MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 8-9-2020

Impossible means not able to happen, occur, exist or be done. We, the church, have not taken on the impossible too often. We have moved in our comfort zone. But now we must with the way things are now, the virus, jobs etc. We must have confidence in God to do through us what can otherwise not be done. The disciples were told to wait till they receive power to do it otherwise was impossible. But we have received the Holy Spirits power. Kingdom thinking knows anything is possible at any time. We think like God. Paul says he fully preached the gospel. That means he demonstrated with signs and wonders. What is impossible became possible.

Mark 10:27 Jesus was blunt: “No chance at all if you think you can pull it off by yourself. Every chance in the world if you let God do it.”  MSG

Matt 17:20 He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. AMP

▼▼▼

MATT 17:20 He told them, “It was because of your lack of faith. I promise you, if you have faith inside of you no bigger than the size of a small mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move away from here and go over there,’ and you will see it move! There is nothing you couldn’t do TPT

▼▼▼

JOHN 7:38 Believe in me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowingfrom your innermost being, just like the Scripture says! TPT

Rom 8:11 It stands to reason, doesn’t it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he’ll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s!

MSG  ▼▼▼

RO 8:11 Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, he will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you! TPT

MK 16:17-18 And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues. 18 They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.” TPT

▼▼▼

RO 4:17 That’s what the Scripture means when it says: “I have made you the father of many nations.” He is our example and father, for in God’s presence he believed that God can raise the dead and call into being things that don’t even exist yet.TPT

Phil 4:13 Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.  MSG

PS 71:18 God, now that I’m old and gray, don’t walk away. Give me grace to demonstrate to the next generation all your mighty miracles and your excitement, to show them your magnificent power! TPT

Rom 15:19 [Even as my preaching has been accompanied] with the power of signs and wonders, [and all of it] by the power of the Holy Spirit. [The result is] that starting from Jerusalem and as far round as Illyricum, I have fully preached the Gospel [faithfully executing, accomplishing, carrying out to the full the good news] of Christ (the Messiah) in its entirety.  AMP

1 Cor 1:17 God didn’t send me out to collect a following for myself, but to preach the Message of what he has done, collecting a following for him. And he didn’t send me to do it with a lot of fancy rhetoric of my own, lest the powerful action at the center — Christ on the Cross — be trivialized into mere words. MSG

1 Cor 2:4 and so nothing I said could have impressed you or anyone else. But the Message came through anyway. God’s Spirit and God’s power did it, MSG  ▼▼▼

1 COR 2:4 The message I preached and how I preached it was not an attempt to sway you with persuasive arguments but to prove to you the almighty power of God’s Holy Spirit.  TPT

1 Cor 4:20 For the kingdom of God consists of and is based on not talk but power (moral power and excellence of soul).  AMP

Eph 1:19 oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him — endless energy, boundless strength!

20 All this energy issues from Christ: God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven,

21 in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever.

22 He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the church.

23 The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ’s body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence.  MSG

Eph 3:20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think

1 Thess 1:5 For our [preaching of the] glad tidings (the Gospel) came to you not only in word, but also in [its own inherent] power and in the Holy Spirit and with great conviction and absolute certainty [on our part]. You know what kind of men we proved [ourselves] to be among you for your good.  AMP

Ps 147:5 How great is our God! There’s absolutely nothing his power cannot accomplish, and he has infinite understanding of everything. TPT

Mark 9:20 They brought him. When the demon saw Jesus, it threw the boy into a seizure, causing him to writhe on the ground and foam at the mouth.

21 He asked the boy’s father, “How long has this been going on?” “Ever since he was a little boy.

22 Many times it pitches him into fire or the river to do away with him. If you can do anything, do it. Have a heart and help us!”

23 Jesus said, “If? There are no ‘ifs’ among believers. Anything can happen.”

Ezek 12:21 God’s Message came to me:

22 “Son of man, what’s this proverb making the rounds in the land of Israel that says, ‘Everything goes on the same as ever; all the prophetic warnings are false alarms’?

