RESURRECTION

RESURRECTION-POWER 11-20-2020

Power is inner strength or ability that does not depend on outward things. Resurrection power is the ability to bring what is dead back to life. Not just in a small way but in a supernatural amazing beyond natural comprehension. Jesus rose people from the dead during his ministry. Even in the old testament people were raised from the dead but there was something unique about Jesus and his resurrection power. One that stood in for many. Because the veil which is symbolic of our access to God was torn in half meaning neither death nor sin nor sickness can separate us from God. The way is wide open. The resurrection of Jesus was not only his body but his spirit and soul. Death was defeated completely.

Matt 27:51 And at once the curtain of the sanctuary of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; the earth shook and the rocks were split.

52 The tombs were opened and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep in death were raised [to life];  AMP

▼▼▼

Matt 27:51 At that moment, the Temple curtain was ripped in two, top to bottom. There was an earthquake, and rocks were split in pieces.

52 What’s more, tombs were opened up, and many bodies of believers asleep in their graves were raised.   MSG

▼▼▼

MATT 27:51-52 At that moment the veil in the Holy of Holies was torn in two from the top to the bottom. The earth shook violently, rocks were split apart,

52 and graves were opened. Then many of the holy ones who had died were brought back to life and came out of their graves.  TPT

Acts 13:33 This He has completely fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus, as it is written in the second psalm, You are My Son; today I have begotten You [caused You to arise, to be born; formally shown You to be the Messiah by the resurrection].  AMP

Rom 8:11 And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you. AMP

▼▼▼

Rom 8:11 It stands to reason, doesn’t it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he’ll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s! MSG

▼▼▼

RO 8:11 Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, he will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you!TPT

RO 5:10 So if while we were still enemies, God fully reconciledus to himself through the death of his Son, then something greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, and because we share in his resurrection life, how much more we will be rescued from sin’s dominion! TPT

▼▼▼

Rom 5:10  If, when we were at our worst, we were put on friendly terms with God by the sacrificial death of his Son, now that we’re at our best, just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of his resurrection life!  MSG

RO 5:12-17 When Adam sinned, the entire world was affected. Sin entered human experience, and death was the result. And so death followed this sin, casting its shadow over all humanity, because all have sinned.

13 Sin was in the world before Moses gave the written law, but it was not charged against them where no law existed.

14 Yet death reignedas king from Adam to Moses even though they hadn’t broken a command the way Adam had. The first man, Adam, was a pictureof the Messiah, who was to come.

15 Now, there is no comparison between Adam’s transgression and the gracious gift that we experience. For the magnitude of the gift far outweighs the crime. It’s true that many died because of one man’s transgression, but how much greater will God’s grace and his gracious gift of acceptance overflowto many because of what one Man, Jesus, the Messiah, did for us!

16 And this free-flowing gift imparts to us much more than what was given to us through the one who sinned. For because of one transgression, we are all facing a death sentence with a verdict of “Guilty!” But this gracious gift leaves us free from our many failuresand brings us into the perfect righteousness of God—acquitted with the words “Not guilty!”

17 Death once held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one man, death reigned as king over humanity. But now, how much moreare we held in the grip of grace and continue reigning as kings in life, enjoying our regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousnessin the one and only Jesus, the Messiah!   TPT

RO 7:4 So, my dear brothers and sisters, the same principle applies to your relationship with God. For you died to your first husband, the law, by being co-crucified with the body of the Messiah. So you are now free to “marry” another—the one who was raised from the dead so that you may now bear spiritual fruitfor God. TPT

RO 8:15-17 And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!”

16 For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!”

17 And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferingsas our own.TPT ▼▼▼

Rom 8:15-17 This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?”

16 God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children.

17 And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us — an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him!  MSG

2 Cor 5:15 He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.

16 Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore.

17 Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it!  MSG

Col 3:1 IF THEN you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. AMP

▼▼▼

Col 3:1  So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. MSG

▼▼▼

COL 3:1  Christ’s resurrection is your resurrection too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for that’s where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authorityTPT

1 John 4:17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world. AMP

Phil 3:8  Yes, all the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my Master, firsthand, everything I once thought I had going for me is insignificant — dog dung. I’ve dumped it all in the trash so that I could embrace Christ

9 and be embraced by him. I didn’t want some petty, inferior brand of righteousness that comes from keeping a list of rules when I could get the robust kind that comes from trusting Christ — God’s righteousness.

10 I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself.

11 If there was any way to get in on the resurrection from the dead, I wanted to do it.  MSG

▼▼▼

PHIL 3:8-11 To truly know him meant letting go of everything from my past and throwing all my boasting on the garbage heap. It’s all like a pile of manure to me now, so that I may be enriched in the reality of knowing Jesus Christ and embrace him as Lord in all of his greatness.

My passion is to be consumed with him and not clinging to my own “righteousness” based in keeping the written Law. My “righteousness” will be his, based on the faithfulness of Jesus Christ—the very righteousness that comes from God.

10 And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus more fully and to experience the overflowing power of his resurrection working in me. I will be one with him in his sufferings and I will be one with him in his death.

11 Only then will I be able to experience complete oneness with him in his resurrection from the realm of death.  TPT

JN 11:24-26 She replied, “Yes, I know he will rise with everyone else on resurrection day.”

25 “Martha,” Jesus said, “You don’t have to wait until then. I amthe Resurrection, and I am Life Eternal. Anyone who clings to me in faith, even though he dies, will live forever.

26 And the one who lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” TPT

ACTS 2:29-32 “My fellow Jews, I can tell you there is no doubt that our noted patriarch has both died and been buried in his tomb, which remains to this day. So you can see that he was not referring to himself with those words.

30 But as a prophet, he knew God’s faithful promise, made with God’s unbreakable oath, that one of his descendants would take his throne.

31 So when peering into the future, David prophesiedof the Messiah’s resurrection. And God revealed to him that the Messiah would not be abandoned to the realm of death, nor would his body experience decay.

