COMFORT AND TIMES OF REFRESHING  10-17-2020

God has always been a God of comfort. We need Him today to bring comfort and refreshing in these times. The Lord brings comfort right to us when we need it the most. His comfort comes with his actions on our behalf. Comfort is a state of physical ease or freedom from pain or distress. It comes to ease a personal from grief, and sorrows. It is to soothe, to strengthen greatly. Jesus came as the word a direct loving response from God to bring comfort to the people of that day. They were poor and controlled by the religious leaders. Jesus came to bring comfort to the people not religion to soothe and ease them from their distress. Jesus brought comfort in this way; if someone were sick he healed them if they were oppressed he set them free. Whatever pain or situation Jesus brought comfort lasting comfort. Jesus brought comfort during the storm, not after but well it was going on.

ISA 40:1 Your God says to you: “Comfort, comfort my peoplewith gentle, compassionate words

PS 23:4 Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near. TPT

He always comes alongside us to comfort us in every suffering so that we can come alongside those who are in any painful trial. We can bring them this same comfort that God has poured out upon us.

And just as we experience the abundance of Christ’s own sufferings, even more of God’s comfort will cascade upon us through our union with Christ.

If troubles weigh us down, that just means that we will receive even more comfort to pass on to you for your deliverance! For the comfort pouring into us empowers us to bring comfort to you. And with this comfort upholding you, you can endure victoriously the same suffering that we experience.

Now our hope for you is unshakable, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings you will also share in God’s comforting strength. TPT

Putting off till tomorrow what was needed to be done today. Blaming something or someone else. in the Bible nobody was impressed with how good the excuses are.

Gen 3:11-12 God said, “Who told you you were naked? Did you eat from that tree I told you not to eat from?”

23 For they said to me, Make us gods which shall go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.

LU 9:59 Jesus then turned to another and said, “Come be my disciple.”

He replied, “Someday I will, Lord, but allow me first to fulfill my duty as a good sonand wait until my father passes away.”

60 Jesus told him, “Don’t wait for your father’s burial. Let those who are already dead wait for death. But as for you, go and proclaim everywhere that God’s kingdom has arrived.”

61 Still another said to him, “Lord, I want to follow you too. But first let me go home and say good-bye to my entire family.”

LU 14:16 Jesus replied with this parable: “There was a man who invited many to join him in a great feast.

18 But one by one they all made excuses. One said, ‘I can’t come. I just bought some property and I’m obligated to go and look it over.’

19 Another said, ‘Please accept my regrets, for I just purchased five teams of oxenand I need to make sure they can pull the plow.’

20 Another one said, ‘I can’t come because I just got married.’

21 “The servant reported back to the host and told him of all their excuses. So the master became angry and said to his servant, ‘Go at once throughout the city and invite anyone you find—the poor, the blind, the disabled, the hurting, and the lonely—and invite them to my banquet.’  TPT

Judg 6:15-18 Gideon said to him, “Me, my master? How and with what could I ever save Israel? Look at me. My clan’s the weakest in Manasseh and I’m the runt of the litter.”

38 And it was so. When he rose early next morning and squeezed the dew out of the fleece, he wrung from it a bowlful of water.

39 And Gideon said to God, Let not your anger be kindled against me, and I will speak but this once. Let me make trial only this once with the fleece, I pray you; let it now be dry only upon the fleece and upon all the ground let there be dew.

8 don’t turn a deaf ear as in “the bitter uprising,” that time of wilderness testing!

9 Even though they watched me at work for forty years, your ancestors refused to let me do it my way; over and over they tried my patience.

10 And I was provoked, oh, so provoked! I said, “They’ll never keep their minds on God; they refuse to walk down my road.”

Matt 12:38 Later a few religion scholars and Pharisees got on him. “Teacher, we want to see your credentials. Give us some hard evidence that God is in this. How about a miracle?”

39 Jesus said, “You’re looking for proof, but you’re looking for the wrong kind. All you want is something to titillate your curiosity, satisfy your lust for miracles. The only proof you’re going to get is what looks like the absence of proof: Jonah-evidence.

40 Like Jonah, three days and nights in the fish’s belly, the Son of Man will be gone three days and nights in a deep grave.

41 “On Judgment Day, the Ninevites will stand up and give evidence that will condemn this generation, because when Jonah preached to them they changed their lives. A far greater preacher than Jonah is here, and you squabble about ‘proofs.’

42 On Judgment Day, the Queen of Sheba will come forward and bring evidence that will condemn this generation, because she traveled from a far corner of the earth to listen to wise Solomon. Wisdom far greater than Solomon’s is right in front of you, and you quibble over ‘evidence.’   MSG

Num 13:27-33 Then they told the story of their trip: “We went to the land to which you sent us and, oh! It does flow with milk and honey! Just look at this fruit!

28 The only thing is that the people who live there are fierce, their cities are huge and well fortified. Worse yet, we saw descendants of the giant Anak.