23 “Tell them, ‘God, the Master, says, This proverb’s going to have a short life!’ “Tell them, ‘Time’s about up. Every warning is about to come true.

24 False alarms and easygoing preaching are a thing of the past in the life of Israel.

25 I, God, am doing the speaking. What I say happens. None of what I say is on hold. What I say, I’ll do — and soon, you rebels!’ Decree of God the Master.”

26 God’s Message came to me:

27 “Son of man, do you hear what Israel is saying: that the alarm the prophet raises is for a long time off, that he’s preaching about the far-off future?

28 Well, tell them, ‘God, the Master, says, “Nothing of what I say is on hold. What I say happens.”‘ Decree of God, the Master.” MSG

RELEASING THE GLORY OF HEAVEN WITHIN YOU 8-7-2020

RELEASING THE GLORY OF HEAVEN FROM WITHIN YOU 8-7-2020

God wants us to speak out from the atmosphere of the glory that is within us. In the book of Acts the believers were so immersed in the glory that was in them so that the supernatural could always manifest through them. Peter was so immersed in the glory even his shadow healed the sick or was it his shadow- maybe it was a glory zone established around him. GLORY-self-manifestation of God. The glory is still the physical manifestation of the Divine presence. We have the glory So that we can give it away. God’s glory always shows itself in tangible ways.

Ezek 1:27 From what had the appearance of His waist upward, I saw a lustre as it were glowing metal with the appearance of fire enclosed round about within it; and from the appearance of His waist downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness [of a halo] round about Him.

28 Like the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face and I heard a voice of One speaking.  AMP

Ezek 43:4 And the glory of the Lord entered the temple by the gate facing east.

5 Then the Spirit caught me up and brought me into the inner court, and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the temple.  AMP

John 1:14 And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.  AMP

2 Cor 6:16  What agreement [can there be between] a temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among them and will walk in and with and among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.  AMP

▼▼▼

2 COR 6:16  What friendship does God’s templehave with demons? For indeed, we are the temple of the living God, just as God has said: I will make my home in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people   TPT

1 Peter 4:13  But insofar as you are sharing Christ’s sufferings, rejoice, so that when His glory [full of radiance and splendor] is revealed, you may also rejoice with triumph [exultantly].

14 If you are censured and suffer abuse [because you bear] the name of Christ, blessed [are you — happy, fortunate, to be envied, with life-joy, and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of your outward condition], because the Spirit of glory, the Spirit of God, is resting upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.  AMP

COL 1:27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.  TPT

▼▼▼

Col 1:27 God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. It’s that simple. That is the substance of our Message.  MSG

John 2:11  This, the first of His signs (miracles, wonderworks), Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory [by it He displayed His greatness and His power openly], and His disciples believed in Him [adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him].  AMP

Luke 17:20 Asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He replied to them by saying, The kingdom of God does not come with signs to be observed or with visible display,

1 John 5:18 We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over and protects him [Christ’s divine presence within him preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one does not lay hold (get a grip) on him or touch [him].  AMP

2 Cor 3:18 All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.  MSG

 ▼▼▼

2 COR 3:18 We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. RIGHTEOUSNESS 8-2-2020

RIGHTEOUSNESS  8-2-2020

Righteousness is our mantle. We have inherited righteousness which is God righteousness. Faith or trust in God is righteousness. Starting with Abraham. Even before Jesus finished his work. A mantle is a covering also an important job that passes from one generation to the next. If God judges us in righteousness then he favors those who are righteous. He sees himself in us. Righteousness  becomes us our position and state of being. Right- wiseness

Isa 64:6  For we have all become like one who is unclean [ceremonially, like a leper], and all our righteousness (our best deeds of rightness and justice) is like filthy rags or a polluted garment; we all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away [far from God’s favor, hurrying us toward destruction].

Job 22:3 So what if you were righteous — would God Almighty even notice? Even if you gave a perfect performance, do you think he’d applaud? MSG

Ro 10:9 Now your salvation is realized! Your own words echo God’s voice. The unveiling of the masterful act of Jesus formed the words in your mouth, inspired by the conviction in your heart that God indeed raised him from the dead.

