Our God is God. It’s time for us to settle in our hearts once and for all who we will serve. Our God is God. So we probably don’t bow down to any statues or worship them but what do you bow down to? Money, job, Fear of man, fear, popularity etc. We are asked to not be double minded. We need to know that Yahweh is number one not our concerns or cares of this world, it is in the power of worship that we get our priorities straight. You and I become like who we worship.

1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols (false gods) — [from anything and everything that would occupy the place in your heart due to God, from any sort of substitute for Him that would take first place in your life]. Amen (so let it be). AMP

1 JN 5:21 This defeats every image of our imagination that could possibly compete with the authentic likeness of our design! Darling children, distance yourselves from every substitute image, which is what idolatry is all about!  MIRROR

2 COR 6:16 How can the tangible, physical address of the living God 1compare with a phantom image that people host in their minds? Mankind is God’s idea – we did not invent God or ourselves; he invented us! He said, “In you will I reside and move and have my being; we belong together; I am yours and you are mine!”

4:22 You have been worshipping in ignorance all along while the Jews continue to anticipate the Messiah in their devotion, knowing that the promise pointing to the Savior of the world would be emerging from within. 

23 The end of an era has arrived – the future is here! Whatever prophetic values were expressed in external devotional forms and rituals are now eclipsed in true spirit worship from within, face to face with the Father – acknowledging our genesis in him – this is his delight! The Father’s desire is the worshipper more than the worship!

24  God is Spirit and not a holy mountain or a sacred city with man-made shrines! Return to your Source – the Father is our true fountainhead!  MIRROR

Rom 12:1 I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. You are not alone. God (Yahweh) has got your back. No matter what you’re facing, God stands with you. Circumstances can feel like a burning fire. A bad report from the doctor, kids having trouble, betrayal from people you love, loss of any kind. Through it all there is someone who goes with you through whatever you face. His name is Jesus. You don’t even have the smell of smoke because you are never alone. When you feel lonely, hard pressed, hopeless God will fight for you. He is your covering He is your companion nothing can separate you from Him. No circumstances or trials will ever overtake you.

Dan 3:20 And he commanded the strongest men in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

21 Then these [three] men were bound in their cloaks, their tunics or undergarments, their turbans, and their other clothing, and they were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

22 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame and sparks from the fire killed those men who handled Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Now, in the same way that fire reveals gold, your faith in the midst of contradiction, makes Jesus Christ visible and gives much reason to testimony stories worth telling. JAMES 1:3-4 For you know that when your faith is testedit stirs up in you the power of endurance.

Rom 8:31 So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose?

32 If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us?

33 And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen?

34 Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us — who was raised to life for us! — is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us.

Troubles, pressures, and problems are unable to come between us and heaven’s love. What about persecutions, deprivations, dangers, and death threats? PS 91:1-6 When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hiddenin the strength of God Most High.He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence.

4 His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm.You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night  nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you.
Don’t fear a thing!  Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you,[  nor will the powers of evil be launched against you. TPT

God‘s faithfulness is his unfailing loyalty it is repeatedly demonstrated. He is constant reliable with unswerving adherence to his promises. The Lord reminds us to stay ever faithful to him. Not accusing but trusting him.

1 COR 10:13 Your situation is not unique! Every human life faces contradictions! Here is the Good News: God believes in your freedom! He has made it possible for you to triumph in every situation that you will ever encounter! MIRROR

The Holy Spirit is person not an influence, not only a power. In the New Testament the Holy Spirit comes to be sealed within every believer. A seal is an identified mark. It shows who you belong to. His presences show we belong to Jesus. A signet ring is a form of identification of who you belong to and who your authority comes from. You are sealed and work by the Holy Spirit. Because the Holy Spirit is the seal that identifies as belonging to God. There is nothing else left if we deny him. The Holy Spirit will never leave us. He the Holy Spirit is the divine encourager closer to you than your very breath. Sealed within you never to leave.