29 Amalekites are spread out in the Negev; Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites hold the hill country; and the Canaanites are established on the Mediterranean Sea and along the Jordan.”

30 Caleb interrupted, called for silence before Moses and said, “Let’s go up and take the land — now. We can do it.”

31 But the others said, “We can’t attack those people; they’re way stronger than we are.”

32 They spread scary rumors among the People of Israel. They said, “We scouted out the land from one end to the other — it’s a land that swallows people whole. Everybody we saw was huge.

33 Why, we even saw the Nephilim giants (the Anak giants come from the Nephilim). Alongside them we felt like grasshoppers. And they looked down on us as if we were grasshoppers.”  MSG

Num 14:6-9 Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, members of the scouting party, ripped their clothes

7 and addressed the assembled People of Israel: “The land we walked through and scouted out is a very good land — very good indeed.

8 If God is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land that flows, as they say, with milk and honey. And he’ll give it to us.

9 Just don’t rebel against God! And don’t be afraid of those people. Why, we’ll have them for lunch! They have no protection and God is on our side. Don’t be afraid of them!”   MSG

Josh 1:2 “Moses my servant is dead. Get going. Cross this Jordan River, you and all the people. Cross to the country I’m giving to the People of Israel.

3 I’m giving you every square inch of the land you set your foot on — just as I promised Moses.

4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon east to the Great River, the Euphrates River — all the Hittite country — and then west to the Great Sea. It’s all yours.

5 All your life, no one will be able to hold out against you. In the same way I was with Moses, I’ll be with you. I won’t give up on you; I won’t leave you.

6 Strength! Courage! You are going to lead this people to inherit the land that I promised to give their ancestors.

7 Give it everything you have, heart and soul. Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don’t get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you’re going.

8 And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed.

9 Haven’t I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take.”   MSG

HOLY SPIRIT AND THE CHURCH

HOLY SPIRIT AND THE CHURCH 10-4-2020

Jesus left us here in good hands. Every member of the body of Christ is in the care of  and leader ship of the Holy Spirit. We are to be baptized which means to be totally immersed and submerged in the Holy Spirit. In Jesus baptism it was necessary that he be filled with the Holy Spirit. There are many who think the Holy Spirit is unnecessary or even optional in our Christian life. Jesus defeated the devil because he was empowered by the Holy Spirit. Jesus describes the Holy Spirit as rivers of living water. The church could not fulfill its purpose till the Holy Spirit came to empower them. God is calling us to be ever filled, to a refreshment, a renewed empowerment from the Holy Spirit.

MATT 3:11 Those who repent I baptize with water, but there is coming a Man after me who is more powerful than I am. In fact, I’m not even worthy enough to pick up his sandals. He will submerge you into union with the Spirit of Holiness and with a raging fire!TPT

Matt 3:11 I indeed baptize you in (with) water because of repentance [that is, because of your changing your minds for the better, heartily amending your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins]. But He Who is coming after me is mightier than I, Whose sandals I am not worthy or fit to take off or carry; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. AMP

Luke 4:1 THEN JESUS, full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led in [by] the [Holy] Spirit. AMP

Luke 4:14 Then Jesus went back full of and under the power of the [Holy] Spirit into Galilee, and the fame of Him spread through the whole region round about. AMP

Acts 1:4 As they met and ate meals together, he told them that they were on no account to leave Jerusalem but “must wait for what the Father promised: the promise you heard from me.

5 John baptized in water; you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit. And soon.”

6 When they were together for the last time they asked, “Master, are you going to restore the kingdom to Israel now? Is this the time?”

7 He told them, “You don’t get to know the time. Timing is the Father’s business.

8 What you’ll get is the Holy Spirit. And when the Holy Spirit comes on you, you will be able to be my witnesses in Jerusalem, all over Judea and Samaria, even to the ends of the world.”  MSG

Acts 2:1-4 When the Feast of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

2 Without warning there was a sound like a strong wind, gale force — no one could tell where it came from. It filled the whole building.

ACTS 2:1-4 On the day Pentecost was being fulfilled, all the disciples were gathered in one place.

Suddenly they heard the sound of a violent blast of windrushing into the housefrom out of the heavenly realm. The roar of the wind was so overpowering it was all anyone could bear!

Then all at once a pillar of fire appeared before their eyes. It separated into tongues of fire that engulfedeach one of them.