10 Heart faith confirms the fact of mankind’s righteousness and ignites the kind of conversation consistent with salvation. Mirror

▼▼▼

Rom 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. NKJV

Gen 15:6 And he [Abram] believed in (trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord, and He counted it to him as righteousness (right standing with God). AMP

Rom 4:5 But if you see that the job is too big for you, that it’s something only God can do, and you trust him to do it — you could never do it for yourself no matter how hard and long you worked — well, that trusting-him-to-do-it is what gets you set right with God, by God. Sheer gift. MSG

ROM 1:17 This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness —a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith. This is what the Scripture means when it says: “We are right with God through life-giving faith!”  TPT  ▼▼▼

Rom 1:17 Herein lies the secret power of the gospel; there is no good news in it until the righteousness of God is revealed! The dynamic of the gospel is revelation of God’s faith as the only valid basis for our belief. The prophets wrote in advance about the fact that God believes that righteousness reveals the life of our design. Righteousness by his faith defines life.  Mirror

This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord.

Rom 6:18. Sin once called the shot; now righteousness rules. I want to say as plainly as possible: you willingly offered your faculties to obey sin, you stained your body with unclean acts and allowed lawlessness to gain supremacy in all your conduct; and exactly the same way, I now encourage you to present your faculties and person to the supremacy of righteousness to find unrestricted expression in your lifestyle. For just as you surrendered your bodies and souls to impurity and lawlessness, which only brought more lawlessness into your lives, so now surrender yourselves as servants of righteousness, which brings you deeper into true holiness.

THE COMEBACK 7-31-2020

THE COMEBACK 7-30-2020

Come back, to return to your rightful place. The Spirit of God is calling those who once were positioned in their calling but were hurt and cast out by the body of Christ. Some choose sin and didn’t receive the love of God for themselves. They thought they could do this on their own. To live their lives on their own. But God is calling them back. Their comeback will be miraculous. The prodigals will be healed from their broken hearts.

ROM 8:28-39 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, whohave been called according to his purpose.

29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.

34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,

39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. TPT

Joel 2:13  Change your life, not just your clothes. Come back to God, your God. And here’s why: God is kind and merciful. He takes a deep breath, puts up with a lot, This most patient God, extravagant in love, always ready to cancel catastrophe. MSG

LU 15:20-24 So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.

23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate.

24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate. TPT

Rom 11:29 For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.]

30 Just as you were once disobedient and rebellious toward God but now have obtained [His] mercy, through their disobedience,

31 So they also now are being disobedient [when you are receiving mercy], that they in turn may one day, through the mercy you are enjoying, also receive mercy [that they may share the mercy which has been shown to you — through you as messengers of the Gospel to them].

32 For God has consigned (penned up) all men to disobedience, only that He may have mercy on them all [alike].  AMP

▼▼▼

RO 11:29-32 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.

30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience,

32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all. TPT

ENDUED WITH LIGHT 7-12-2020

ENDUED WITH LIGHT  7-12-2020 The ‪‎holy fire is a miracle that happens every year in the church or resurrection the bright Saturday day in Jerusalem. The patriarch enters to Christ’s tomb holding candles and pray, then goes out with the candles lighten by the holy fire that never hurts when people touch it. VIDEO

Endued means to be gifted with some unique quality or ability. Without light there would be no form of life. We’re not talking about the sun the moon the stars etc. we’re talking about The Light of the world Jesus. The Hebrew word for light means illumination lighting, happiness, bright, clear, day, morning to be, to set on fire, to shine. Darkness in the Hebrew means misery, destruction, death, sorrow, wickedness, impaired vision, curse. Albert Einstein‘s theory of relativity: light is constant, light is the only constant, light is the only unchangeable thing.