Eph 1:13  It’s in Christ that you, once you heard the truth and believed it (this Message of your salvation), found yourselves home free — signed, sealed, and delivered by the Holy Spirit.

14 This signet from God is the first installment on what’s coming, a reminder that we’ll get everything God has planned for us, a praising and glorious life. MSG

ROM 8:4-6 So now every righteous requirement of the law can be fulfilled through the Anointed One living his life in us. And we are free to live, not according to our flesh, but by the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit!

Those who are motivated by the flesh only pursue what benefits themselves. But those who live by the impulses of the Holy Spirit are motivated to pursue spiritual realities.

6 For the sense and reason of the flesh is death, but the mind-set controlled by the Spirit finds life and peace.TPT

Rom 8:9 But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. 10 But if Christ lives in you, [then although] your [natural] body is dead by reason of sin and guilt, the spirit is alive because of [the] righteousness [that He imputes to you].

ROM 8:13-16 In the light of all this, to now continue to live under the sinful influences of the senses, is to reinstate the dominion of spiritual death. Instead, we are indebted to now exhibit the highest expression of life inspired by the Spirit. This life demonstrates zero tolerance to the habits and sinful patterns of the flesh.

14 The original life of the Father revealed in his Son is the life the Spirit now conducts within us.  

15 Slavery is such a poor substitute for sonship! They are opposites; the one leads forcefully through fear while sonship responds fondly to Abba Father.

GAL 5:16-18 Let me emphasize this: As you yield to the dynamic life and power of the Holy Spirit, you will abandon the cravings of your self-life.

17 When your self-life craves the things that offend the Holy Spirit you hinder him from living free within you! And the Holy Spirit’s intense cravings hinder your self-life from dominating you! So then, the two incompatible and conflicting forces within you are your self-life of the flesh and the new creation life of the Spirit.

18 But when you yield to the life of the Spirit, you will no longer be living under the law, but soaring above it!  TPT

Gal 5:25 If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit we have our life in God, let us go forward walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.] AMP

Brand new month a brand new start is beginning. The eighth month of the Hebrew calendar is now. Let’s begin by overcoming the spirit of fear once and for all. Fear of the unknown, fear of the future. There is a stronghold. A stronghold is place where a particular thought or belief occupies our mind in an overwhelming way. The only one who has the right to shape our lives is Jesus Christ. He is a truth! He is greater than our experiences.

2 Cor 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds,

5 [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),

6 Being in readiness to punish every [insubordinate for his] disobedience, when your own submission and obedience [as a church] are fully secured and complete. AMP   ▼▼▼

2 COR 10:4-7  For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide.

We can demolish every deceptive fantasythat opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thoughtand insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.

Since we are armed with such dynamic weaponry, we stand ready to punishany trace of rebellion, as soon as you choose complete obedience. TPT

God has glorious plans for mankind. We know the story of Adam and Eve in the garden and what happened, but do we really embrace Jesus Christ and what he did on the cross and by his resurrection? Sin is defeated at the point of its very nature.  Sickness is a result of sin. Jesus came and demonstrated and preach the good news. He healed all who came to him in advance of a sacrifice, because He was and is the Prince of wholeness. He later gave the power to the disciples and to the church to do the same thing. Sickness is defeated. We do not fight for healing we come from a point of healing. Not fighting to be free from sin but from a point of already defeated. We don’t fight for life to be given but life being ours already eternally.

2 COR 5:17 Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new person. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new. TPT

ROM 6:6 We perceive that our old lifestyle was co-crucified together with him; this concludes that the vehicle that accommodated sin in us, was scrapped and rendered entirely useless. Our slavery to sin has come to an end.

9 It is plain for all to see that death lost its dominion over Christ in his resurrection; he need not ever die again to prove a further point.

11 This reasoning is equally relevant to you. Calculate the cross; there can only be one logical conclusion: he died your death; that means you died to sin, and are now alive to God. ROM 6:13 So then, refuse to answer its call to surrender your body as a tool for wickedness. Instead, passionately answer God’s call to keep yielding your body to him as one who has now experienced resurrection life! You live now for his pleasure, ready to be used for his noble purpose.

