WISDOM by Mary Dorian

WISDOM by Mary Dorian  4-23-21

James 3:13 Who is there among you who is wise and intelligent? Then let him by his noble living show forth his [good] works with the [unobtrusive] humility [which is the proper attribute] of true wisdom.

14 But if you have bitter jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry, selfish ambition) in your hearts, do not pride yourselves on it and thus be in defiance of and false to the Truth.

15 This [superficial] wisdom is not such as comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual (animal), even devilish (demoniacal).

16 For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and selfish ambition), there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices.

17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity).

18 And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God’s will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness, in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts]. James 3:13-18 Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom? Here’s what you do: Live well, live wisely, live humbly. It’s the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts.

14 Mean-spirited ambition isn’t wisdom. Boasting that you are wise isn’t wisdom. Twisting the truth to make yourselves sound wise isn’t wisdom.

15 It’s the furthest thing from wisdom — it’s animal cunning, devilish conniving. 16 Whenever you’re trying to look better than others or get the better of others, things fall apart and everyone ends up at the others’ throats.

17 Real wisdom, God’s wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced.

18 You can develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity and honor.  MSG

James 1:5 The only thing you could possibly lack is wisdom. However, make your request in such a way that you draw directly from the source. God is the origin and the author of wisdom; he intertwined your thoughts with good judgment. His gifts are available to all, without regret. Mirror

James 1:5 If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. AMP

Col 2:3 In Him all the treasures of [divine] wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden.

4 I say this in order that no one may mislead and delude you by plausible and persuasive and attractive arguments and beguiling speech.  AMP

Col 2:3 All the richest treasures of wisdom and knowledge are embedded in that mystery and nowhere else. And we’ve been shown the mystery!

4 I’m telling you this because I don’t want anyone leading you off on some wild-goose chase, after other so-called mysteries, or “the Secret.”

5 I’m a long way off, true, and you may never lay eyes on me, but believe me, I’m on your side, right beside you. I am delighted to hear of the careful and orderly ways you conduct your affairs, and impressed with the solid substance of your faith in Christ.   MSG

COL 2 :3 Everything that could possibly define our wealth is 1hidden in him. In Christ the complete

ROM 11:33-36   I am overwhelmed by the limitless extent of the wealth of God’s wisdom and the perfection of his knowledge. How we have failed to explore or fathom the conclusion of his resolve! In our clumsy efforts to find him, we have completely lost track of God.

34 Who inspired his thought? Who sat in council with him?

35 Is God indebted to anyone?

36 Everything originates in him; finds both its authentic expression and ultimate conclusion in him. His opinion rules the ages. We cannot but agree with our yes and awe. Amen.  MIRROR

James 3:13-18 If you consider yourself to be wise and one who understands the ways of God, advertise it with a beautiful, fruitfullife guided by wisdom’s gentleness. Never brag or boast about what you’ve done and you’ll prove that you’re truly wise.

14 But if there is bitter jealousy or competition hiding in your heart, then don’t deny it and try to compensate for it by boasting and being phony.

15 For that has nothing to do with God’s heavenly wisdom but can best be described as the wisdom of this world, both selfishand devilish.

16 So wherever jealousyand selfishness are uncovered, you will also find many troublesand every kind of meanness.

17 But the wisdom from above is always pure, filled with peace, considerate and teachable  It is filled with loveand never displays prejudice or hypocrisy[i] in any form

18 and it always bears the beautiful harvest of righteousness! Good seeds of wisdom’s fruit will be planted with peaceful acts by those who cherish making peace. TPT

Romans 11:33-36 Who could ever wrap their minds around the riches of God, the depth of his wisdom, and the marvel of his perfect knowledge? Who could ever explain the wonder of his decisionsor search out the mysterious way he carries out his plans?

34 For who has discovered how the Lord thinks or is wise enough to be the one
to advise him in his plans?

35 Or: “Who has ever first given something to God that obligates God to owe him something in return?”

36 For out of him, the sustainer of everything, came everything, and now everything finds fulfillment in him. May all praise and honor be given to him forever! Amen!  TPT

1 Corth 1:20-25 So where is the wise philosopher who understands? Where is the expert scholar who comprehends? And where is the skilled debater of our time who could win a debate with God? Hasn’t God demonstrated that the wisdom of this world system is utter foolishness?