They were all filled and equippedwith the Holy Spirit and were inspiredto speak in tongues—empowered by the Spirit to speak in languages they had never learned! TPT

ACTS 9:31  After this, the church all over Judea, Galilee, and Samaria experienced a season of peace. The congregations grew larger and larger, with the believers being empowered and encouraged by the Holy Spirit. They worshiped God in wonder and awe, and walked in the fear of the Lord. TPT

THE LIGHT OF REVELATION 10-2-2020

THE LIGHT OF REVELATION  10-2-2020

 VIDEO BILL JOHNSON GODS REVELATION

We are reminded in Isaiah to rise and shine to let the revelation of who God is be revealed upon us. We, the body of Christ become a sign to the world. God reveals many things to us showing us our future and what is to come. Light is Heaven’s revelation.  Light is a revealing or a revelation that is communicating divine truth. It’s an enlightening or an astonishing disclosure. Revelation is used to make known to the public or to the world the things of God. All the earth is groaning waiting to see the revelation of the sons of God. Revelation is to disclose the times -to have mysteries disclosed, or revealed to us. Paul discloses his  revealed mysteries to us in the word of God. Reveal means to know and to live accordingly.

Isa 60:1-3 Get out of bed, Jerusalem! Wake up. Put your face in the sunlight. God’s bright glory has risen for you.

2 The whole earth is wrapped in darkness, all people sunk in deep darkness,

But God rises on you, his sunrise glory breaks over you.

3 Nations will come to your light, kings to your sunburst brightness. MSG

ISA 60:1-3 “Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glorynow streams from you!
Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick gloomcovers the nations,
but Yahweh arisesupon you and the brightness of his glory appears over you!
Nations will be attracted to your radiant lightand kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day. TPT

2 Cor 4:6 It started when God said, “Light up the darkness!” and our lives filled up with light as we saw and understood God in the face of Christ, all bright and beautiful.  MSG

2 COR 4:6  Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the one who has cascaded his light into us—the brilliant dawning light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ.  TPT

MATT 11:25-27 Then Jesus exclaimed, “Father, thank you, for you are Lord, the Supreme Ruler over heaven and earth! And you have hidden the great revelation of your authority from those who are proud and wise in their own eyes. Instead, you have shared it with these who humble themselves.

26 Yes, Father, your plan delights your heart, as you’ve chosen this way to extend your kingdom—by giving it to those who have become like trusting children.

27 You have entrusted me with all that you are and all that you have. No one fully and intimately knows the Son except the Father. And no one fully and intimately knows the Father except the Son. But the Son is able to unveil the Father to anyone he chooses.  TPT

EPH 1:17-19 I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelationto know him through your deepening intimacy with him.

18 I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones!

19 I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power  TPT

PAUL  Gal 1:15-16 But when He, Who had chosen and set me apart [even] before I was born and had called me by His grace (His undeserved favor and blessing), saw fit and was pleased

16 To reveal (unveil, disclose) His Son within me so that I might proclaim Him among the Gentiles (the non-Jewish world) as the glad tidings (Gospel), immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood [did not consult or counsel with any frail human being or communicate with anyone]. AMP

EPH 6:19 And pray also that God’s revelation would be released through me every time I preach the wonderful mystery of the hope-filled gospel.   TPT

MYSTERY  Col 1:27 God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. It’s that simple. That is the substance of our Message.  MSG

Eph 3:4-6 As you read over what I have written to you, you’ll be able to see for yourselves into the mystery of Christ.

5 None of our ancestors understood this. Only in our time has it been made clear by God’s Spirit through his holy apostles and prophets of this new order.

6 The mystery is that people who have never heard of God and those who have heard of him all their lives (what I’ve been calling outsiders and insiders) stand on the same ground before God. They get the same offer, same help, same promises in Christ Jesus. The Message is accessible and welcoming to everyone, across the board.  MSG

ISA 52:10 Yahweh has unveiled his holy armbefore the eyes of all the nations. To the ends of the earth, everyone everywhere will see the salvation of our God! TPT

Eph 3:9 Also to enlighten all men and make plain to them what is the plan [regarding the Gentiles and providing for the salvation of all men] of the mystery kept hidden through the ages and concealed until now in [the mind of] God Who created all things by Christ Jesus.

10 [The purpose is] that through the church the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to the angelic rulers and authorities (principalities and powers) in the heavenly sphere.  AMP

▼▼▼

EPH 3:9-10 My passion is to enlighten every person to this divine mystery. It was hidden for ages past until now, and kept a secret in the heart of God, the Creator of all.

10 The purpose of this was to unveil before every throne and rank of angelic orders in the heavenly realm God’s full and diverse wisdom revealed through the church.TPT

1 Cor 2:7 God’s wisdom is something mysterious that goes deep into the interior of his purposes. You don’t find it lying around on the surface. It’s not the latest message, but more like the oldest — what God determined as the way to bring out his best in us, long before we ever arrived on the scene.

8 The experts of our day haven’t a clue about what this eternal plan is. If they had, they wouldn’t have killed the Master of the God-designed life on a cross.

9 That’s why we have this Scripture text: No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it — What God has arranged for those who love him. MSG

1 Cor 2:10  But you’ve seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you. The Spirit, not content to flit around on the surface, dives into the depths of God, and brings out what God planned all along.