GEN 1:1-4  When God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was completely formless and empty with nothing but darkness over the deep. God‘s Spirit hovered over the face of the waters  and then God announced Let there be light, and light burst forth. And God saw their light as pleasing and beautiful.  He used the light to dispel the darkness.”.  TPT

Gen 1:1 First this: God created the Heavens and Earth — all you see, all you don’t see.

2 Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness. God’s Spirit brooded like a bird above the watery abyss.

3 God spoke: “Light!” And light appeared.

4 God saw that light was good and separated light from dark.  MSG

CAST YOUR CARES ON ME 7-19-2020

CAST YOUR CARES ON ME 7-10-2020

Cares is a state of mind in which one is troubled, worried, or anxious, or has grief, or has sorrow. Each persons cares vary as to what troubles one person may not trouble another. Worry-distress, anxiety it is a form of torment.

The word cast or casting means to move away from you by using force. To take off you. Do not let it cling. Like a fisherman throwing the net out into deep waters.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.  AMP

1 Peter 5:7 You can throw the whole weight of your anxieties upon him, for you are his personal concern. PHILLIPS

Phil 4:6 Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.

7 Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

8 Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious — the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.

9 Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies. MSG

PHIL 4:6-8 Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life,

then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.

So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always.  TPT

33 Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.

34 “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. MSG

Ps 127:2 It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves? MSG  ▼▼▼

PS 127:2 It really is senseless to work so hard from early morning till late at night, toiling to make a living for fear of not having enough. God can provide for his lovers even while they sleep! TPT

Ps 13:2 Long enough I’ve carried this ton of trouble, lived with a stomach full of pain. Long enough my arrogant enemies have looked down their noses at me.

3 Take a good look at me, God, my God; I want to look life in the eye,

4 So no enemy can get the best of me or laugh when I fall on my face.

5 I’ve thrown myself headlong into your arms —  I’m celebrating your rescue.

6 I’m singing at the top of my lungs, I’m so full of answered prayers. MSG

PS 13:2-6 How much longer must I cling to this constant grief? I’ve endured this shaking of my soul. So how much longer will my enemy have the upper hand? It’s been long enough!Take a good look at me, God, and answer me! Breathe your life into my spirit. Bring light to my eyes in this pitch-black darkness or I will sleep the sleep of death.
Don’t let my enemy proclaim, “I’ve prevailed over him.” For all my adversaries will celebrate when I fall.
Lord, I have always trusted in your kindness, so answer me. I will yet celebrate with passion and joy when your salvationlifts me up.
I will sing my song of joy to you, the Most High, for in all of this you have strengthened my soul. My enemies say that I have no Savior, but I know that I have one in you! TPT

Job 5:11 He raises up the down-and-out, gives firm footing to those sinking in grief.

MK 4:18-20 And the seed sown among thorns represents those who hear the Word,

19 but they allow the cares of this life and the seduction of wealth and the desires for other things to crowd out and choke the Word so that it produces nothing.

20 “But the seed sown on good soil represents those who open their hearts to receive the Word and their lives bear good fruit—some yield a harvest of thirty, sixty, even one hundred times more than was sown!”  TPT

James 5:11 What a gift life is to those who stay the course! You’ve heard, of course, of Job’s staying power, and you know how God brought it all together for him at the end. That’s because God cares, cares right down to the last detail.

12 And since you know that he cares, let your language show it. Don’t add words like “I swear to God” to your own words. Don’t show your impatience by concocting oaths to hurry up God. Just say yes or no. Just say what is true. That way, your language can’t be used against you.  MSG

1 Sam 2:8 He puts poor people on their feet again; he rekindles burned-out lives with fresh hope, Restoring dignity and respect to their lives —  a place in the sun!

For the very structures of earth are God’s; he has laid out his operations on a firm foundation.

9 He protectively cares for his faithful friends, step by step, but leaves the wicked to stumble in the dark. No one makes it in this life by sheer muscle! MSG

Luke 21:32 Truly I tell you, this generation (those living at that definite period of time) will not perish and pass away until all has taken place.