21 For in his wisdom, God designed that all the world’s wisdom would be insufficient to lead people to the discovery of himself. He took great delight in baffling the wisdom of the world by using the simplicity of preaching the story of the crossin order to save those who believe it.

22 For the Jews constantly demand to see miraculous signs, while those who are not Jewsconstantly cling to the world’s wisdom,

23 but we preach the crucified Messiah. The Jews stumble over him and the rest of the world sees him as foolishness.

24 But for those who have been chosen to follow him, both Jews and Greeks, he is God’s mighty power, God’s true wisdom, and our Messiah.

25 For the “foolish” things of God have proven to be wiser than human wisdom. And the “feeble” things of God have proven to be far more powerful than any human ability. TPT

1 Corth 1:30-31  Of God’s doing are we in Christ. He is both the genesis and genius of our wisdom; a wisdom that reveals how righteous, sanctified and redeemed we already are in him.

1 Corth 1:30-31 For it is not from man that we draw our life but from God as we are being joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. 1 Corth 2:1-9  My brothers and sisters, when I first came to proclaim to you the secretsof God, I refused to come as an expert, trying to impress you with my eloquent speech and lofty wisdom.

For while I was with you I was determined to be consumed with one topic—Jesus, the crucified Messiah.

I stood before you feeling inadequate, filled with reverence for God, and trembling under the sense of the importance of my words.

The message I preached and how I preached it was not an attempt to sway you with persuasive arguments but to prove to you the almighty power of God’s Holy Spirit.

For God intended that your faith not be established on man’s wisdom but by trusting in his almighty power.

Wisdom from God

However, there is a wisdom that we continually speak of when we are among the spiritually mature. It’s wisdom that didn’t originate in this present age, nor did it come from the rulers of this age who are in the process of being dethroned. Instead, wecontinually speak of this wonderful wisdom that comes from God, hidden before now in a mystery.[ It is his secret plan, destinedbefore the ages, to bring us into glory.

None of the rulers of this present world order understood it, for if they had, they never would have crucified the Lord of shining glory.

This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine— these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers.  TPT

PRAYER WITH CONFIDENCE 4-16-2021

PRAYER WITH CONFIDENCE 4-16-21

When we pray we are supposed to expect an answer to our prayer. The Father wants to know he is answering and wants us to have joy. Do not just hope to receive believe you will. Praying in Jesus name means to pray with his character. In the old testament the word “names” means character, honor and authority to pray like Jesus prayed with the confidence that he was heard and of the results. He demonstrated God’s character. We actually pray with him. What is Jesus nature; loving, kind, righteous confidently determined. Jesus change the atmosphere of the temple. Jesus prayed with the Spirit and received everything he would ever need in this natural realm. This is what it means to have a life of prayer. Jesus had a lot alone time with the Father.

7 When you pray, there is no need to repeat empty phrases, praying like the Gentiles do, for they expect God to hear them because of their many words.

8 There is no need to imitate them, since your Father already knows what you need before you ask him.

10 Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is in heaven.

Acts 13:32 “And we’re here today bringing you good news: the Message that what God promised the fathers

33 has come true for the children — for us! He raised Jesus, exactly as described in the second Psalm: My Son! My very own Son! Today I celebrate you!

34 “When he raised him from the dead, he did it for good — no going back to that rot and decay for him. That’s why Isaiah said, ‘I’ll give to all of you David’s guaranteed blessings.’

ACTS 13:32-35 So here we are to share with you some wonderful news! The promise God made to our forefathers

33 has now been fulfilled for us, their children. For God has raised Jesus from the dead, as it says in Psalms: ‘Today I reveal you as my Son, and I as your Father.’

34 “God had promised to not let him decay in the tomb or face destruction again, so God raised him from the dead. He gave this promise in the Psalms: ‘I will give to you what I gave to David: Faithful merciesthat you can trust.’