11 Who ever knows what you’re thinking and planning except you yourself? The same with God — except that he not only knows what he’s thinking,

12 but he lets us in on it. God offers a full report on the gifts of life and salvation that he is giving us.

13 We don’t have to rely on the world’s guesses and opinions. We didn’t learn this by reading books or going to school; we learned it from God, who taught us person-to-person through Jesus, and we’re passing it on to you in the same firsthand, personal way.  MSG

PROPHETS  Amos 3:7  Surely the Lord God will do nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets.

8 The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken; who can but prophesy?  AMP

Hos 12:10  I speak through the prophets to give clear pictures of the way things are. Using prophets, I tell revealing stories.  MSG

Dan 2:19 Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night, and Daniel blessed the God of heaven.  AMP

HEB 12:25 Make very sure that you never refuse to listen to God when he speaks! For the God who spoke on earth from Sinai is the same God who now speaks from heaven. Those who heard himspeak his living Word on earth found nowhere to hide, so what chance is there for us to escape if we turn our backs on God and refuse to hear his warnings as he speaks from heaven? TPT

REV GIVEN TO SHARE  Rev 1:1 [THIS IS] the revelation of Jesus Christ [His unveiling of the divine mysteries]. 18 So pay careful attention to your hearts as you hear my teaching, for to those who have open hearts, even more revelation will be given to them until it overflows. And for those who do not listen with open hearts, what little light they imagine to have will be taken away.” TPT

2 TIM 1:10 This truth is now being unveiled by the revelation of the anointed Jesus, our life-giver, who has dismantled death, obliterating all its effects on our lives, and has manifested his immortal life in us by the gospel. TPT

John 1:18 No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].  AMP

ROM 3:21-22 But now, independently of the law, the righteousness of God is tangible and brought to light through Jesus, the Anointed One. This is the righteousness that the Scriptures prophesied would come. It is God’s righteousness made visible through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. And now all who believe in him receive that gift. For there is really no difference between us.

ISA 48:6 You have heard what I foretold and have seen it all unfold, so admitthat it happened and I was right From now on I will tell you about new things never seen before, hidden things, well-guarded secrets you know nothing about.  TPT

PRAYER  Eph 1:17-19 [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,

BREAKTHROUGH 9-25-2020

BREAKTHROUGH 9-27-2020  VIDEO SPOKEN WORD ALTER CALL

Breakthrough means pushing forward past anything that keeps you from moving ahead. It’s not limited to a season. It’s an attitude of the heart. Breaking through past fears, past sicknesses, past emotional hurts. A breakthrough that means problem has been solved. It holds hope that there is an answer. The cross is a guarantee of breaking through anything that would try to stop this. Jesus broke through by his death on the cross and his resurrection. We experience breakthrough by the cross. On the cross he defeated the spirit of death for all of us. Do not think or allow yourself to be consumed in the world thinking. You have received a breakthrough in Christ from death to life.

2 Sam 5:20 And David came to Baal-perazim, and he smote them there, and said, The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like the bursting out of great waters. So he called the name of that place Baal-perazim [Lord of breaking through].  AMP

Rom 15:10-12  0 And this one: Outsiders and insiders, rejoice together!

11 And again: People of all nations, celebrate God! All colors and races, give hearty praise!

12 And Isaiah’s word: There’s the root of our ancestor Jesse, breaking through the earth and growing tree tall, Tall enough for everyone everywhere to see and take hope!  MSG

Acts 15:3 After they were sent off and on their way, they told everyone they met as they traveled through Phoenicia and Samaria about the breakthrough to the Gentile outsiders. Everyone who heard the news cheered — it was terrific news!   MSG

John 12:32 And I, if and when I am lifted up from the earth [on the cross], will draw and attract all men [Gentiles as well as Jews] to Myself.  AMP

Rom 6:6 We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin.

7 For when a man dies, he is freed (loosed, delivered) from [the power of] sin [among men].

8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

9 Because we know that Christ (the Anointed One), being once raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has power over Him.

10 For by the death He died, He died to sin [ending His relation to it] once for all; and the life that He lives, He is living to God [in unbroken fellowship with Him]. AMP

▼▼▼

RO 6:6-10 Could it be any clearerthat our former identityis now and forever deprived of its power? For we were co-crucified with him to dismantle the stronghold of sin within us, so that we would not continue to live one moment longer submitted to sin’s power.

Obviously, a dead person is incapable of sinning.

And if we were co-crucified with the Anointed One, we know that we will also share in the fullness of his life.

And we know that since the Anointed One has been raised from the dead to die no more, his resurrection life has vanquished death and its power over him is finished.

10 For by his sacrifice he died to sin’s power once and for all, but he now lives continuously for the Father’s pleasure. TPT

1 Cor 1:17-18  For Christ (the Messiah) sent me out not to baptize but [to evangelize by] preaching the glad tidings (the Gospel), and that not with verbal eloquence, lest the cross of Christ should be deprived of force and emptied of its power and rendered vain (fruitless, void of value, and of no effect).