32 “Can’t you see it? God has resurrected Jesus, and we all have seen him! TPT

Rom 1:4 his unique identity as Son of God was shown by the Spirit when Jesus was raised from the dead, setting him apart as the Messiah, our Master.

5 Through him we received both the generous gift of his life and the urgent task of passing it on to others who receive it by entering into obedient trust in Jesus.

6 You are who you are through this gift and call of Jesus Christ!   MSG

Rom 6:4  When we are lowered into the water, it is like the burial of Jesus; when we are raised up out of the water, it is like the resurrection of Jesus.

5 Each of us is raised into a light-filled world by our Father so that we can see where we’re going in our new grace-sovereign country.  MSG

▼▼▼

RO 6:4-5 Sharing in his death by our baptism means that we were co-buried and entombed with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him. We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to walk in the freshness of new life.

For since we are permanently grafted into himto experience a death like his, then we are permanently grafted into him to experience a resurrection like his and the new life that it imparts. TPT

JN 6:39-40 My Father who sent me has determined that I will not lose even one of those he has given to me, and I will raise them up in the last day.

40 For the longing of my Father is that everyone who embraces the Sonand believes in him will experience eternal life and I will raise them up in the last day!”  TPT

Col 2:12 [Thus you were circumcised when] you were buried with Him in [your] baptism, in which you were also raised with Him [to a new life] through [your] faith in the working of God [as displayed] when He raised Him up from the dead.  AMP

1 Peter 1:3 What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for,

4 including a future in heaven — and the future starts now!

5 God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all — life healed and whole.  MSG

TRUSTING GOD IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES 11-15-2020

TRUSTING GOD IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES 11-15-2020

VIDEO WE CAN TRUST HIM

Circumstances are conditions that are connected to achieving a certain action. Conditions and circumstances can change they are not a state of being.

Trusting is the assurance that the one you trust in is reliable, safe, and able to bring to pass what you have put in their hands. Also it means loyalty no matter what the circumstance may show.

Ps 112:7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firmly fixed, trusting (leaning on and being confident) in the Lord.

8 His heart is established and steady, he will not be afraid while he waits to see his desire established upon his adversaries.  AMP

▼▼▼

Ps 112:7  Unfazed by rumor and gossip, Heart ready, trusting in God,

8 Spirit firm, unperturbed, Ever blessed, relaxed among enemies,  MSG

Isa 30:15 For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning [to Me] and resting [in Me] you shall be saved; in quietness and in [trusting] confidence shall be your strength. But you would not,  AMP

Heb 10:22  We Are free to approach God with absolute confidence, fully persuaded in our hearts that nothing can any longer separate us.  We are invited to draw near now! We are thoroughly cleanse, inside and out, with no trace of sin stains on our conscience or conduct. The sprinkled blood purges our inner thought patterns; our bodies also bathed in clean water. Mirror

2 Cor 1:9 Indeed, we felt within ourselves that we had received the [very] sentence of death, but that was to keep us from trusting in and depending on ourselves instead of on God Who raises the dead.

10 [For it is He] Who rescued and saved us from such a perilous death, and He will still rescue and save us; in and on Him we have set our hope (our joyful and confident expectation) that He will again deliver us [from danger and destruction and draw us to Himself],  AMP

▼▼▼

2 Cor 1:9  We felt like we’d been sent to death row, that it was all over for us. As it turned out, it was the best thing that could have happened. Instead of trusting in our own strength or wits to get out of it, we were forced to trust God totally — not a bad idea since he’s the God who raises the dead!

10 And he did it, rescued us from certain doom. And he’ll do it again, rescuing us as many times as we need rescuing.  MSG

 ▼▼▼

2 Cor 1:8-9 We want you to know that we are not exaggerating the extreme contradictions and sufferings that we face in Asia! We were weighed down with the enormous persecution beyond any measure of endurance; we really thought that we were going to die!

9 We came to terms within ourselves with the fact that we were on death row; there was no escape except our belief that God could raise us from the dead. Mirror

PS 56:3-4 But in the day that I’m afraid, I lay all my fears before you and trust in you with all my heart.
What harm could a man bring to me? With God on my side I will not be afraid of what comes. The roaring praises of God fill my heart, and I will always triumph as I trust his promises.  TPT

Gal 3:5 Then does He Who supplies you with His marvelous [Holy] Spirit and works powerfully and miraculously among you do so on [the grounds of your doing] what the Law demands, or because of your believing in and adhering to and trusting in and relying on the message that you heard?

6 Thus Abraham believed in and adhered to and trusted in and relied on God, and it was reckoned and placed to his account and credited as righteousness (as conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action).

7 Know and understand that it is [really] the people [who live] by faith who are [the true] sons of Abraham.  AMP

▼▼▼

Gal 3:5 Answer this question: Does the God who lavishly provides you with his own presence, his Holy Spirit, working things in your lives you could never do for yourselves, does he do these things because of your strenuous moral striving or because you trust him to do them in you?

6 Don’t these things happen among you just as they happened with Abraham? He believed God, and that act of belief was turned into a life that was right with God.

7 Is it not obvious to you that persons who put their trust in Christ (not persons who put their trust in the law!) are like Abraham: children of faith?  MSG

 ▼▼▼

Gal 3:5-7 Would you acredit what you have received from God to some thing you did or something you’ve heard? Did God reward you for your high moral standards when he worked extravagant miracles in you and lavished his spirit upon you; or did it perhaps have anything to do with the content of the revelation of the message of grace that you have heard? Faith is a source of God’s action on mankind behalf; our hearing is the conduit of what God‘s faith reveals. Abraham had no other claim to righteousness but simply believing what God declared concerning him! Isaac confirm God‘s faith, not Abraham’s efforts. This is all we have in common with Abraham. The conclusion is clear faith and not flesh relates us to Abraham. Mirror

Ps 5:11  But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits.  AMP

Ps 20:7 Some trust in and boast of chariots and some of horses, but we will trust in and boast of the name of the Lord our God.  AMP

PS 20:7 Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom, but my miracle deliverance can never be won by men. Our boast is in the Lord our God, who makes us strong and gives us victory!  TPT

Ps 37:40 And the Lord helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they trust and take refuge in Him. AMP

PS 52:8 But I am like a flourishing olive tree, anointed in the house of God. I trust in the unending love of God; his passion toward me is forever and ever. TPT

Ps 62:8 Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!  AMP

Ps 91:2  I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!