35 “He explains it further in another Psalm: ‘You will not allow your holy one to experience bodily decay. TPT

1 COR 15:16 If the dead aren’t raised up, that would mean that Christ has not been raised up either.

17 And if Christ is not alive, you are still lost in your sins and your faith is a fantasy.

18 It would also mean that those believers in Christ who have passed awayhave simply perished.

19 If the only benefit of our hope in Christ is limited to this life on earth, we deserve to be pitied more than all others!

20 But the truth is, Christ is risen from the dead, as the firstfruitof a great resurrection harvest of those who have died.

21 For since death came through a man, Adam, it is fitting that the resurrection of the dead has also come through a man, Christ.

22 Even as all who are in Adam die, so also all who are in Christ will be made alive.  TPT  ▼▼▼

1 Cor 15:16  If there is no global resurrection from the dead and there can be no individual resurrection from the dead; then Jesus did not really rise from the dead.

17 And if Jesus is still dead your faith has no relevance and you are still in your sins.

18 No resurrection implies no hope for anyone beyond the grave; it makes no difference whether you believed that you were included in Christ death or not.

19 If our hope in Christ was restricted to only benefit us in this life then imagine the severity of our disappointment if it all had to come to an abrupt end when we died.

20 However this very moment the risen Christ represents everyone who has ever died; exactly like the first fruit represents the complete harvest.

21 The same humanity who died in a man was raised again in a man.

22 In Adam all died; in Christ all are made alive. Mirror

US TOO  EPH 2:4 None of this could distract from the extravagant love of God; he continued to love us with the exact same intensity.

5 This is how grace rescued us: sin left us dead towards God, like spiritual corpses; yet in that state of deadness and indifference, God co-quickened us together with Christ. Sin proved how dead we were. Grace reveals how alive we now are. Before anyone but God believed it, he made us alive together with him and raised us up together with him. Mirror

Phil 3:10-11. Oh to comprehend the dynamic of his resurrection! His resurrection is evidence of our righteousness! In the revelation of God‘s economy of inclusion, I actually co-suffered with him and co-died together with Christ!

1 Cor 15:45-49. It is recorded in scripture how the first Adam became a living soul; the last Adam is a life radiating spirit.

46 Physical life is the platform for spiritual life.

47 Human life was reduced to slavery and the soul-ruled earthly realm through Adam’s fall but is now awakened to Lordship in the heavenly realm of spiritual realities through the knowledge of our co-resurrection with Christ.

48 The reduced state of the individual left its mark on mankind as being earthly; now the redeemed state of mankind confirms their origin in God and marks their new heavenly life.

47 The first man was from the dust of the earth; the second Man is Yahweh, from the realm of heaven.

48 The first one, made from dust, has a race of people just like him, who are also made from dust. The One sent from heaven has a race of heavenly people who are just like him.

ROM 5:10-11 So if while we were still enemies, God fully reconciledus to himself through the death of his Son, then something greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, and because we share in his resurrection life, how much more we will be rescued from sin’s dominion!

11 And even more than that, we overflow with triumphant joyin our new relationship of living reconciled to God—all because of Jesus Christ!  TPT

Ro 8:33-39. God has identified us, who can disqualify us? His word is our origin. No one can point a finger; he declared us innocent.

34 What further ground can they possibly be to condemn mankind? In his death he faced our judgment; in his resurrection he reveals our righteousness; the implications cannot be undone! He now occupies the highest seat of authority as the executive of our redemption in the throne room of God.

35 What will it take to distance us from the love of Christ? You name any potential calamity: intense pressure of the worst possible kind, clausterphobia, persecution, destitution, loneliness, extreme exposure, life-threatening danger, or war?

36 Let me quote Scripture to remind you, “Because of our association with you, we were reckoned as sheep to be slaughtered; we have been jointly slain on that day.

37 On the contrary, in the thick of these things are triumph remains beyond dispute. His love has placed us above the reach of any onslaught.