18 For the story and message of the cross is sheer absurdity and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to perdition, but to us who are being saved it is the [manifestation of] the power of God.  AMP

▼▼▼

1 COR 1:17-18 For the Anointed One has sent me on a mission, not to see how many I could baptize, but to proclaim the good news. And I declare this message stripped of all philosophical arguments that empty the cross of its true power. For I trust in the all-sufficient cross of Christ alone.

18 To preach the messageof the cross seems like sheer nonsense to those who are on their way to destruction, but to us who are on our way to salvation, it is the mighty power of God released within us.  TPT

Gal 6:14  For my part, I am going to boast about nothing but the Cross of our Master, Jesus Christ. Because of that Cross, I have been crucified in relation to the world, set free from the stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns that they dictate.

15 Can’t you see the central issue in all this? It is not what you and I do — submit to circumcision, reject circumcision. It is what God is doing, and he is creating something totally new, a free life!  MSG

Col 1:22 But now, by giving himself completely at the Cross , actually dying for you, Christ brought you over to God’s side and put your lives together, whole and holy in his presence. MSG

Col 2:14 Having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross.

15 [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].  AMP

▼▼▼

Col 2:14 the slate wiped clean, that old arrest warrant canceled and nailed to Christ’s Cross.

15 He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets. MSG

HEB 12:2-3 We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!

So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures.  TPT

Phil 2:8 And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!

9 Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name,

10 That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11 And every tongue [frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  AMP

1 COR 3:17 Now, if someone desecratesGod’s inner sanctuary, God will desecrate him, for God’s inner sanctuary is holy, and that is exactly who you are. TPT

MT 27:40-42 saying, “We heard you boast that you could destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days! Why don’t you save yourself now? If you’re really God’s Son, come down from the cross!”

41 Even the ruling priests, with the Jewish scholars and religious leaders, joined in the mockery

42 and kept on saying, “He saved others, but he can’t even save himself! Israel’s king, is he? He should pull out the nails and come down from the cross right now; then we’ll believe in him!  TPT

Rom 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is much more [certain], now that we are reconciled, that we shall be saved (daily delivered from sin’s dominion) through His [resurrection] life.   AMP

Rom 5:12  You know the story of how Adam landed us in the dilemma we’re in — first sin, then death, and no one exempt from either sin or death.  MSG

Rom 5:15-17 Yet the rescuing gift is not exactly parallel to the death-dealing sin. If one man’s sin put crowds of people at the dead-end abyss of separation from God, just think what God’s gift poured through one man, Jesus Christ, will do!

16 There’s no comparison between that death-dealing sin and this generous, life-giving gift. The verdict on that one sin was the death sentence; the verdict on the many sins that followed was this wonderful life sentence.

17 If death got the upper hand through one man’s wrongdoing, can you imagine the breathtaking recovery life makes, sovereign life, in those who grasp with both hands this wildly extravagant life-gift, this grand setting-everything-right, that the one man Jesus Christ provides?  MSG

Rom 6:3 Or didn’t you realize we packed up and left there for good? That is what happened in baptism. When we went under the water, we left the old country of sin behind; when we came up out of the water, we entered into the new country of grace — a new life in a new land! That’s what baptism into the life of Jesus means.

4 When we are lowered into the water, it is like the burial of Jesus; when we are raised up out of the water, it is like the resurrection of Jesus.

5 Each of us is raised into a light-filled world by our Father so that we can see where we’re going in our new grace-sovereign country.  MSG

 ▼▼▼

RO 6:3-5 Or have you forgotten that all of us who were immersed into union with Jesus, the Anointed One, were immersed into union with his death?

Sharing in his death by our baptism means that we were co-buried and entombed with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him. We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to walk in the freshness of new life.

For since we are permanently grafted into himto experience a death like his, then we are permanently grafted into him to experience a resurrection like his and the new life that it imparts.  TPT

ROM 8:10-13 Now Christ lives his life in you! And even though your body may be dead because of the effects of sin, his life-giving Spirit imparts life to you because you are fully accepted by God.

11 Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, he will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you!

12 So then, beloved ones, the flesh has no claims on us at all, and we have no further obligation to live in obedience to it.

13 For when you live controlled by the flesh, you are about to die. But if the life of the Spirit puts to death the corrupt ways of the flesh, we then taste his abundant life. TPT

Rom 7:4 Likewise, my brethren, you have undergone death as to the Law through the [crucified] body of Christ, so that now you may belong to Another, to Him Who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God.  AMP

1 COR 15:21-22 For since death came through a man, Adam, it is fitting that the resurrection of the dead has also come through a man, Christ.

