day.

9 The conclusion is clear: the original rest is still in place for God’s people.

10 God’s rest celebrates his finished work; whoever enters into God’s rest immediately abandons his own efforts to improve what God has already perfected.

11 Let us therefore be prompt to understand and fully appropriate that rest and not fall again into the same trap that snared Israel in unbelief.   MIRROR   ↓↓↓

Heb 4:6 So this promise has not yet been fulfilled. Those earlier ones never did get to the place of rest because they were disobedient.

7 God keeps renewing the promise and setting the date as today, just as he did in David’s psalm, centuries later than the original invitation: Today, please listen, don’t turn a deaf ear . . .

8 And so this is still a live promise. It wasn’t canceled at the time of Joshua; otherwise, God wouldn’t keep renewing the appointment for “today.”

9 The promise of “arrival” and “rest” is still there for God’s people.

10 God himself is at rest. And at the end of the journey we’ll surely rest with God.

11 So let’s keep at it and eventually arrive at the place of rest, not drop out through some sort of disobedience.  MSG

Heb 4:11 Let us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter that rest [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves], that no one may fall or perish by the same kind of unbelief and disobedience [into which those in the wilderness fell].  AMP

I’ve just arrived.” Joshua fell, face to the ground, and worshiped. THE GIFT OF SALVATION

SALVATION THE MOST POWERFUL GIFT OF ALL  6-20-25

VIDEO SALVATION SPOKEN

There are many powerful miracles recorded in the Bible, but the greatest gift is the gift of salvation. Going from death to life change from darkness to light. Salvation is a free gift from God. The body of Christ is putting in charge of the business of salvation, bringing the message to the world

And he is not about to abandon his creation – the gift of his Son is for mankind to realize their origin in him who mirrors their authentic birth – begotten not of flesh but of the Father!17 God has no intention to condemn anyone – he sent his Son, not to be the Judge but the Savior of the world.  MIRROR
John 10:27 The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me.28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages. [To all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed.] And no one is able to snatch them out of My hand.29 My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all [else]; and no one is able to snatch [them] out of the Father’s hand.  AMP
Eph 2:8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]  AMP
Titus 3:3 It wasn’t so long ago that we ourselves were stupid and stubborn, dupes of sin, ordered every which way by our glands, going around with a chip on our shoulder, hated and hating back.4 But when God, our kind and loving Savior God, stepped in,5 he saved us from all that. It was all his doing; we had nothing to do with it. He gave us a good bath, and we came out of it new people, washed inside and out by the Holy Spirit.  MSG

MSG  Rom 10:9 Say the welcoming word to God — “Jesus is my Master” — embracing, body and soul, God’s work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That’s it. You’re not “doing” anything; you’re simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That’s salvation.10 With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: “God has set everything right between him and me!”  MSG
ROM 10:9 Now your salvation is realized! Your own words echo God’s voice. The unveiling of the masterful act of Jesus forms the words in your mouth, inspired by the conviction in your heart that God indeed raised him from the dead. 10 This is where believing happens spontaneously, in the heart! The revelation of mankind’s redeemed righteousness ignites a new conversation, announcing salvation. MIRROR
1 Sam 2:1 Hannah prayed: I’m bursting with God-news! I’m walking on air. I’m laughing at my rivals. I’m dancing my salvation.2 Nothing and no one is holy like God, no rock mountain like our God.3 Don’t dare talk pretentiously —  not a word of boasting, ever! For God knows what’s going on. He takes the measure of everything that happens. MSG

Ps 71:15  I’ll write the book on your righteousness, talk up your salvation the livelong day, never run out of good things to write or say. MSG  Ps 118:14  The Lord is my Strength and Song; and He has become my Salvation.15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents and private dwellings of the [uncompromisingly] righteous: the right hand of the Lord does valiantly and achieves strength!  AMP

All who were marked out for real life put their trust in God — they honored God’s Word by receiving that life.49 And this Message of salvation spread like wildfire all through the region. MSG

1 Cor 1:18 The Message that points to Christ on the Cross seems like sheer silliness to those hellbent on destruction, but for those on the way of salvation it makes perfect sense. This is the way God works, and most powerfully as it turns out. MSG

1 Cor 1:21  Since the world in all its fancy wisdom never had a clue when it came to knowing God, God in his wisdom took delight in using what the world considered dumb — preaching, of all things! — to bring those who trust him into the way of salvation. MSG

EPH 1:13 ‘And because of him, when you who are not Jews heard the revelation of truth, you believed in the wonderful news of salvation. Now we have been stamped with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit. ‘  TPTHeb 2:3 do you think we can risk neglecting this latest message, this magnificent salvation? First of all, it was delivered in person by the Master, then accurately passed on to us by those who heard it from him.4 All the while God was validating it with gifts through the Holy Spirit, all sorts of signs and miracles, as he saw fit.5 God didn’t put angels in charge of this business of salvation that we’re dealing with here.  MSG