38 This is my conviction; no threat whether it be in death or life; be it angelic messengers, demon powers or political principalities, nothing known to us at this time, or even in the unknown future;

39 no dimension of any calculation in time or space, nor any device yet to be invented, has what it takes to separate us from the love of God demonstrated in Christ. The Lordship of Jesus Christ is our ultimate authority. Mirror

THE BLOOD THE CROSS 4-2-21

THE BLOOD THE CROSS  4-2-21 VIDEO LAMB OF GOD SACRIFICED 2

Blood represents life. Without blood there can be no life. There is a cost associated with the blood sacrifice it is the life of the one sacrifice. The Father gave the life physical and spiritual of his Son to pay the price for the sin of mankind. The blood represents freedom from bondage. The importance of the blood is that it transports oxygen from the lungs to all the tissues in the body. It absorbs and transports heat throughout the body. Blood is a mixture of plasma and blood cells. Jesus gave the sacrifice of his blood for all mankind. His blood opens the portals of heaven.

Ex 12:13-14 The blood shall be for a token or sign to you upon [the doorposts of] the houses where you are, [that] when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague shall be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt.

14 And this day shall be to you for a memorial. You shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations, keep it as an ordinance forever.   AMP

Rom 5:7-9. It is most unlikely that someone would die for another person, Even if they are righteous; yet it is remotely possible that someone can brave such devotion that one would actually lay down ones on life in an effort to save the life of an extraordinary good person.

8 Hearing is the extremity of God’s love gift: mankind was rotten to the core with Christ died their death.

9. If God could love us that much when we were ungodly and guilty how much more are we free to realize his love now that we are declared innocent by his blood? Mirror

HEB 9:12-14 And he has entered once and forever into the Holiest Sanctuary of All, not with the blood of animal sacrifices, but the sacred blood of his own sacrifice. And he alone has made our salvationsecure forever!

13 Under the old covenant the blood of bulls, goats, and the ashes of a heifer were sprinkled on those who were defiled and effectively cleansed them outwardly from their ceremonial impurities.

14 Yet how much more will the sacred blood of the Messiah thoroughly cleanse our consciences! For by the power of the eternal Spirit he has offered himself to God as the perfectSacrifice that now freesus from our dead worksto worship and serve the living God. TPT

Heb 7:27. Unlike the previous high priests whose system of daily sacrifices was a constant reminder of their own failures, he had no need to sacrifice on his own behalf. The sacrifice he offered was himself for all; a sacrifice never to be repeated. Mirror

PUT AWAY-Cancellation – disannulling, to thwart the efficacy of anything, to nullify, to frustrate it, rejected, to make void

HEB 10:19-20 And now we are brothers and sisters in God’s family because of the blood of Jesus, and he welcomes us to come into the most holy sanctuary in the heavenly realm—boldly and without hesitation.

Or “sprinkle many nations” or “Many nations will marvel at him”. The words startle and sprinkle share a homonymic root. The idea is that Jesus would sprinkle to cleanse many with his redeeming blood and also that he would startle the nations with his resurrection power and endless life.

THE MIRACLE OF LIGHT-THE POWER OF LIGHT  3-28-21

The most powerful and creative work of God is light all the miraculous begin with the command of God. Light is not the light of the sun the moon or the stars but calling down of the Lord of glory upon the planet, that was without form and void. Earth. Chosen in the midst of the universe of stars planets and heavenly bodies. Light is always associated with good or goodness because it is sourced is God.  Light gives spiritual life. Only light can produce living works. Dead works don’t produce anything.  Light protects kind of like a vaccination. Jesus told us to become children of the light. We know the future because we are of the light. We’ve been given spiritual light not of this world. We are a light to the nations.

Our confident conversation echoes this fellowship even in the face of crisis; because, as he is, so are we in this world, our lives are mirrored in him. We are as blameless in this life as Jesus is! STOP BEGGING GOD 3-26-21

“Stop begging God.”  3-26-2021

He already loves you and is totally invested in helping you. No strings attached. We think if I praise Him enough, thank Him enough, pray to Him enough I will receive what I need. No this is paying a wage earning some thing. It’s not through having zeal that we receive the promises of God but through grace. Paul’s confession; he had great religious teachings but that did not make him who he was to be. When we pray the Father hears us not  because we’ve gained a secret formula in prayer but because our Father loves us. He makes grace come our way. Our worth is defended by his gift not by our behavior. So we do not preach works we preach Christ and by his grace we receive every gift and promise no giving up.