3 For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.

4 [Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.

5 You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day,

6 Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.

8 Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,

10 There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent.

11 For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].  AMP

▼▼▼

PS 91:2 He’s the hope that holds me and the Stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence.
He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse.
His massive armsare wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm.
You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you.
Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil launched against you.
Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed, you will remain unscathed and unharmed.
you will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done!
9–10 When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us?
11 God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm.  TPT

Isa 43:4 That’s how much you mean to me! That’s how much I love you! I’d sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the creation just for you.   MSG

PS 118:8-9 Lord, it is so much better to trust in you to save me than to put my confidence in someone else.

Yes, it is so much better to trust in the Lord to save me than to put my confidence in celebrities. TPT

going from timidity to boldness 11-13-2020

GOING FROM TIMIDITY TO BOLDNESS  11-13-2020 video faith vs fear

Timidity is fear unknown, or unfamiliar, being hesitant, lacking in self assurance. Boldness is the opposite it means willingness to take risks, to act an innovatively,  confidence opposite of fear.

Prov 28:1 THE WICKED flee when no man pursues them, but the [uncompromisingly] righteous are bold as a lion.

2 When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but when the ruler is a man of discernment, understanding, and knowledge, its stability will long continue.  AMP

▼▼▼

Prov 28:1-2 The wicked are edgy with guilt, ready to run off even when no one’s after them; Honest people are relaxed and confident, bold as lions.

2 When the country is in chaos, everybody has a plan to fix it —  But it takes a leader of real understanding to straighten things out.  MSG

Acts 4:13-14 Now when they saw the boldness and unfettered eloquence of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned and untrained in the schools [common men with no educational advantages], they marveled; and they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

14 And since they saw the man who had been cured standing there beside them, they could not contradict the fact or say anything in opposition.  AMP

▼▼▼

Acts 4:13 They couldn’t take their eyes off them — Peter and John standing there so confident, so sure of themselves! Their fascination deepened when they realized these two were laymen with no training in Scripture or formal education. They recognized them as companions of Jesus,

14 but with the man right before them, seeing him standing there so upright — so healed! — what could they say against that?   MSG

 ▼▼▼

ACTS 4:13-14 The council members were astonished as they witnessed the bold courageof Peter and John, especially when they discovered that they were just ordinary men who had never had religious training. Then they began to understand the effect Jesus had on them simply by spending time with him.

14 Standing there with them was the healed man, and there was nothing further they could say. TPT

2 Tim 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.  AMP

▼▼▼

2 Tim 1:7 God doesn’t want us to be shy with his gifts, but bold and loving and sensible.  MSG

2 Tim 1:7 for God did not give to us a spirit of fearfulness but of power and of a divine and self-sacrificial love and of a sound mind. WUEST

Acts 4:29 And now, Lord, observe their threats and grant to Your bond servants [full freedom] to declare Your message fearlessly,

30 While You stretch out Your hand to cure and to perform signs and wonders through the authority and by the power of the name of Your holy Child and Servant Jesus.

31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage.  AMP

ACTS 4:29-31 So now, Lord, listen to their threats to harm us. Empower us, as your servants, to speak the word of God freely and courageously.

30 Stretch out your hand of power through us to heal, and to move in signs and wonders by the name of your holy Son, Jesus!”

John 19:10  So Pilate said to Him, Will You not speak [even] to me? Do You not know that I have power (authority) to release You and I have power to crucify You?

11 Jesus answered, You would not have any power or authority whatsoever against (over) Me if it were not given you from above. For this reason the sin and guilt of the one who delivered Me over to you is greater. AMP

Phil 1:20 This is in keeping with my own eager desire and persistent expectation and hope, that I shall not disgrace myself nor be put to shame in anything; but that with the utmost freedom of speech and unfailing courage, now as always heretofore, Christ (the Messiah) will be magnified and get glory and praise in this body of mine and be boldly exalted in my person, whether through (by) life or through (by) death.  AMP

ONE WORD FROM GOD CHANGES EVERYTHING 11-8-2020

ONE WORD FROM GOD CHANGES EVERYTHING 11-8-2020

VIDEO AMENA GOD CHANGES EVERYTHING 2

One word from God changes everything. The word that God speaks always comes to pass. When he speaks these words they are filled with a self fulfilling power to do what He said that they will do. If God says it then I t will happen exactly as He said. You can try to say what you what your agenda is, but God will only do what He has decreed. Therefore we decree what He decrees. The word God spoke seems impossible at times but God speaks and it’s God who brings it to pass. We sometime get a word wrong from God because we know in part. But we can judge if it comes from God by the fact that it comes to pass. Sometimes we think it will happen immediately but we have the timing wrong.

PS 33:4 For God’s Word is something to sing about! He is true to his promises, his word can be trusted, and everything he does is reliable and right.
The Lord loves seeing justice on the earth. Anywhere and everywhere you can find his faithful, unfailing love!
All he had to do was speak by his Spirit-wind command, and God created the heavenlies. Filled with galaxies and stars, the vast cosmos he wonderfully made. TPT

PRO 30:5 Every promise from the faithful God is pure and proves to be true. He is a wrap-around shield of protection for all his lovers who run to hide in him. TPT

Prov 30:5 Every word of God is tried and purified; He is a shield to those who trust and take refuge in Him.  AMP

1 Peter 1:23-25  Your new life is not like your old life. Your old birth came from mortal sperm; your new birth comes from God’s living Word. Just think: a life conceived by God himself!