14 Remember this: sin will not conquer you, for God already has! You are not governed by law but governed by the reign of the grace of God. Grace Frees Us to Serve God

15 What are we to do, then? Should we sin to our hearts’ content since there’s no law to condemn us anymore? What a terrible thought!

16 Don’t you realize that grace frees you to choose your own master? But choose carefully, for you surrender yourself to become a servant—bound to the one you choose to obey. If you choose to love sin, it will become your master, and it will own you and reward you with death. But if you choose to love and obey God, he will lead you into perfect righteousness.

17 And thanks be to God, for in the past you were servants of sin, but now your obedience is heart deep, and your life is being molded by truth through the teaching you are devoted to.

Isa 9:6 For a child has been born — for us! the gift of a son — for us! He’ll take over the running of the world. His names will be: Amazing Counselor, Strong God, Eternal Father, Prince of Wholeness.

7 His ruling authority will grow, and there’ll be no limits to the wholeness he brings. He’ll rule from the historic David throne over that promised kingdom. He’ll put that kingdom on a firm footing and keep it going With fair dealing and right living, beginning now and lasting always. The zeal of God-of-the-Angel-Armies will do all this. MSG

Luke 23:34 Jesus prayed, “Father, forgive them; they don’t know what they’re doing.” Dividing up his clothes, they threw dice for them. MSG

We thought when Jesus spoke this he was merely addressing those who crucified him but he was actually taking the sins of the world upon himself. He was decree and forgiveness for all mankind past, present, and future.  

ROM 6:23 The reward of the law is death the gift of grace is life! The bottom line is this: sin employs you like a soldier for its cause and rewards you with death; God gifts you with the highest quality of life all wrapped up in Christ Jesus our Leader.   MIRROR  

ROM 8:2 For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated usfrom the “law” of sin and death.

For God achieved what the law was unable to accomplish, because the law was limited by the weakness of human nature. Yet God sent us his Son in human form to identify with human weakness. Clothed with humanity, God’s Son gave his body to be the sin-offering so that God could once and for all condemn the guilt and power of sin.

So now every righteous requirement of the law can be fulfilled through the Anointed One living his life in us. And we are free to live, not according to our flesh, but by the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit! TPT ▼▼▼

Rom 8:2 A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.

3 God went for the jugular when he sent his own Son. He didn’t deal with the problem as something remote and unimportant. In his Son, Jesus, he personally took on the human condition, entered the disordered mess of struggling humanity in order to set it right once and for all. The law code, weakened as it always was by fractured human nature, could never have done that. The law always ended up being used as a Band-Aid on sin instead of a deep healing of it.

4 And now what the law code asked for but we couldn’t deliver is accomplished as we, instead of redoubling our own efforts, simply embrace what the Spirit is doing in us. MSG

1 Cor 6:11 And such some of you were [once]. But you were washed clean (purified by a complete atonement for sin and made free from the guilt of sin), and you were consecrated (set apart, hallowed), and you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God.  AMP

2 COR 5:1 We are convinced that even if these bodies we live in are folded up at death like tents, we will still have a God-built home that no human hands have built, which will last forever in the heavenly realm.

We inwardly sighas we live in these physicaltents,” longing to put on a new body for our life in heaven,

in the belief that once we put on our new “clothing” we won’t find ourselves “naked.” So, while living in this “tent,” we groan under its burden, not because we want to die but because we want these new bodies. We crave for all that is mortal to be swallowed up by eternal life.

And this is no empty hope, for God himself is the one who has prepared us for this wonderful destiny. And to confirm this promise, he has given us the Holy Spirit, like an engagement ring, as a guarantee.

That’s why we’re always full of courage. Even while we’re at home in the body, we’re homesick to be with the Master—

for we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes.

We live with a joyful confidence, yet at the same time we take delight in the thought of leaving our bodies behind to be at home with the Lord.