2 Cor 5:19 It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor).

LIVING THE ABUNDENT LIFE 6-15-2025

LIVING IN ABUNDANCE 6-15-25 VIDEO

We, the children of God are called to live an abundant life now. Not waiting to be in heaven, but at this very moment. Abundant signifies a state of plentifulness, overflowing with grace, a rich, fulfilling life, both materially and supernaturally. The fullness of life is available because of Jesus. Abundant life is freedom from sin and sins nature. It means on earth as it is in heaven. And that life starts now. It means freedom over death. Abundance is the fullness of life. Nothing missing.

JN 10:10 The thief “shepherd” has no other agenda but to steal, kill and he couldn’t care less if he lost some sheep. I have come with the sole purpose for you to have life in its most complete form.    MIRROR

John 10:10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). AMP

2 Cor 9:8 God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done.

9 As one psalmist puts it, He throws caution to the winds, giving to the needy in reckless abandon. His right-living, right-giving ways never run out, never wear out. MSG

Deut 28:12  The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.

13 And the Lord shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day and are watchful to do them.  AMP

Deut 28:12 God will throw open the doors of his sky vaults and pour rain on your land on schedule and bless the work you take in hand. You will lend to many nations but you yourself won’t have to take out a loan.

13 God will make you the head, not the tail; you’ll always be the top dog, never the bottom dog, as you obediently listen to and diligently keep the commands of God, your God, that I am commanding you today. MSG

EPH 3:18-19 Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!

20 Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. TPT

Eph 3:19 Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.

20 God can do anything, you know — far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. MSG

ROM 15:13  God who is the engineer of expectation fills you to the brim with tranquil delight. The dynamic of the Holy Spirit causes faith to exceed any possible hesitation in hope.  MIRROR

ROM 8:2 The law of the Spirit is the liberating force of life in Christ. This leaves me with no further obligation to the law of sin and death. Spirit has superseded the sin enslaved senses as the principle law of our lives.

3 The law failed to be anything more than an instruction manual; it had no power to deliver us from the strong influence of sin holding us hostage in our own bodies. God disguised himself in his Son in this very domain where sin ruled us, in flesh. The body he lived and conquered in was no different to ours. Thus sin’s authority in the human body was condemned.  MIRROR

Rom 8:2 A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.

3 God went for the jugular when he sent his own Son. He didn’t deal with the problem as something remote and unimportant. In his Son, Jesus, he personally took on the human condition, entered the disordered mess of struggling humanity in order to set it right once and for all. The law code, weakened as it always was by fractured human nature, could never have done that. The law always ended up being used as a Band-Aid on sin instead of a deep healing of it. MSG

JOHN 3:16 The entire cosmos is the object of God’s affection! And he is not about to abandon his creation – the gift of his Son is for mankind to realize their origin in him who mirrors their authentic birth – begotten not of flesh but of the Father!  MIRROR

1 Cor 15:55 Who got the last word, oh, Death? Oh, Death, who’s afraid of you now?

56 It was sin that made death so frightening and law-code guilt that gave sin its leverage, its destructive power.

57 But now in a single victorious stroke of Life, all three — sin, guilt, death — are gone, the gift of our Master, Jesus Christ. Thank God!

58 With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground. And don’t hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort.  MSG

1 COR 15:55 Oh death where is your sting? Oh grave, where is your victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; the strength of sin is the law.

57 Your victory is not a maybe; because of the magnanimous doing of Jesus Christ, it is a given!

58 For this reason you can afford to be absolutely settled and rock-solid in faith’s persuasion and always ready to go beyond where you would have gone before. Your doing now is inspired by your knowing that you are in him. If his resurrection is yours then his victory over sin and death is equally yours. MIRROR

SPIRIT OF TRUTH 6-13-25

THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH 6-13-25 VIDEO A SPIRITUAL BATTLE OF TRUTH VS LIES

In the Bible, truth refers to the reality of God‘s Word and character. It encompasses a body of knowledge and a way of life. Truth is more than a factual occurrence. It is about God‘s faithfulness and consistency. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. Jesus preached truth all about the kingdom.

JN 14:6 Jesus explained, “I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with me. To know me is to know my Father too TPT

Ps 40:11 Now God, don’t hold out on me, don’t hold back your passion. Your love and truth are all that keeps me together. MSG

Job 32:18  I’ve got a lot to say, and I’m bursting to say it.