22 Even as all who are in Adam die, so also all who are in Christ will be made alive.  TPT

Heb 2:14 Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death —that is, the devil  AMP

NO EFFECT- entirely idle (useless), abolish, inoperative:, to cause to cease, put an end to, do away with, annul, to deprive of its strength, make barren, to deprive of force, influence, power

Acts 13:38 I want you to know, my very dear friends, that it is on account of this resurrected Jesus that the forgiveness of your sins can be promised.

39 He accomplishes, in those who believe, everything that the Law of Moses could never make good on. But everyone who believes in this raised-up Jesus is declared good and right and whole before God.  MSG

1Cor 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. KJV  MORE THAN CONQUERORS  If a Bee has to pull it’s stinger and venom sack out of it’s body in it victim. This kills the Bee When the sting, their stingers get pulled out, as well as their internal organs.

2 Tim 1:10-12 But we know it now. Since the appearance of our Savior, nothing could be plainer: death defeated, life vindicated in a steady blaze of light, all through the work of Jesus.

11 This is the Message I’ve been set apart to proclaim as preacher, emissary, and teacher.

12 It’s also the cause of all this trouble I’m in. But I have no regrets. I couldn’t be more sure of my ground — the One I’ve trusted in can take care of what he’s trusted me to do right to the end.  MSG

THE NEW GLORY 9-25-2020

THE NEW GLORY  9-25-2020  VIDEO

Remember how in the old testament the presence of God, His visible Glory,  was seen as smoke, but now the visible Glory is the presence of God. His glory will be clearly seen through his people. The glory will affect the atmosphere because it will physically manifest through you and me. Earth becomes aware of God’s glory through his church it’s an amazing way to bring the harvest. Glory comes from the word gloria flame or renown, The manifestation of God’s presence is so people can perceive Him. The Glory was manifested through Christ as light of the world. The Father glorify Jesus and now glorifies church. This new Glory makes God famous not us. We carry and manifest His glory let’s not trade it for something less.

Gen 1:28 And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.  AMP

TRADED  Ps 106:19-20  They cast in metal a bull calf at Horeb and worshiped the statue they’d made.

20 They traded the Glory for a cheap piece of sculpture — a grass-chewing bull! MSG

 ▼▼▼

Ps 106:19-20 They made a calf in Horeb and worshiped a molten image.

20 Thus they exchanged Him Who was their Glory for the image of an ox that eats grass [they traded their Honor for the image of a calf]!  AMP

2 Chron 5:13 And when the trumpeters and singers were joined in unison, making one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and other instruments for song and praised the Lord, saying, For He is good, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever, then the house of the Lord was filled with a cloud,

14 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.  AMP

Hag 2:6 For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake and make tremble the [starry] heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land;

7 And I will shake all nations and the desire and the precious things of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with splendor, says the Lord of hosts. AMP

2 Thess 1:10 When He comes to be glorified in His saints [on that day He will be made more glorious in His consecrated people], and [He will] be marveled at and admired [in His glory reflected] in all who have believed [who have adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him], because our witnessing among you was confidently accepted and believed [and confirmed in your lives].

11 With this in view we constantly pray for you, that our God may deem and count you worthy of [your] calling and [His] every gracious purpose of goodness, and with power may complete in [your] every particular work of faith (faith which is that leaning of the whole human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness).

12 Thus may the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be glorified and become more glorious through and in you, and may you [also be glorified] in Him according to the grace (favor and blessing) of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).  AMP

John 17:5  And now, Father, glorify me with your very own splendor, The very splendor I had in your presence Before there was a world. MSG

JOHN 17:22-24 For the very glory you have given to me I have given them so that they will be joined together as one and experience the same unity that we enjoy.
23 You live fully in me and now I live fully in them so that they will experience perfect unity, and the world will be convinced that you have sent me, for they will see that you love each one of them with the same passionate love that you have for me.
24 “Father, I ask that you allow everyone that you have given to meto be with me where I am! Then they will see my full glory—the very splendor you have placed upon me because you have loved me even before the beginning of time. TPT

Hab 2:14 Meanwhile the earth fills us with awareness of God’s glory as the waters cover the sea. MSG

John 2:11  This, the first of His signs (miracles, wonderworks), Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory [by it He displayed His greatness and His power openly], and His disciples believed in Him [adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him].  AMP

MATT 4:16 You who spend your days shrouded in darkness can now say, “We have seen a brilliant Light.”  And those who live in the dark shadow land of death can now say, “The Dawning Light arises on us.”  TPT

John 8:12 Jesus once again addressed them: “I am the world’s Light. No one who follows me stumbles around in the darkness. I provide plenty of light to live in.”  MSG

Matt 5:14 “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill.

15 If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand.

16 Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand — shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven. MSG

Rom 8:18 [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!  AMP

Isa 60:2-3 The whole earth is wrapped in darkness, all people sunk in deep darkness, But God rises on you, his sunrise glory breaks over you.

Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day.  TPT

2 COR 3:18 We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfiguredinto his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. TPT

Ps 57:8  Awake, my glory (my inner self); awake, harp and lyre! I will awake right early [I will awaken the dawn]!