33 The sky and the earth (the universe, the world) will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

34 But take heed to yourselves and be on your guard, lest your hearts be overburdened and depressed (weighed down) with the giddiness and headache and nausea of self-indulgence, drunkenness, and worldly worries and cares pertaining to [the business of] this life, and [lest] that day come upon you suddenly like a trap or a noose;

35 For it will come upon all who live upon the face of the entire earth.

36 Keep awake then and watch at all times [be discreet, attentive, and ready], praying that you may have the full strength and ability and be accounted worthy to escape all these things [taken together] that will take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man. AMP

Heb 2:6 It has been solemnly and earnestly said in a certain place, What is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You graciously and helpfully care for and visit and look after him?

7 For some little time You have ranked him lower than and inferior to the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor and set him over the works of Your hands,

8 For You have put everything in subjection under his feet. Now in putting everything in subjection to man, He left nothing outside [of man’s] control. But at present we do not yet see all things subjected to him [man].

9 But we are able to see Jesus, Who was ranked lower than the angels for a little while, crowned with glory and honor because of His having suffered death, in order that by the grace (unmerited favor) of God [to us sinners] He might experience death for every individual person.  AMP

▼▼▼

HEB 2:6-9 But the Scriptures affirm: What is man that you would even think about him, or care about Adam’s race.
You made him lower than the angels for a little while. You placed your glory and honor upon his head as a crown. And you have given him dominion over the works of your hands,
For you have placed everything under his authority. This means that God has left nothing outside the control of his Son, even if presently we have yet to see this accomplished.

But we see Jesus, who as a man, lived for a short time lower than the angels and has now been crowned with glorious honor because of what he suffered in his death. For it was by God’s gracethat he experienced death’s bitterness on behalf of everyone! TPT

Worship provides a rest in the middle of a battle. All we have been hearing every day, all the fear has tried bombarding us. We need to set aside a time to just worship God. RO 8:35-39 Who could ever separate us from the endless love of God’s Anointed One? Absolutely no one! For nothing in the universe has the power to diminish his love toward us. Troubles, pressures, and problems are unable to come between us and heaven’s love. What about persecutions, deprivations, dangers, and death threats? No, for they are all impotent to hinder omnipotent love,

36 even though it is written: All day long we face death threats for your sake, God.
We are considered to be nothing morethan sheep to be slaughtered!

37 Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!

38 So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love.

39 There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! TPT

EPH 1:4-5 And he chose us to be his very own, joining us to himself even before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordainedus, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence.

5–6 For it was always in his perfect planto adoptus as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace—for the same love he has for his Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure!TPT

supernatural power

SUPERNATURAL POWER  4-3-2020

Supernatural power is the power that goes beyond the natural forces. It goes beyond natural laws and scientific understanding. The world is seeking power. Power to rule and control man’s actions and thoughts. But there is a power that lives in every believer who has the Holy Spirit. Supernatural force that raises the dead, cast out demons. and heals the sick. It is the church and we must stop being unimpressed with the power of the Holy Spirit that lives inside us and is upon us. Supernatural power proves to us that we have a new life.

ACTS 1:7-8 He answered, “The Father is the one who sets the fixed dates and the times of their fulfillment. You are not permitted to know the timing of all that he has prepared by his own authority.

But I promise you this—the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will be filled with power. And you will be my messengersto Jerusalem, throughout Judea, the distant provinces—even to the remotest places on earth!” TPT

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom (kingship, royal power) belongs not to this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My followers would have been fighting to keep Me from being handed over to the Jews. But as it is, My kingdom is not from here (this world); [it has no such origin or source]. AMP

John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]  AMP

▼▼▼

JN 16:33 And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!”TPT

JN 17:2 You have already given me authorityover all people so that I may give
the gift of eternal life to all those that you have given to me.

ACTS 2:1-6  On the day Pentecost was being fulfilled, all the disciples were gathered in one place.

Suddenly they heard the sound of a violent blast of windrushing into the housefrom out of the heavenly realm. The roar of the wind was so overpowering it was all anyone could bear!

Then all at once a pillar of fire appeared before their eyes. It separated into tongues of fire that engulfedeach one of them.