24 That’s why the prophet said, The old life is a grass life, its beauty as short-lived as wildflowers; Grass dries up, flowers droop,

25 God’s Word goes on and on forever. This is the Word that conceived the new life in you.  MSG

1 PET 1:23-25 Human beingsare frail and temporary, like grass, and the glory of man fleeting like blossoms of the field. The grass dries and withers and the flowers fall off,
25 but the Word of the Lord endures forever And this is the Wordthat was announced to you! TPT

Heb 4:12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

13 And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do.  AMP

▼▼▼

Heb 4:12-13 God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey.

13 Nothing and no one is impervious to God’s Word. We can’t get away from it — no matter what.  MSG

 ▼▼▼

HEB 4:12-13 For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, and it pierces more sharply than a two-edged sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, boneand marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts.

13 There is not one person who can hide their thoughts from God, for nothing that we do remains a secret, and nothing created is concealed, but everything is exposed and defenseless before his eyes, to whom we must render an account. TPT

2 COR 4:2 We reject every shameful cover-up and refuse to resort to cunning trickery or distorting the Word of God. Instead, we open up our souls to youby presenting the truth to everyone’s conscience in the sight and presence of God.  TPT

HEB 11:3 Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinatedby the power of God’s words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen. TPT

Gen 15:1 AFTER THESE things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, I am your Shield, your abundant compensation, and your reward shall be exceedingly great.

2 And Abram said, Lord God, what can You give me, since I am going on [from this world] childless and he who shall be the owner and heir of my house is this [steward] Eliezer of Damascus?

3 And Abram continued, Look, You have given me no child; and [a servant] born in my house is my heir.

4 And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, This man shall not be your heir, but he who shall come from your own body shall be your heir.

5 And He brought him outside [his tent into the starlight] and said, Look now toward the heavens and count the stars — if you are able to number them. Then He said to him, So shall your descendants be.  AMP

Gen 17:17 Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed and said in his heart, Shall a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a son?

18 And [he] said to God, Oh, that Ishmael might live before You!

19 But God said, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son indeed, and you shall call his name Isaac [laughter]; and I will establish My covenant or solemn pledge with him for an everlasting covenant and with his posterity after him.  AMP

Rom 4:19 Abraham didn’t focus on his own impotence and say, “It’s hopeless. This hundred-year-old body could never father a child.” Nor did he survey Sarah’s decades of infertility and give up.

20 He didn’t tiptoe around God’s promise asking cautiously skeptical questions. He plunged into the promise and came up strong, ready for God,

21 sure that God would make good on what he had said.

22 That’s why it is said, “Abraham was declared fit before God by trusting God to set him right.”

23 But it’s not just Abraham;

24 it’s also us! The same thing gets said about us when we embrace and believe the One who brought Jesus to life when the conditions were equally hopeless. MSG

A PEOPLE AFTER GOD’S HEART 11-5-2020

A PEOPLE AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART 11-6-2020

A new leadership. There’s a people who know their God, who are men and women with one purpose or goal to be after God‘s heart.

1 Sam 13:14 But now your kingdom shall not continue; the Lord has sought out [David] a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be prince and ruler over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.  AMP

ACTS 13:22 After removing him, God raised up David to be king, for God said of him, ‘I have found in David, son of Jesse, a man who always pursues my heartand will accomplish all that I have destined him to do. TPT

SOLOMON  1 Kings 3:9 “Here’s what I want: Give me a God-listening heart so I can lead your people well, discerning the difference between good and evil. For who on their own is capable of leading your glorious people?”  MSG

1 Chron 28:9 And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father [have personal knowledge of Him, be acquainted with, and understand Him; appreciate, heed, and cherish Him] and serve Him with a blameless heart and a willing mind. For the Lord searches all hearts and minds and understands all the wanderings of the thoughts. If you seek Him [inquiring for and of Him and requiring Him as your first and vital necessity] you will find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever!  AMP   ▼▼▼

1 Chron 28:9 “And you, Solomon my son, get to know well your father’s God; serve him with a whole heart and eager mind, for God examines every heart and sees through every motive. If you seek him, he’ll make sure you find him, but if you abandon him, he’ll leave you for good.   MSG

2 Chron 30:19 Who sets his heart to seek and yearn for God — the Lord, the God of his fathers — even though not complying with the purification regulations of the sanctuary.

20 And the Lord hearkened to Hezekiah and healed the people. AMP

Dan 10:12  Then he said to me, Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind and heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come as a consequence of [and in response to] your words.  AMP

Job 19:27  Whom I, even I, shall see for myself and on my side! And my eyes shall behold Him, and not as a stranger! My heart pines away and is consumed within me.

12 I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me.

13 Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward — to Jesus.

14 I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.

15 So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision — you’ll see it yet!

16 Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it.   MSG

 ▼▼▼

PHIL 3:8-16 To truly know him meant letting go of everything from my past and throwing all my boasting on the garbage heap.

12 I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose that Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover.

13 I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead.

14 I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.

15 So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them.

16 And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion.   TPT

Deut 4:29-31 But even there, if you seek God, your God, you’ll be able to find him if you’re serious, looking for him with your whole heart and soul.

30 When troubles come and all these awful things happen to you, in future days you will come back to God, your God, and listen obediently to what he says.