9 I will praise and give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations.

IT’S A NEW YEAR by Mary Dorian  9-20-2020

Ex 4:10 And Moses said to the Lord, O Lord, I am not eloquent or a man of words, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and have a heavy and awkward tongue.

11 And the Lord said to him, Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the dumb, or the deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Is it not I, the Lord?

12 Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and will teach you what you shall say.

13 And he said, Oh, my Lord, I pray You, send by the hand of [some other] whom You will [send].

14 Then the anger of the Lord blazed against Moses; He said, Is there not Aaron your brother, the Levite? I know he can speak well. Also, he is coming out to meet you, and when he sees you, he will be overjoyed.

15 You must speak to him and put the words in his mouth; and I will be with your mouth and with his mouth and will teach you what you shall do.

16 He shall speak for you to the people, acting as a mouthpiece for you, and you shall be as God to him.   AMP

▼▼▼

Ex 4:10 Moses raised another objection to God: “Master, please, I don’t talk well. I’ve never been good with words, neither before nor after you spoke to me. I stutter and stammer.”

11 God said, “And who do you think made the human mouth? And who makes some mute, some deaf, some sighted, some blind? Isn’t it I, God? 12 So, get going. I’ll be right there with you — with your mouth! I’ll be right there to teach you what to say.”

13 He said, “Oh, Master, please! Send somebody else!”

14 God got angry with Moses: “Don’t you have a brother, Aaron the Levite? He’s good with words, I know he is. He speaks very well. In fact, at this very moment he’s on his way to meet you. When he sees you he’s going to be glad.

15 You’ll speak to him and tell him what to say. I’ll be right there with you as you speak and with him as he speaks, teaching you step by step.

16 He will speak to the people for you. He’ll act as your mouth, but you’ll decide what comes out of it.  MSG

who is the church?

WHO IS THE CHURCH   9-18-2020

Many people often confuses the church with the kingdom of God. The church exists to see the kingdom established. And to see the kingdom operating here on earth. The church is the arm of God that reaches out to an unreached world and invites them into the kingdom. EKKLESIA means the gathering to accomplish a purpose or a group of people who are called out for a purpose. First time the nation of people called out appears in exodus

Ex 2:23 However, after a long time [nearly forty years] the king of Egypt died; and the Israelites were sighing and groaning because of the bondage. They kept crying, and their cry because of slavery ascended to God.

24 And God heard their sighing and groaning and [earnestly] remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

25 God saw the Israelites and took knowledge of them and concerned Himself about them [knowing all, understanding, remembering all]. AMP

1 Peter 2:9  But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you —    MSG

1 Peter 2:9  But you are God’s chosen treasure[priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world.   Tpt

Matt 16:18 And now I’m going to tell you who you are, really are. You are Peter, a rock. This is the rock on which I will put together my church, a church so expansive with energy that not even the gates of hell will be able to keep it out.

19 “And that’s not all. You will have complete and free access to God’s kingdom, keys to open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven.”   MSG

▼▼▼

Math 16:18-19 I give you the name Peter, a stone. And this truth of who I am will be the bedrock foundation on which I will build my church—my legislative assembly, and the power of deathwill not be able to overpower it.

19 I will give you the keysof heaven’s kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in heaven.” TPT

Acts 9:31  Things calmed down after that and the church had smooth sailing for a while. All over the country — Judea, Samaria, Galilee — the church grew. They were permeated with a deep sense of reverence for God. The Holy Spirit was with them, strengthening them. They prospered wonderfully.  MSG

Church is delivered and paid for by the Blood of Jesus

Acts 20:28  So guard your hearts. Be true shepherdsover all the flock and feed them well. Remember, it was the Holy Spirit who appointed you to guard and overseethe churches that belong to Jesus, the Anointed One, which he purchased and established by his own blood. TPT

1 Cor 3:16 Do you not discern and understand that you [the whole church at Corinth] are God’s temple (His sanctuary), and that God’s Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you [to be at home in you, collectively as a church and also individually]?

17 If anyone does hurt to God’s temple or corrupts it [with false doctrines] or destroys it, God will do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him. For the temple of God is holy (sacred to Him) and that [temple] you [the believing church and its individual believers] are.  AMP

▼▼▼

1 Corth 3:16-17  Don’t you realize that together you have become God’s inner sanctuaryand that the Spirit of God makes his permanent home in you?

17 Now, if someone desecratesGod’s inner sanctuary, God will desecrate him, for God’s inner sanctuary is holy, and that is exactly who you are. TPT

1 Cor 1:2 To the church (assembly) of God which is in Corinth, to those consecrated and purified and made holy in Christ Jesus, [who are] selected and called to be saints (God’s people), together with all those who in any place call upon and give honor to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:   AMP

Eph 2:19 That’s plain enough, isn’t it? You’re no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He’s using us all — irrespective of how we got here — in what he is building.