They were all filled and equippedwith the Holy Spirit and were inspiredto speak in tongues—empowered by the Spirit to speak in languages they had never learned!

Now, at that time there were Jewish worshiperswho had emigrated from many different lands to live in Jerusalem.

When the peopleof the city heard the roaring sound, crowds came running to where it was coming from, stunned over what was happening, because each one could hear the disciples speaking in his or her own language. TPT

ACTS 4:7-11 They made Peter and John stand in front of the council as they questioned them, saying, “Tell us, by what power and authority have you done these things?”

Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, answered, “Respected elders and leaders of the people, listen.

Are we being put on trial today for doing an act of kindness by healing a frail, crippled man? Well then,

10 you and everyone else in Israel should know that it is by the power of the name of Jesus that the crippled man stands here today completely healed! You crucified Jesus Christ of Nazareth, but God raised him from the dead.

11 This Jesus is ‘the stone that you, the builders, have rejected, and now he has become the cornerstone!’

12 There is no one elsewho has the power to save us, for there is only one name to whom God has given authority by which we must experience salvation: the name of Jesus. TPT

ACTS 4:13-14 The council members were astonished as they witnessed the bold courageof Peter and John, especially when they discovered that they were just ordinary men who had never had religious training. Then they began to understand the effect Jesus had on them simply by spending time with him.

14 Standing there with them was the healed man, and there was nothing further they could say. TPT

Acts 11:21 And the presence of the Lord was with them with power, so that a great number [learned] to believe (to adhere to and trust in and rely on the Lord) and turned and surrendered themselves to Him.  AMP

Acts 8:10 He had them all, from little children to old men, eating out of his hand. They all thought he had supernatural powers, and called him “the Great Wizard.”

11 He had been around a long time and everyone was more or less in awe of him.

12 But when Philip came to town announcing the news of God’s kingdom and proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ, they forgot Simon and were baptized, becoming believers right and left!

13 Even Simon himself believed and was baptized. From that moment he was like Philip’s shadow, so fascinated with all the God-signs and miracles that he wouldn’t leave Philip’s side.  MSG

Acts 10:38 How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of] the devil, for God was with Him. AMP

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God’s power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,  AMP

▼▼▼

ROM 1:16 I refuse to be ashamed of sharing the wonderful message of God’s liberating power unleashed in us through Christ! For I am thrilled to preach that everyone who believes is saved—the Jew first, and then people everywhere!  TPT

ROM 6:4-5 Sharing in his death by our baptism means that we were co-buried and entombed with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him. We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to walk in the freshness of new life.

For since we are permanently grafted into him to experience a death like his, then we are permanently grafted into him to experience a resurrection like his and the new life that it imparts. TPT

2 COR 13:4 For although he was crucified as a “weakling,” now he lives robed with God’s power. And we also are “weak ones” in our co-crucifixion with him, but now we live in God’s triumphant power together with him, which is demonstrated on your behalf.

AMP

▼▼▼

ROM 15:19 And I will not be presumptuous to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me. For many non-Jewish people are coming into faith’s obedience by the power of the Spirit of God, which is displayed through mighty signs and amazing wonders, both in word and deed. Starting from Jerusalem I went from place to place as far as the distant Roman province of Illyricum, fully preaching the wonderful message of Christ TPT

1 Cor 1:5 [So] that in Him in every respect you were enriched, in full power and readiness of speech [to speak of your faith] and complete knowledge and illumination [to give you full insight into its meaning].  AMP

1 COR 1:18 To preach the messageof the cross seems like sheer nonsense to those who are on their way to destruction, but to us who are on our way to salvation, it is the mighty power of God released within us. TPT

1 Cor 2:4  and so nothing I said could have impressed you or anyone else. But the Message came through anyway. God’s Spirit and God’s power did it,

5 which made it clear that your life of faith is a response to God’s power, not to some fancy mental or emotional footwork by me or anyone else.  MSG

 ▼▼▼

1 COR 2:4-5 The message I preached and how I preached it was not an attempt to sway you with persuasive arguments but to prove to you the almighty power of God’s Holy Spirit.