31 God, your God, is above all a compassionate God. In the end he will not abandon you, he won’t bring you to ruin, he won’t forget the covenant with your ancestors which he swore to them.   MSG

Jer 29:11  For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

THE BODY OF CHRIST EMPOWERED 11-1-2020

THE BODY OF CHRIST EMPOWERED 11-1-2020

When the Father sees the church He sees Christ. We are empowered, legally and spiritually to do everything Jesus did on earth just as it is in heaven. We are authorized, licensed, mandated, approved, credited, and sanctioned by the anointing. We have the greenlight, liberty, freedom, seal of approval, the go ahead, the commissioning, the permission to bring heaven to earth. Our credentials are that we come from the Father. It is not your gift God is empowering, it is you. Your identification in Christ

We could describe the ministry of Jesus to redeem all of creation into its original state a beauty. To be empowered for the rest of their lives. Empowered equals commission. It’s to do business in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Luke 4:16  So He came to Nazareth, [that Nazareth] where He had been brought up, and He entered the synagogue, as was His custom on the Sabbath day. And He stood up to read.

17 And there was handed to Him [the roll of] the book of the prophet Isaiah. He opened (unrolled) the book and found the place where it was written,

18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity],

19 To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound.]

20 Then He rolled up the book and gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were gazing [attentively] at Him.

21 And He began to speak to them: Today this Scripture has been fulfilled while you are present and hearing.

22 And all spoke well of Him and marveled at the words of grace that came forth from His mouth; and they said, Is not this Joseph’s Son?  AMP

LU 4:16-22 When he came to Nazareth, where he had been raised, he went into the synagogue, as he always did on the Sabbath day. When Jesus came to the front to read the Scriptures, they handed him the scroll of the prophet Isaiah. He unrolled the scroll and read where it is written,

18–19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hopefor the poor, freedom for the brokenhearted, and new eyesfor the blind, and to preach to prisoners,‘You are set free!’ I have come to share the message of Jubilee, for the time of God’s great acceptancehas begun.”

20 After he read this he rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the minister, and sat down. Everyone stared at Jesus, wondering what he was about to say.

21 Then he added, “These Scriptures came true today in front of you.”

22 Everyone was impressed by how well Jesus spoke, in awe of the beautiful words of grace that came from his lips. But they were surprised at his presumption to speak as a prophet, so they said among themselves, Who does he think he is? This is Joseph’s son, who grew up here in Nazareth.”

Isa 61:1-4 THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

3 To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion — to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit — that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

4 And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former desolations and renew the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations. AMP

ISA 61:1-4 he mighty Spirit of Lord Yahwehis wrapped around me because Yahweh has anointed me, as a messenger to preach good news to the poor. He sent me to heal the wounds of the brokenhearted, to tell captives, “You are free,”  and to tell prisoners, “Be free from your darkness.”
I am sent to announce a new seasonof Yahweh’s grace and a time of God’s recompense on his enemies  to comfort all who are in sorrow,
to strengthen those crushed by despair who mourn in Zion—to give them a beautiful bouquetin the place of ashes, the oil of blissinstead of tears,  and the mantle of joyous praise instead of the spirit of heaviness. Because of this, they will be known as Mighty Oaksof Righteousness, planted by Yahweh as a living display of his glory.
They will restore ruins from long ago and rebuild what was long devastated. They will renew ruined cities and desolations of past generations. TPT

MATT 6:9-13 Pray like this: Our Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn.
10 Manifest your kingdom realm,  and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth,  just as it is fulfilled in heaven.
11 We acknowledge you as our Provider of all we need each day.
12 Forgive us the wrongs we have doneas we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us.
13 Rescue us every time we face tribulationand set us free from evil.  For you are the King who rules with power and glory forever. Amen. TPT

ROM 4:18-21 Against all odds, when it looked hopeless, Abraham believed the promise and expected God to fulfill it. He took God at his word, and as a result he became the father of many nations. God’s declaration over him came to pass: “Your descendants will be so many that they will be impossible to count!”

19 In spite of being nearly one hundred years old when the promise of having a son was made, his faith was so strong that it could not be undermined by the fact that he and Sarahwere incapable of conceiving a child.

20–21 He never stopped believing God’s promise, for he was made strong in his faithto father a child. And because he was mighty in faith and convinced that God had all the power needed to fulfill his promises, Abraham glorified God! TPT

▼▼▼

Rom 4:18-20  When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do. And so he was made father of a multitude of peoples. God himself said to him, “You’re going to have a big family, Abraham!”

19 Abraham didn’t focus on his own impotence and say, “It’s hopeless. This hundred-year-old body could never father a child.” Nor did he survey Sarah’s decades of infertility and give up.

20 He didn’t tiptoe around God’s promise asking cautiously skeptical questions. He plunged into the promise and came up strong, ready for God,   MSG

Gal 1:1-3  I, Paul, and my companions in faith here, send greetings to the Galatian churches. 1 John 2:27-29 But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do].

28 And now, little children, abide (live, remain permanently) in Him, so that when He is made visible, we may have and enjoy perfect confidence (boldness, assurance) and not be ashamed and shrink from Him at His coming.

29 If you know (perceive and are sure) that He [Christ] is [absolutely] righteous [conforming to the Father’s will in purpose, thought, and action], you may also know (be sure) that everyone who does righteously [and is therefore in like manner conformed to the divine will] is born (begotten) of Him [God].  AMP

28 And now, dear children, remain in him, so that when he is revealed we may have joyful confidence and not be ashamed when we stand before him at his appearing

THIRD DAY CHURCH by Mary 10-30-2020

THIRD DAY CHURCH by Mary Dorian 10-30-2020

ACTS 2:1-8 On the day Pentecost was being fulfilled, all the disciples were gathered in one place.

Suddenly they heard the sound of a violent blast of windrushing into the housefrom out of the heavenly realm. The roar of the wind was so overpowering it was all anyone could bear!

Then all at once a pillar of fire appeared before their eyes. It separated into tongues of fire that engulfedeach one of them.

They were all filled and equippedwith the Holy Spirit and were inspired to speak in tongues—empowered by the Spirit to speak in languages they had never learned!

Now, at that time there were Jewish worshiperswho had emigrated from many different lands to live in Jerusalem.