19 The pressure has built up, like lava beneath the earth. I’m a volcano ready to blow.

20 I have to speak — I have no choice. I have to say what’s on my heart,

21 And I’m going to say it straight —  the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.  MSG

Zech 8:16 And now here’s what I want you to do: Tell the truth, the whole truth, when you speak. Do the right thing by one another, both personally and in your courts.

17 Don’t cook up plans to take unfair advantage of others. Don’t do or say what isn’t so. I hate all that stuff. Keep your lives simple and honest.” Decree of God. MSG

LIVING IN THE GLORY REALM

LIVING IN THE GLORY REALM 6-6-25VIDEO STRONG PRESENCE JOSHUA MILLS

We’re being invited to live in the realm of God‘s glory. That realm overcomes anything that the world could ever offer. To experience God‘s presence is to experience the shining of God‘s face. The disciples witnessed the glory realm when Jesus was transfigured. Moses stood in God‘s presence and his face was radiant. Transfiguration is where Jesus appeared to change, reflecting the divine nature and Glory. His face shown like the sun. His clothes became white as light showing his glory. Moses and Elijah appeared, showing how Jesus was the fulfillment of the law.

PS 67:1 God, keep us near your mercy-fountain and bless us! And when you look down on us, may your face beam with joy!  Pause in his presence

2 Send us out all over the world so that everyone everywhere will discover your ways and know who you are and see your power to save. TPT

Num 6:24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;

25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;

26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).  AMP

2 Thess 1:10 When He comes to be glorified in His saints [on that day He will be made more glorious in His consecrated people], and [He will] be marveled at and admired [in His glory reflected] in all who have believed [who have adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him], because our witnessing among you was confidently accepted and believed [and confirmed in your lives]. Ex 34:29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai carrying the two Tablets of The Testimony, he didn’t know that the skin of his face glowed because he had been speaking with God.

30 Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, saw his radiant face, and held back, afraid to get close to him.

31 Moses called out to them. Aaron and the leaders in the community came back and Moses talked with them.

32 Later all the Israelites came up to him and he passed on the commands, everything that God had told him on Mount Sinai.

33 When Moses finished speaking with them, he put a veil over his face, MSG

2 Cor 3:12 Since we have such [glorious] hope (such joyful and confident expectation), we speak very freely and openly and fearlessly.

2 Cor 3:12  With that kind of hope to excite us, nothing holds us back.

13 Unlike Moses, we have nothing to hide. Everything is out in the open with us. He wore a veil so the children of Israel wouldn’t notice that the glory was fading away —  MSG

2 COR 4:6 The light source is founded in the same God who said, “Light, be!” And light shone out of darkness! He lit the lamp in our understanding so that we may clearly recognize the features of his likeness in the face of Jesus Christ reflected within us.

7 And now, in the glow of this glorious light and with unveiled faces we discover this treasure where it was hidden all along, in these frail skin-suits made of clay. We did not invent ourselves; we are God’s idea to begin with and the dynamic of his doing and amazing engineering!  MIRROR

2 Cor 3:18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.  AMP

2 Cor 3:18  All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him. MSG

Matt 17:1 Six days later, three of them saw that glory. Jesus took Peter and the brothers, James and John, and led them up a high mountain.

2 His appearance changed from the inside out, right before their eyes. Sunlight poured from his face. His clothes were filled with light.

3 Then they realized that Moses and Elijah were also there in deep conversation with him.

4 Peter broke in, “Master, this is a great moment! What would you think if I built three memorials here on the mountain — one for you, one for Moses, one for Elijah?”

5 While he was going on like this, babbling, a light-radiant cloud enveloped them, and sounding from deep in the cloud a voice: “This is my Son, marked by my love, focus of my delight. Listen to him.”

6 When the disciples heard it, they fell flat on their faces, scared to death.

7 But Jesus came over and touched them. “Don’t be afraid.”

8 When they opened their eyes and looked around all they saw was Jesus, only Jesus. MSG

2 PET 1:16 We were not retelling some masterfully crafted legend when we informed you of the power and appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, for we saw his magnificence and splendor unveiled before our very eyes.

17 Yes, Father God lavished upon him radiant glory and honor when his distinct voice spoke out of the realm of majestic glory, endorsing him with these words: This is my cherished Son, marked by my love. All my delight is found in him!

18 And we ourselves heard that voice resound from the heavens while we were with him on the holy mountain.

19 And so we have been given the prophetic word—the written message of the prophets, made more reliable and fully validated by the confirming voice of God on the Mount of Transfiguration. And you will continue to do well if you stay focused on it. For this prophetic message is like a piercing light shining in a gloomy place until the dawning of a new day, when the Morning Star rises in your hearts.  TPT

ROM 12:1 Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? To surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.