For God intended that your faith not be established on man’s wisdom but by trusting in his almighty power. TPT

1 Cor 4:20 God’s Way is not a matter of mere talk; it’s an empowered life. MSG

2 Cor 3:5 Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God.  AMP

2 Cor 4:7 However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.  AMP

Eph 3:18  That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];

19 [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] —  AMP

2 Tim 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

8 Do not blush or be ashamed then, to testify to and for our Lord, nor of me, a prisoner for His sake, but [with me] take your share of the suffering [to which the preaching] of the Gospel [may expose you, and do it] in the power of God.  AMP

▼▼▼

2 Tim 1:7 God doesn’t want us to be shy with his gifts, but bold and loving and sensible.

8 So don’t be embarrassed to speak up for our Master or for me, his prisoner. Take your share of suffering for the Message along with the rest of us. We can only keep on going, after all, by the power of God,

9 who first saved us and then called us to this holy work. We had nothing to do with it. It was all his idea, a gift prepared for us in Jesus long before we knew anything about it. MSG

▼▼▼

2 TIM 1:7-8  For God will never give you the spirit of fear but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control.

So never be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor be embarrassed over my imprisonment, but overcome every evil by the revelation of the power of God! TPT

JESUS IS THE KING 6-28-2020

We are closing out the month by worshiping the King. We are in need of a true leader in the world today. One who will lay down his life for the people. Fix your eyes on the King.

Ps 74:12  God is my King from the very start; he works salvation in the womb of the earth. MSG

Isa 43:15  I am GOD, your Holy One, Creator of Israel, your King.”  MSG

John 18:33 Upon hearing this, Pilate went back inside his palace and summoned Jesus. Looking him over, Pilate asked him, “Are you really the king of the Jews?”

34 Jesus replied, “Are you asking because you really want to know,or are you only asking this because others have said it about me?”

35 Pilate responded, “Only a Jew would care about this; do I look like a Jew? It’s your own people and your religious leaders that have handed you over to me. So tell me, Jesus, what have you done wrong?”

36 Jesus looked at Pilate and said, “The royal power of my kingdom realm doesn’t come from this world. If it did, then my followers would be fighting to the end to defend me from the Jewish leaders. My kingdom realm authority is notfrom this realm.”

37 Then Pilate responded, “Oh, so then you are a king?” “You are right.” Jesus said, “I was born a King, and I have come into this world to prove what truth really is. And everyone who loves the truthwill receive my words.”

John 18:33 Pilate went back into the palace and called for Jesus. He said, “Are you the ‘King of the Jews’?”

34 Jesus answered, “Are you saying this on your own, or did others tell you this about me?”

35 Pilate said, “Do I look like a Jew? Your people and your high priests turned you over to me. What did you do?”

36 “My kingdom,” said Jesus, “doesn’t consist of what you see around you. If it did, my followers would fight so that I wouldn’t be handed over to the Jews. But I’m not that kind of king, not the world’s kind of king.”

37 Then Pilate said, “So, are you a king or not?” Jesus answered, “You tell me. Because I am King, I was born and entered the world so that I could witness to the truth. Everyone who cares for truth, who has any feeling for the truth, recognizes my voice.”  MSG

BEAR UP 6-26-2020

BEAR UP 6-26-2020

Suffering in the Bible does not mean tolerating pain or discomfort. It’s referring to worry, anxiety, pressure and trials. We are to bear up under these circumstances and hard times because victory has already been given to us.

Dan 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, it is not necessary for us to answer you on this point.

17 If our God Whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up!

19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury and his facial expression was changed [to antagonism] against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Therefore he commanded that the furnace should be heated seven times hotter than it was usually heated.

20 And he commanded the strongest men in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

21 Then these [three] men were bound in their cloaks, their tunics or undergarments, their turbans, and their other clothing, and they were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

22 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame and sparks from the fire killed those men who handled Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the burning fiery furnace.

24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king [saw and] was astounded, and he jumped up and said to his counselors, Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered, True, O king.