When the peopleof the city heard the roaring sound, crowds came running to where it was coming from, stunned over what was happening, because each one could hear the disciples speaking in his or her own language.

Bewildered, they said to one another, “Aren’t these all Galileans?

So how is it that we hear them speaking in our own languages?  TPT

2 Tim 1:6-7  And the special gift of ministry you received when I laid hands on you and prayed — keep that ablaze!

2Timothy 1:6-7 I’m writing to encourage you to fan into a flame and rekindle[a] the fire of the spiritual gift God imparted to you when I laid my hands upon you.

For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control.  TPT

1 Chron 22:13 That’s what will make you successful, following the directions and doing the things that God commanded Moses for Israel. Courage! Take charge! Don’t be timid; don’t hold back.   MSG

Isa 7:13  So Isaiah told him, “Then listen to this, government of David! It’s bad enough that you make people tired with your pious, timid hypocrisies, but now you’re making God tired.

14 So the Master is going to give you a sign anyway. Watch for this: A girl who is presently a virgin will get pregnant. She’ll bear a son and name him Immanuel (God-With-Us).

15 By the time the child is twelve years old, able to make moral decisions,  MSG

Hag 2:5 ‘Put into action the word I covenanted with you when you left Egypt. I’m living and breathing among you right now. Don’t be timid. Don’t hold back.’   MSG

Rom 8:15  This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life.

MSG

Acts 2:43 And a sense of awe (reverential fear) came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were performed through the apostles (the special messengers).

44 And all who believed (who adhered to and trusted in and relied on Jesus Christ) were united and [together] they had everything in common;

45 And they sold their possessions (both their landed property and their movable goods) and distributed the price among all, according as any had need.

46 And day after day they regularly assembled in the temple with united purpose, and in their homes they broke bread [including the Lord’s Supper]. They partook of their food with gladness and simplicity and generous hearts,

47 Constantly praising God and being in favor and goodwill with all the people; and the Lord kept adding [to their number] daily those who were being saved [from spiritual death].  AMP

▼▼▼

Acts 2:43  Everyone around was in awe — all those wonders and signs done through the apostles!

44 And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common.

45 They sold whatever they owned and pooled their resources so that each person’s need was met.

46 They followed a daily discipline of worship in the Temple followed by meals at home, every meal a celebration, exuberant and joyful,

47 as they praised God. People in general liked what they saw. Every day their number grew as God added those who were saved.  MSG

Acts 5:12  Now by the hands of the apostles (special messengers) numerous and startling signs and wonders were being performed among the people. And by common consent they all met together [at the temple] in the covered porch (walk) called Solomon’s.

13 And none of those who were not of their number dared to join and associate with them, but the people held them in high regard and praised and made much of them.

14 More and more there were being added to the Lord those who believed [those who acknowledged Jesus as their Savior and devoted themselves to Him joined and gathered with them], crowds both of men and of women,

15 So that they [even] kept carrying out the sick into the streets and placing them on couches and sleeping pads, [in the hope] that as Peter passed by, at least his shadow might fall on some of them.

16 And the people gathered also from the towns and hamlets around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those troubled with foul spirits, and they were all cured.  AMP

▼▼▼

Acts 5:12 Through the work of the apostles, many God-signs were set up among the people, many wonderful things done. They all met regularly and in remarkable harmony on the Temple porch named after Solomon.

13 But even though people admired them a lot, outsiders were wary about joining them. 14 On the other hand, those who put their trust in the Master were added right and left, men and women both.

15 They even carried the sick out into the streets and laid them on stretchers and bedrolls, hoping they would be touched by Peter’s shadow when he walked by.

16 They came from the villages surrounding Jerusalem, throngs of them, bringing the sick and bedeviled. And they all were healed.

17 Provoked mightily by all this, the Chief Priest and those on his side, mainly the sect of Sadducees, went into action,

18 arrested the apostles, and put them in the town jail. 19 But during the night an angel of God opened the jailhouse door and led them out. MSG

2 Cor 12:12 Indeed, the signs that indicate a [genuine] apostle were performed among you fully and most patiently in miracles and wonders and mighty works.  AMP

Psalm 133:1-3 How truly wonderful and delightful to see brothers and sisters living together in sweet unity!
It’s as precious as the sacred scented oil flowing from the head of the high priest Aaron, dripping down upon his beard and running all the way down to the hem of his priestly robes.
This heavenly harmony can be compared to the dew dripping down from the skies upon Mount Hermon, refreshing the mountain slopes of Israel. For from this realm of sweet harmony God will release his eternal blessing, the promise of life forever! TPT

1 Cor 12:12 You can easily enough see how this kind of thing works by looking no further than your own body. Your body has many parts — limbs, organs, cells — but no matter how many parts you can name, you’re still one body. It’s exactly the same with Christ.

13 By means of his one Spirit, we all said good-bye to our partial and piecemeal lives. We each used to independently call our own shots, but then we entered into a large and integrated life in which he has the final say in everything. (This is what we proclaimed in word and action when we were baptized.) Each of us is now a part of his resurrection body, refreshed and sustained at one fountain — his Spirit — where we all come to drink. The old labels we once used to identify ourselves — labels like Jew or Greek, slave or free — are no longer useful. We need something larger, more comprehensive.

14 I want you to think about how all this makes you more significant, not less. A body isn’t just a single part blown up into something huge. It’s all the different-but-similar parts arranged and functioning together.  MSG

 ▼▼▼

1Corth 12:12-14 Just as the human body is one, though it has many parts that together form one body, so too is Christ.

13 For by one Spirit we all were immersed and mingled into one single body. And no matter our status—whether we are Jews or non-Jews, oppressed or free—we are all privileged to drink deeply of the same Holy Spirit.