So whether we live or diewe make it our life’s passionto live our lives pleasing to him.

2 COR 5:14 The love of Christ constrains us and resonates within us; leaving us with only one conclusion: when Jesus died, every individual simultaneously died. In God’s logic, one has died for all, thus all have died.

15  Now if all were included in his death they were equally included in his resurrection. This unveiling of his love redefines human life! Whatever reference we could have of ourselves outside of our association with Christ is no longer relevant.

5:16 Therefore, from now on, I no longer know anyone according to the flesh! I no longer see people from a human point of view! This is a radical and most defining moment! No label that could possibly previously identify someone carries any further significance! Even our pet doctrines of Christ are redefined. Whatever we knew about him historically or sentimentally is challenged by this conclusion.   MIRROR

HEB 11:16 Their faith saw a greater reality in the spiritual realm than that which they experienced in their present situation; they reached for their true native city designed by God where he himself is proud to be their permanent address.  MIRROR

We seem to know that we have so many wonderful promises from God that actually belong to us. But we often have trouble receiving them for ourselves. Receive means to come into the possession of, to take hold of or to accept, to take back or to recover what is yours. Let’s start with believing that God has made us righteous and when we were made righteous before God by Christ it was then we could receive everything the father has promised. Since we have right standing with God we can receive everything Christ has done for us. Healing, miracles, deliverance all are ours now. Our faith in Jesus heals us. We have also received the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

Rom 3:22 Namely, the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [And it is meant] for all who believe. For there is no distinction,

23 Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives.

24 [All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus,

25 Whom God put forward [before the eyes of all] as a mercy seat and propitiation by His blood [the cleansing and life-giving sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation, to be received] through faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over and ignored former sins without punishment.

26 It was to demonstrate and prove at the present time (in the now season) that He Himself is righteous and that He justifies and accepts as righteous him who has [true] faith in Jesus.  AMP

ROM 3:22-26 This righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all those [Jew or Gentile] who believe [and trust in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s Son]. There is no distinction,

Remind my people, my children today of the tremendous power that is displayed when my word is spoken or decreed. Don’t speak my words without expecting results. It is a living word openly seen in Christ Jesus.

HEB 4:12 The message God spoke to us in Christ, is the most life giving and dynamic influence in us, cutting like a surgeon’s scalpel, sharper than a soldier’s sword, piercing to the deepest core of human conscience, to the dividing of soul and spirit; ending the dominance of the sense realm and its neutralizing effect upon the human spirit. ROM 3:4 God’s word is not under threat! In fact, if all of mankind fails, truth remains intact. Truth is defined in God; it is neither challenged nor vindicated by human experience. RO 10:8 Righteousness announced by God’s faith, is the authentic conversation! Here, every definition of distance in time, space, or even indifference and hostility, is cancelled. The word is no longer a distant prophetic pointer in the mouths of Moses and Elijah! They announced its destiny to be mirrored in the incarnation! “The Word is extremely close to you. His voice scooped out the seas. The ocean depths he poured into vast reservoirs.

He breathed words and worlds were birthed. “Let there be,” and there it was—

JN 1:1-3 To go back to the very beginning, is to find the Word already present there; face to face with God. The one mirrors the other! The Word is I am; God’s eloquence echoes and concludes in him. The Word equals God.

Acts 20:32  And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among all God’s set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of soul). AMP

JAMES 1:22-25  Don’t just listen to the Word of Truth and not respond to it, for that is the essence of self-deception. So always let his Word become like poetry written and fulfilled by your life!

23 If you listen to the Word and don’t live out the message you hear, you become like the person who looks in the mirror of the Word to discover the reflection of his face in the beginning.

24 You perceive how God sees you in the mirror of the Word, but then you go out and forgetyour divine origin.

25 But those who set their gaze deeply into the perfecting law of libertyare fascinated by and respond to the truth they hear and are strengthened by it—they experience God’s blessing in all that they do!  TPT