Ps 37:25 I have been young and now am old, yet have I not seen the [uncompromisingly] righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread. AMP

PS 37:25 I was once inexperienced, but now I’m old. Not once have I found a lover of God forsaken by him, nor have any of their children gone hungry.  TPT

Rom 8:28-34. Meanwhile we know that the love of God causes everything to mutually contribute to our advantage. His master plan is announced in our original identity.

29 He predestined and engineered us from the start to be jointly fashioned in the same mold an image of his Son according to the exact blueprint of his thought. We see the original and intended pattern of our lives preserved and his Son. He is the first born from the same womb that reveals our genesis. He confirms that we are the invention of God.

30. Jesus reveals that we pre-existed in God; He defined us. He rendered us innocent and also adorned us with splendor and esteem.

31. All these things pointed to one conclusion, God is for us! Who can prevail against us?

32 The gift of his Son is irrefutable evidence of God’s heart towards us. He had nothing in reserve; but freely gave everything we could ever wish to have; this is what our joint sonship is all about.

33 God has identified us, who can disqualify us? His word is our origin. No one can point a finger; he declared us innocent.

34 What further ground can there possibly be to condemn mankind? In his death he faced our judgment; in his resurrection he reveals our righteousness; the implications cannot be undone! He now occupies the highest seat of authority as the executive of our redemption in the throne room of God. Mirror

Ro 3:24. While the law proved mankind‘s dilemma, the grace of God announced the same mankind‘s redemption in Jesus Christ! Their blameless innocence is a free gift! The gift principal puts the idea reward out of business! There is no exception, this belongs to every single person, Jew and Gentile alike! Mankind‘s righteousness is now redeemed. Jesus Christ is a proof of God’s grace gift; he redeemed the glory of God in human life; mankind condemned in the language of religion, is now mankind justified in the language of the gospel! Mirror

Ro 4:3-6. Scripture is clear, “Abraham believed what God believed about him and that concluded his righteousness.“

4 There is a large difference between a reward and a gift: if you have earned some thing through hard-work, what you receive in return is your due and certainly not a gift.

5 It is clear than that someone who believes that God declares the ungodly innocent understands that it is faith and not our toil that accounts for righteousness.

6 David confirms his principal when he speaks of the blessedness of the one who discovers Gods approval without any reference to something specific that they have done to qualify themselves. Mirror

▼▼▼

Rom 4:3 What we read in Scripture is, “Abraham entered into what God was doing for him, and that was the turning point. He trusted God to set him right instead of trying to be right on his own.”

4 If you’re a hard worker and do a good job, you deserve your pay; we don’t call your wages a gift.

5 But if you see that the job is too big for you, that it’s something only God can do, and you trust him to do it — you could never do it for yourself no matter how hard and long you worked — well, that trusting-him-to-do-it is what gets you set right with God, by God. Sheer gift.

6 David confirms this way of looking at it, saying that the one who trusts God to do the putting-everything-right without insisting on having a say in it is one fortunate man:MSG

Rom 5:15 But God’s free gift is not at all to be compared to the trespass [His grace is out of all proportion to the fall of man]. For if many died through one man’s falling away (his lapse, his offense), much more profusely did God’s grace and the free gift [that comes] through the undeserved favor of the one Man Jesus Christ abound and overflow to and for [the benefit of] many.

16 Nor is the free gift at all to be compared to the effect of that one [man’s] sin. For the sentence [following the trespass] of one [man] brought condemnation, whereas the free gift [following] many transgressions brings justification (an act of righteousness).

17 For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).  AMP

Rom 11:6. Grace cannot suggest debt or obligation at the same time. The word grace can only mean what it says. The same argument goes for mankind’s good

works; if salvation or any advantage for that matter is to be obtained according to the prescribed regulations of conduct, then that’s it. No amount of Grace can change the rules! Grace means grace and work means work. Mirror

Rom 9:31 Whereas Israel, though ever in pursuit of a law [for the securing] of righteousness (right standing with God), actually did not succeed in fulfilling the Law.