14 In fact, the human body is not one single part but rather many parts mingled into one.

 TPT

Eph 2:14  The Messiah has made things up between us so that we’re now together on this, both non-Jewish outsiders and Jewish insiders. He tore down the wall we used to keep each other at a distance.  MSG

1 Chron 22:19 your part is to give yourselves, heart and soul, to praying to your God. So get moving — build the sacred house of worship to God! Then bring the Chest of the Covenant of God and all the holy furnishings for the worship of God into the sanctuary built in honor of God.”   MSG

Eph 4:11-16 filled earth with his gifts. He handed out gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, and pastor-teacher

12 to train Christians in skilled servant work, working within Christ’s body, the church,

13 until we’re all moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful in response to God’s Son, fully mature adults, fully developed within and without, fully alive like Christ.

14 No prolonged infancies among us, please. We’ll not tolerate babes in the woods, small children who are an easy mark for impostors.

15 God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love — like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do.

16 He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love.  MSG

 ▼▼▼

Eph 4:11-16 And he has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists, and some with grace to be pastors, and some with grace to be teachers.

12 And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ. 13 These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness in the faith, until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God, and finally we become one perfect manwith the full dimensions of spiritual maturity and fully developed in the abundance of Christ.

14 And then our immaturity will end! And we will not be easily shaken by trouble, nor led astray by novel teachings or by the false doctrines of deceiverswho teach clever lies. 15 But instead we will remain strong and always sincere in our love as we express the truth. All our direction and ministries will flow from Christ and lead us deeper into him, the anointed Head of his body, the church.

16 For his “body” has been formed in his image and is closely joined together and constantly connected as one. And every member has been given divine gifts to contribute to the growth of all; and as these gifts operate effectively throughout the whole body, we are built up and made perfect in love. TPT

GARMENT OF SALVATION AND RIGHTEOUSNESS 10-24-1010

GARMENTS OF SALVATION AND RIGHTEOUSNESS 10-25-2020

We are clothed with Christ. According to God we are galvanized and the clothing and  in the armor we wear in Christ is free from any corruption. It can never wear out or rust. If all this is a true , we must see ourselves Christ and all the Christ wears. As the church we must see ourselves the way the Father sees us and we must see each other in the same way. It is so important to know that we can withstand anything evil.

Ps 93:1 THE LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty; the Lord is robed, He has girded Himself with strength and power; the world also is established, that it cannot be moved. AMP

Ps 104:1 BLESS (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great! You are clothed with honor and majesty–

2 [You are the one] Who covers Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain or a tent, AMP

Isa 59:17 He dressed in Righteousness, put it on like a suit of armor,

with Salvation on his head like a helmet, Put on Judgment like an overcoat,

and threw a cloak of Passion across his shoulders.  AMP

Zech 3:2 And the Lord said to Satan, The Lord rebuke you, O Satan! Even the Lord, Who [now and habitually] chooses Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this [returned captive Joshua] a brand plucked out of the fire?

3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and was standing before the Angel [of the Lord].

4 And He spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And He said to [Joshua], Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with rich apparel.

5 And I [Zechariah] said, Let them put a clean turban on his head. So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with [rich] garments. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.  AMP

▼▼▼

Zech 3:3-4 Joshua, standing before the angel, was dressed in dirty clothes.

4 The angel spoke to his attendants, “Get him out of those filthy clothes,” and then said to Joshua, “Look, I’ve stripped you of your sin and dressed you up in clean clothes.”

5 I spoke up and said, “How about a clean new turban for his head also?” And they did it — put a clean new turban on his head. Then they finished dressing him, with God’s Angel looking on.  MSG

Isa 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has made to light upon Him the guilt and iniquity of us all.  AMP

Job 29:14 I put on righteousness, and it clothed me or clothed itself with me; my justice was like a robe and a turban or a diadem or a crown!  AMP

Rev 19:7-8  Let us celebrate, let us rejoice, let us give him the glory! The Marriage of the Lamb has come; his Wife has made herself ready.

8 She was given a bridal gown of bright and shining linen. The linen is the righteousness of the saints. MSG

Ps 132:16 I’ll dress my priests in salvation clothes; the holy people will sing their hearts out!

17 Oh, I’ll make the place radiant for David! I’ll fill it with light for my anointed!

18 I’ll dress his enemies in dirty rags, but I’ll make his crown sparkle with splendor.”

Gal 3:26-27 For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith.

27 For as many [of you] as were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union and communion with Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah] have put on (clothed yourselves with) Christ. AMP

▼▼▼

GAL 3:26-27 You have all become true children of God by the faith of Jesus the Anointed One!

27 It was faith that immersed you into Jesus, the Anointed One, and now you are covered and clothed with his anointing.  TPT

Luke 24:49 And behold, I will send forth upon you what My Father has promised; but remain in the city [Jerusalem] until you are clothed with power from on high. AMP You stretch out the starry skies like a tapestry. TPT

EPH 4:22-25 And he has taught you to let go of the lifestyle of the ancient man, the old self – life, which was corrupted by sinful and deceitful desires that spring from delusions.

23 Now it’s time to be made new by every revelation that’s been given to you.

24 And to be transformed as you embrace the glorious Christ-within as your new life and live in union with him! For God has re-created you all over again in his perfect righteousness, and you now belong to him in the realm of true holiness.