25 He answered, Behold, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt! And the form of the fourth is like a son of the gods!

26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come out and come here. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out from the midst of the fire.

27 And the satraps, the deputies, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered around together and saw these men — that the fire had no power  garments scorched or changed in color or condition, nor had even the smell of smoke clung to them.  AMP

Deut 4:20 But you — God took you right out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to become the people of his inheritance — and that’s what you are this very day. MSG

Rom 8:17 And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. AMP ▼▼▼

Rom 8:17 And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferings as our own. TPT

1 Cor 10:13 For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently. AMP

1 COR 10:13 We all experiencetimes of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you faceso that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escapethat will bring you out of it victoriously TPT

2 Cor 4:8 We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair;

9 We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed;

10 Always carrying about in the body the liability and exposure to the same putting to death that the Lord Jesus suffered, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown forth by and in our bodies.

11 For we who live are constantly [experiencing] being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be evidenced through our flesh which is liable to death.

12 Thus death is actively at work in us, but [it is in order that our] life [may be actively at work] in you.

13 Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote, I have believed, and therefore have I spoken. We too believe, and therefore we speak,  AMP

2 Cor 6:4 Our work as God’s servants gets validated — or not — in the details. People are watching us as we stay at our post, alertly, unswervingly . . . in hard times, tough times, bad times;

5 when we’re beaten up, jailed, and mobbed; working hard, working late, working without eating;

6 with pure heart, clear head, steady hand; in gentleness, holiness, and honest love;

7 when we’re telling the truth, and when God’s showing his power; when we’re doing our best setting things right;

8 when we’re praised, and when we’re blamed; slandered, and honored; true to our word, though distrusted;

9 ignored by the world, but recognized by God; terrifically alive, though rumored to be dead; beaten within an inch of our lives, but refusing to die;

10 immersed in tears, yet always filled with deep joy; living on handouts, yet enriching many; having nothing, having it all.

11 Dear, dear Corinthians, I can’t tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life.

12 We didn’t fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren’t small, but you’re living them in a small way.

Rom 8:18 That’s why I don’t think there’s any comparison between the present hard times and the coming good times.

19 The created world itself can hardly wait for what’s coming next.

20 Everything in creation is being more or less held back. God reins it in

21 until both creation and all the creatures are ready and can be released at the same moment into the glorious times ahead. Meanwhile, the joyful anticipation deepens.

22 All around us we observe a pregnant creation. The difficult times of pain throughout the world are simply birth pangs. But it’s not only around us; it’s within us. The Spirit of God is arousing us within. We’re also feeling the birth pangs. MSG

2 TIM 1:12 The confidence of my calling enables me to overcome every difficulty without shame, for I have an intimate revelation of this God. And my faith in him convinces me that he is more than able to keep all that I’ve placed in his hands safe and secure until the fullness of his appearing.

9 It’s what I’m sitting in jail for right now — but God’s Word isn’t in jail!

10 That’s why I stick it out here — so that everyone God calls will get in on the salvation of Christ in all its glory.

11 This is a sure thing: If we die with him, we’ll live with him;

12 If we stick it out with him, we’ll rule with him; If we turn our backs on him, he’ll turn his back on us;

13 If we give up on him, he does not give up — for there’s no way he can be false to himself.  MSG

1 PET 2:19-24 You find God’s favor by deciding to please God even when you endure hardships because of unjust suffering.

20 For what merit is it to endure mistreatment for wrongdoing? Yet if you are mistreated when you do what is right, and you faithfully endure it, this is commendable before God.

21 In fact, you were called to live this way, because Christ also suffered in your place, leaving you his example for you to follow.

22 He never sinned and he never spoke deceitfully.

23 When he was verbally abused, he did not return with an insult; when he suffered, he would not threaten retaliation. Jesus faithfully entrusted himself into the hands of God, who judges righteously.

24 He himself carried our sinsin his body on the crossso that we would be dead to sinand live for righteousness. Our instant healing flowed from his wounding. TPT