THE MIRACLE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS 6-1-25

THE MIRICLE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS 6-1-25 VIDEO righteousness empowers us

Through Jesus, we have all received a miracle. We’ve been made righteous by our faith in Him. Nothing can ever snatch us away from Him. We’ve gone from death to life. No one can be righteous by their own actions. Righteousness is a miracle sent to us by the Holy Spirit. The righteous are those whose faith and love for God causes them to live their lives, depending on God‘s kindness.

PS 140:13 Your godly ones will thank you no matter what happens. For they choose and cherish your presence above everything else!  TPT

PROV 8:20 I lead you into the ways of righteousness to discover the paths of true justice.

21 Those who love me gain great wealth and a glorious inheritance, and I will fill their lives with treasures.”  TPT

ISA 53:11 After the great anguish of his soul, he will see light and be fully satisfied.  By knowing him, the righteous one, my servant will make many to be righteous, because he, their sin-bearer, carried away their sins.

12 So I, Yahweh, will assign him a portion among a great multitude, and he will triumph and divide the spoils of victory with his mighty ones —all because he poured out his life-blood to death. He was counted among the worst of sinners, yet he carried sin’s burden for many and intercedes for those who are rebels.  TPT

1 JN 3:7 Delightfully loved children, don’t let anyone divert you from this truth. The person who keeps doing what is right proves that he is righteous before God, even as the Messiah is righteous.

8 But the one who indulges in a sinful life is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was revealed was to undo and destroy the works of the devil.

9 Everyone who is truly God’s child will refuse to keep sinning because God’s seed remains within him, and he is unable to continue sinning because he has been fathered by God himself.

10 Here is how God’s children can be clearly distinguished from the children of the Evil One. Anyone who does not demonstrate righteousness and show love to fellow believers is not living with God as his source.  TPT

GEN 15:6  And Abram trusted every word Yahweh had spoken! And because of his faith, Yahweh credited it to him as righteousness.  TPT  ↓↓↓

Gen 15:6 And he believed! Believed God! God declared him “Set-Right-with-God.” MSG

ROM 4:3 Scripture is clear, “Abraham believed what God believed about him and that concluded his righteousness.”

4 There is a large difference between a reward and a gift: if you have earned something through hard work, what you receive in return is your due and certainly not a gift.

5 It is clear then that someone who believes that God declares the ungodly innocent understands that it is faith and not our toil that accounts for righteousness.

6 David confirms this principle when he speaks of the blessedness of the one who discovers God’s approval without any reference to something specific that they had done to qualify themselves.

7 Oh what happy progress one makes with the weight of sin and guilt removed and one’s slate wiped clean!

8 “How blessed is the one who receives a receipt instead of an invoice for their sins.”  MIRROR

Gal 3:6 These things happen among you just as they happened with Abraham? He believed God, and that act of belief was turned into a life that was right with God.

7 Is it not obvious to you that persons who put their trust in Christ (not persons who put their trust in the law!) are like Abraham: children of faith?

8 It was all laid out beforehand in Scripture that God would set things right with non-Jews by faith. Scripture anticipated this in the promise to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed in you.”

9 So those now who live by faith are blessed along with Abraham, who lived by faith — this is no new doctrine! MSG

 ↓↓↓

GAL 3:6 Abraham had no other claim to righteousness but simply believing what God declared concerning him! Isaac confirmed God’s faith, not Abraham’s efforts. This is all we have in common with Abraham.

7 The conclusion is clear; faith and not flesh relates us to Abraham!

8 Scripture records prophetically that the mass of non-Jewish nations would be justified by faith and not by their own ability to be righteous. This announcement by God over Abraham is the gospel in advance. God saw every nation included in the same principle of the faith that Abraham pioneered. “In you all the nations of the earth are equally represented in the blessing of faith.

9 As did Abraham so do we now find our source in the blessing of faith. MIRROR

2 COR 5:21 This is the divine exchange: he who knew no sin embraced our distortion; he appeared to be without form; this was the mystery of God’s prophetic poetry. Matt 5:19 Whoever then breaks or does away with or relaxes one of the least [important] of these commandments and teaches men so shall be called least [important] in the kingdom of heaven, but he who practices them and teaches others to do so shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness (your uprightness and your right standing with God) is more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.  AMP

2 TIM 2:22 The best way to consistently escape the snare and distractions of youthful lusts, which are often typified by an all-consuming longing for forbidden pleasures, is to pursue and engage your life actively in everything that celebrates your redeemed oneness. Instead of a sin-consciousness, cultivate a righteousness-consciousness.    MIRROR

GAL 2:20 My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!

21 So that is why I don’t view God’s grace as something peripheral. For if keeping the law could release God’s righteousness to us, then Christ would have died for nothing.