25 So discard every form of dishonesty and lying so that you will be known as one who always speaks the truth, for we all belong to one another. TPT

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, you who are younger and of lesser rank, be subject to the elders (the ministers and spiritual guides of the church) — [giving them due respect and yielding to their counsel]. Clothe (apron) yourselves, all of you, with humility [as the garb of a servant, so that its covering cannot possibly be stripped from you, with freedom from pride and arrogance] toward one another. For God sets Himself against the proud (the insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful) — [and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them], but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble.  AMP

▼▼▼

1 PET 5:5 In the same way, the younger ones should willingly supportthe leadership of the elders. In every relationship, each of you must wrap around yourself the apron of a humble servant. Because: God resists you when you are proud but multiplies grace and favor when you are humble. TPT

Rom 13:12 The night is far gone and the day is almost here. Let us then drop (fling away) the works and deeds of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light. AMP

RO 13:12 Night’s darkness is dissolving away as a new day of destiny dawns. So we must once and for all strip away what is done in the shadows of darkness, removing it like filthy clothes. And once and for all we clothe ourselves with the radiance of light as our weapon. TPT

Rom 13:14 But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts).  AMP

Rom 13:14 Get out of bed and get dressed! Don’t loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute. Dress yourselves in Christ, and be up and about!  MSG

Col 3:14 And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.  MSG

 ▼▼▼

Col 3:14 And above all these [put on] love and enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness [which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony]. AMP

EPH 6:11-17 Put on God’s complete set of armorprovided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser!

12 Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-godsand evil spirits that holdthis dark world in bondage.

13 Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all thingsand will rise victorious.

14 Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart.

SECRETS REVEALED 10-23-2020

Secrets are things kept hidden are unexplained until a certain time. Also and things that are hidden except for those who are privileged are ones of our own company or craft. “Trade secret.” We are privileged to know the “trade secret” of the kingdom. Not many go to this place where God reveals His heart and His secrets but it’s for those who seek Him out. God solves mysteries and allows us to make His name known.

1 Cor 13:2 And if I have prophetic powers (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but have not love (God’s love in me) I am nothing (a useless nobody).  AMP

1 COR 2:9-13 This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imaginethese are the many things God has in store for all his lovers.

10 But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, he has revealed to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things.

11 After all, who can really see into a person’s heart and know his hidden impulses except for that person’s spirit? So it is with God. His thoughts and secrets are only fully understood by his Spirit, the Spirit of God.

12 For we did not receive the spirit of this world system but the Spirit of God, so that we might come to understand and experience all that grace has lavished upon us.

13 And wearticulate these realities with the words imparted to us by the Spirit and not with the words taught by human wisdom. We join together Spirit-revealed truths with Spirit-revealed words.  TPT

18 So that they would desire and request mercy of the God of heaven concerning this secret, that Daniel and his companions should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

1 Cor 4:1 Don’t imagine us leaders to be something we aren’t. We are servants of Christ, not his masters. We are guides into God’s most sublime secrets, not security guards posted to protect them.

1 Cor 15:51 But let me tell you something wonderful, a mystery I’ll probably never fully understand. We’re not all going to die — but we are all going to be changed.

52 You hear a blast to end all blasts from a trumpet, and in the time that you look up and blink your eyes — it’s over. On signal from that trumpet from heaven, the dead will be up and out of their graves, beyond the reach of death, never to die again. At the same moment and in the same way, we’ll all be changed.

53 In the resurrection scheme of things, this has to happen: everything perishable taken off the shelves and replaced by the imperishable, this mortal replaced by the immortal. 54 Then the saying will come true: Death swallowed by triumphant Life!

Eph 3:3-6 I got the inside story on this from God himself, as I just wrote you in brief.

4 As you read over what I have written to you, you’ll be able to see for yourselves into the mystery of Christ.

5 None of our ancestors understood this. Only in our time has it been made clear by God’s Spirit through his holy apostles and prophets of this new order.

6 The mystery is that people who have never heard of God and those who have heard of him all their lives (what I’ve been calling outsiders and insiders) stand on the same ground before God. They get the same offer, same help, same promises in Christ Jesus. The Message is accessible and welcoming to everyone, across the board.  MSG

EPH 3:3-6 For this wonderful mystery, which I briefly described, was given to me by divine revelation,

There has never been a generation that has been given the detailed understanding of this glorious and divine mystery until now. He kept it a secret until this generation. God is revealing it only now to his sacred apostles and prophets by the Holy Spirit.

Here’s the secret: The gospel of grace has made you, non-Jewish believers, into coheirs of his promise through your union with him. And you have now become members of his body—one with the Anointed One!  TPT

PHIL 4:12 I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty. TPT

I want you to know this so that no one will come and lead you into errorthrough their persuasive arguments and clever words.

Col 2:2-5 I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God’s great mystery.

4 I’m telling you this because I don’t want anyone leading you off on some wild-goose chase, after other so-called mysteries, or “the Secret.”

5 I’m a long way off, true, and you may never lay eyes on me, but believe me, I’m on your side, right beside you. I am delighted to hear of the careful and orderly ways you conduct your affairs, and impressed with the solid substance of your faith in Christ. MSG

COMFORT AND TIMES OF REFRESHING 10-18-2020

COMFORT AND TIMES OF REFRESHING  10-17-2020

God has always been a God of comfort. We need Him today to bring comfort and refreshing in these times. The Lord brings comfort right to us when we need it the most. His comfort comes with his actions on our behalf. Comfort is a state of physical ease or freedom from pain or distress. It comes to ease a personal from grief, and sorrows. It is to soothe, to strengthen greatly. Jesus came as the word a direct loving response from God to bring comfort to the people of that day. They were poor and controlled by the religious leaders. Jesus came to bring comfort to the people not religion to soothe and ease them from their distress. Jesus brought comfort in this way; if someone were sick he healed them if they were oppressed he set them free. Whatever pain or situation Jesus brought comfort lasting comfort. Jesus brought comfort during the storm, not after but well it was going on.

ISA 40:1 Your God says to you: “Comfort, comfort my peoplewith gentle, compassionate words

PS 23:4 Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near. TPT

And just as we experience the abundance of Christ’s own sufferings, even more of God’s comfort will cascade upon us through our union with Christ.

If troubles weigh us down, that just means that we will receive even more comfort to pass on to you for your deliverance! For the comfort pouring into us empowers us to bring comfort to you. And with this comfort upholding you, you can endure victoriously the same suffering that we experience.

Now our hope for you is unshakable, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings you will also share in God’s comforting strength. TPT