John 1:14. Suddenly the invisible, eternal Word takes on visible form– the incarnation, on display in a flesh and blood person, as in a mirror! In him and now confirmed in us! The most accurate tangible exhibit of God‘s eternal thought finds expression in human life! The word became a human being; we are his address; he resides in us! He captivates our gaze! The glory we see there is not a religious replica; He is the authentic begotten Son. The glory returns in fullness! Only grace can communicate truth in such a complete context! Mirror

Jn 1:16-17. He is the source of our completeness. Everyone may now realize their own completeness as evidenced in him. This Is grace mirrored and grace!

6 We are co-included in his resurrection. We are also Co-elevated in his ascension to be equally present in the throne room of the heavenly realm where we are co-seated with him in his exclusive authority. We are fully represented in Christ Jesus.

7. Imagine how God Is now able for timeless perpetuity to exhibit the trophy of the wealth of his grace demonstrated his kindness towards us in Christ Jesus. Grace exhibits excessive evidence of the success of the cross.

FAITH IS LIVING 3-14-2021  VIDEO

What is coming? What’s on the way is a faith revival for the church. We will have faith for the totally completely impossible. People say, “I have all the faith in the world”. Not true you only need as much as a grain of a mustard seed if it is God‘s faith. Our faith is not a thought or an idea. It is living, it is a life, it is Jesus. When the 10 men with leprosy were healed, only one of them when he realized he was healed came to show his gratefulness. His faith in Jesus made him totally whole. In the storms of life, we can’t mentally make things happen. Our faith must be living, settled completely in Jesus Christ. In Jesus hometown, he didn’t do many miracles because they could not have faith in him as the Messiah. With the woman with the issue of blood, did she believe his robe to  heal her or Jesus? She had faith in Jesus. These people who were healed or raised up from the dead, did not have any confidence in their ability to believe. Their confidence was in Jesus. They have a living faith in them.

Luke 17:6 And the Lord answered, If you had faith (trust and confidence in God) even [so small] like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, Be pulled up by the roots, and be planted in the sea, and it would obey you.  AMP

Matt 17:20 He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of firmly relying trust]. ROM 1:17 This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness—a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith. This is what the Scripture means when it says: “We are right with God through life-giving faith”   TPT

HEB 12:2-3 We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectationonto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!

So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures.   TPT

55 Isn’t he just the craftsman’s son? Isn’t his mother named Mary, and his four brothers Jacob, Joseph, Simon, and Judah?

56 And don’t his sisters all live here in Nazareth? From where then did he get all this revelation and power?”

57 And the people became offended and began to turn against him.

Jesus said, “There’s only one place a prophet isn’t honored—his own hometown!” 58 And their unbelief kept him from doing many mighty miracles in Nazareth. TPT

Mark 5:35-43 While he was still talking, some people came from the leader’s house and told him, “Your daughter is dead. Why bother the Teacher any more?”

37 He permitted no one to go in with him except Peter, James, and John.

38 They entered the leader’s house and pushed their way through the gossips looking for a story and neighbors bringing in casseroles.

39 Jesus was abrupt: “Why all this busybody grief and gossip? This child isn’t dead; she’s sleeping.”

40 Provoked to sarcasm, they told him he didn’t know what he was talking about. But when he had sent them all out, he took the child’s father and mother, along with his companions, and entered the child’s room.

41 He clasped the girl’s hand and said, “Talitha koum,” which means, “Little girl, get up.”

Rom 3:3-4. The question is, how does someone’s failure to believe God affect what God believes? Can their unbelief cancel Gods faith?

4 God‘s word is not under threat! In fact if all mankind fails, truth remains intact. Truth is defined in God; it’s neither challenged nor vindicated by human experience. Contradiction does not intimidate or diminish the faith of God. Scripture records that God stands justified in his own word; it confirms that God’s promise and purpose are not compromised by mankind’s failure; neither is God’s reputation threatened by our behavior.