20 He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone

21 that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day — a holy temple built by God,

22 all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.  MSG

1 Cor 12:28 You’re familiar with some of the parts that God has formed in his church, which is his “body”: apostles prophets teachers miracle workers healers helpers organizers those who pray in tongues.

29 But it’s obvious by now, isn’t it, that Christ’s church is a complete Body and not a gigantic, unidimensional Part? It’s not all Apostle, not all Prophet, not all Miracle Worker,

30 not all Healer, not all Prayer in Tongues, not all Interpreter of Tongues.

31 And yet some of you keep competing for so-called “important” parts. But now I want to lay out a far better way for you. MSG

   ▼▼▼

1 Corth 12: 28-31  God has placed in the church the following: First apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then those with gifts of miracles, gifts of divine healing, gifts of revelation knowledge, gifts of leadership, and gifts of different kinds of tongues.

29 Not everyone is an apostle or a prophet or a teacher. Not everyone performs miracles

30 or has gifts of healing or speaks in tongues or interprets tongues.

31 But you should all constantly boil over with passion in seeking the higher gifts.

And now I will show you a superior way to live that is beyond comparison!  TPT

Holy Spirit thru the gifts of His Spirit builds up the church.

1Corth 14:12 And that’s what’s happening among you. You are so passionateabout embracing the manifestations of the Holy Spirit! Now become even more passionate about the things that strengthen the entire church. TPT

Eph 1:22 And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church],

23 Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].  AMP

▼▼▼

Eph 1:22-23 And he alone is the leader and source of everything needed in the church. God has put everything beneath the authority of Jesus Christand has given him the highest rank above all others.

23 And now we, his church, are his body on the earth and that which fills him who is being filled by it!  TPT

Eph 3:10  [The purpose is] that through the church the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to the angelic rulers and authorities (principalities and powers) in the heavenly sphere.

11 This is in accordance with the terms of the eternal and timeless purpose which He has realized and carried into effect in [the person of] Christ Jesus our Lord,  AMP

▼▼▼

Eph 3:10-11 The purpose of this was to unveil before every throne and rank of angelic orders in the heavenly realm God’s full and diverse wisdom revealed through the church.

Eph 4:10  And the One who climbed down is the One who climbed back up, up to highest heaven. He handed out gifts above and below, filled heaven with his gifts,

11 filled earth with his gifts. He handed out gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, and pastor-teacher

12 to train Christians in skilled servant work, working within Christ’s body, the church,

13 until we’re all moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful in response to God’s Son, fully mature adults, fully developed within and without, fully alive like Christ.

14 No prolonged infancies among us, please. We’ll not tolerate babes in the woods, small children who are an easy mark for impostors.  MSG

Eph 4:10-14 The same one who descended is also the one who ascended above the heights of heaven, in order to begin the restoration and fulfillmentof all things.

11 And he has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists, and some with grace to be pastors, and some with grace to be teachers.

12 And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ.

13 These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness in the faith, until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God, and finally we become one perfect man[ with the full dimensions of spiritual maturity and fully developed in the abundance of Christ.

14 And then our immaturity will end! And we will not be easily shaken by trouble, nor led astray by novel teachings or by the false doctrines of deceiverswho teach clever lies. TPT

Eph 4:16 For his “body” has been formed in his image and is closely joined together and constantly connected as one. And every member has been given divine gifts to contribute to the growth of all; and as these gifts operate effectively throughout the whole body, we are built up and made perfect in love.  TPT

It is Christ who presents the Church without spot or wrinkle

Eph 5:23-27 for the husband provides leadership for the wife, just as Christ provides leadership for his church, as the Savior and Reviverof the body.

24 In the same way the church is devoted to Christ, let the wives be devoted to their husbands in everything.

25 And to the husbands, you are to demonstrate love for your wives with the same tender devotion that Christ demonstrated to us, his bride. For he died for us, sacrificing himself

26 to make us holy and pure, cleansing us through the showering of the pure water of the Word of God.

27 All that he does in us is designed to make us a mature church for his pleasure, until we become a source of praise to him—glorious and radiant, beautiful and holy, without fault or flaw. TPT

Eph 5:29-32  No one abuses his own body, but pampers it—serving and satisfying its needs. That’s exactly what Christ does for his church!

30 He serves and satisfies usas members of his body.

31 For this reason a man is to leave his father and his mother and lovingly hold to his wife, since the two have become joined as one flesh,

32 Marriage is the beautiful design of the Almighty, a great and sacred mystery—meant to be a vivid example of Christ and his church.  TPT

Church is the Body of Christ living on the earth. The same as if He was still living here

Col 1:18 And when it comes to the church, he organizes and holds it together, like a head does a body. He was supreme in the beginning and — leading the resurrection parade — he is supreme in the end. From beginning to end he’s there, towering far above everything, everyone.  MSG
