THE GIFT OF PEACE 6-18-21

THE GIFT OF PEACE 6-18-21 VIDEO PEACE SPOKEN WORD 2

From the very first moment Jesus arrived on the earth to the moment he left, he gave us this gift of peace. Peace is essential. Peace was proclaimed when Jesus was born and remains essential and powerful until he returns again. Peace is defined as wholeness or completion independent of the worlds condition or adverse circumstances. Peace is given to mankind in spite of circumstances Jesus knew his coming would not bring peace to the world. It would be a shaking to religion but it would produce a kingdom they could not be shaken. Men of goodwill will not be shaken and they will inherit the kingdom they cannot be shaken. This peace can not be shaken.

HEB 12:27-29 In the words of the prophet, “Yet once more will I shake every unstable system of man’s effort to rule himself.” God clearly indicates his plan to remove the old and replace it with the new. The second shaking supersedes any significance in the first shaking. Then it was a physical quaking of the earth; now the very foundations of every man-made  system was shaken to the core while the heavens were impacted by the announcement of his permanent rule on earth as it is mirrored in heaven.

PROPHECY BY MARY DORIAN

PROPHECY Mary Dorian 6-13-21

Isaiah 29:10-14 For Yahweh has poured out over you the spirit of a deep, deep sleep— putting the covers over your slumbering seers[ and rocking all your prophets to sleep.”

11 This entire prophetic revelation will become to you like the words of a sealed book. If it’s given to one who can read it with the command “Read this,” he responds, “I can’t because it is sealed.”

12 Or if it’s given to one who is illiterate with the command “Read this,” he responds, “I can’t because I cannot read.”

13 This is what the Lord says about these people: “They come near to me with hollow words  and honor me superficially with their lips; all the while their hearts run far away from me! Their worship is nothing more than man-made rules.
14 So therefore, I will again jolt this people awake with astonishing wonders upon wonders! And the wisdom of their wise ones will fail, and the intelligent know-it-alls will have no explanations. TPT

Isaiah 30:10 They say to the seers: “Stop seeing your visions.” They say to the prophets: “Stop prophesying to us about what is right. Prophesy only pleasant things to us, even if they’re illusions!  TPT

Matthew 5:12  So leap for joy—since your heavenly reward is great. For you are being rejected the same way the prophets were before you.  TPT

Matthew 5:17 “If you think I’ve come to set aside the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets, you’re mistaken. I have come to bring to perfection all that has been written.  TPT

Matthew 7:12  “In everything you do, be careful to treat others in the same way you’d want them to treat you, for that is the essence of all the teachings of the Law and the Prophets.  TPT

Matthew 7:15-20 “Constantly be on your guard against phony prophets. They come disguised as lambs, appearing to be genuine, but on the inside they are like wild, ravenous wolves!

16 You can spot them by their actions, for the fruits of their character will be obvious. You won’t find sweet grapes hanging on a thorn bush, and you’ll never pick good fruit from a tumbleweed.

17–19 So if the tree is good, it will produce good fruit; but if the tree is bad, it will bear only rotten fruit and deserves to be cut down and burned. 20 You’ll know them by the obvious fruit of their lives and ministries.”  TPT

Matthew 11:12-15  From the moment John stepped onto the scene until now, the realm of heaven’s kingdom is bursting forth, and passionate people have taken hold of its power.

13 For all the prophets and the Torah prophesied until John appeared.

14 If you can receive this truth, John is the Elijah who was destined to come.

15 So listen and understand what I’m telling you.  TPT.

Matthew 13:17 Many prophets and godly people yearned to see these days of miracles that you’ve been favored to see. They would have given everything to hear the revelation you’ve been favored to hear.  TPT

Matthew 23:29-37  “Great sorrow awaits you religious scholars and Pharisees—frauds and imposters! You build memorials for the prophets your ancestors killed and decorate the monuments of the godly people your ancestors murdered. 30 Then you boast, ‘If we had lived back then, we would not have joined them in killing the prophets.’

31 But your words and deeds testify that you are just like them and prove that you are indeed the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Go ahead and finish what your ancestors started!

33 You are nothing but snakes in the grass, the offspring of poisonous vipers! How will you escape the judgment of hell if you refuse to turn in repentance?

34 “For this reason I will send you more prophets and wise men and teachers of truth. Some you will crucify, and some you will beat mercilessly with whips in your meeting houses, abusing and persecuting them from city to city.

35 As your penalty, you will be held responsible for the righteous blood spilled and the murders of every godly person throughout your history—from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Jehoiada,[a] whom you killed as he stood in the temple between the brazen altar and the Holy Place.

36 I tell you the truth: the judgment for all these things will fall upon this generation!”

Jesus Prophesies Judgment Coming to Jerusalem

37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem—you are the city that murders your prophets! You are the city that stones the very messengers who were sent[b] to deliver you! So many times I have longed to gather a wayward people, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings—but you were too stubborn to let me.

Matthew 24:11-13 And many lying prophets will arise, deceiving multitudes and leading them away from the path of truth.

12 There will be such an increase of the sin of lawlessness that those whose hearts once burned with passion for God and others will grow cold.

13 But hold your hope firmly to the end and you will experience life and deliverance. TPT

Mark 13:22-23 For there will be imposters falsely claiming to be God’s ‘Anointed One.’ And false prophetswill arise to perform miracle signs, and if it were possible, they would cause God’s chosen ones to wander off the right track.

23 Be alert, for I prophesy all this will happen!”  TPT

Luke 11:49 That is why God’s wisdom is proclaiming: ‘I will send to them apostles and prophets though some they will murder and others they will persecute.’  TPT

John 4:44 Now Jesus knew that prophets are honored everywhere except in their own hometown. TPT

Acts 10:43  And not only us, but all of the prophets agree in their writings that everyone who believes in him receives complete forgiveness[a] of sins through the power of his name.” TPT

Acts 13:38-41 So listen, friends! Through this Jesus, the forgiveness[a] of sins is offered to you.

39 Everyone who believes in him is set free from sin and guilt—something the law of Moses had no power to do.

40 So be very careful that what the prophets warned about does not happen to you:

41 ‘Be amazed and in agony, you scoffers! For in your day I will do something so wonderful that when I perform mighty deeds among you, you won’t even believe that it was I who did it!’ ” TPT

Acts 15:32  Then Judas and Silas, who were both prophets, spoke to them affirming wordsthat strengthened the believers.TPT

Acts 26:23  Moses and the prophets have said was destined to happen: that our Messiah had to suffer and die and be the first to rise from the dead, to release the bright light of truth both to our people and to the non-Jewish nations. TPT

Rom 1:2  My commission is to preach the good news. Yet it is not entirely new, but the fulfillment of the hope promised to us through his prophets in the sacred Scriptures.  TPT

Rom 11:2-6  God has not rejected his chosen, destined people! Haven’t you heard Elijah’s testimony in the Scriptures, and how he prays to God, agonizing over Israel?

“Lord, they’ve murdered your prophets; they’ve demolished your altars. Now I’m the only one left and they want to kill me!”

But what was the revelation[c] God spoke to him in response?

You are not alone. For I have preserved a remnant for myself—seven thousand others who are faithful and have refused to worship Baal.”

And that is but one example of what God is doing in this age of fulfillment, for God’s grace empowers his chosen remnant.

And since it is by God’s grace, it can’t be a matter of their good works; otherwise, it wouldn’t be a gift of grace, but earned by human effort.  TPT

1Cor 14:32  The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. TPT

Eph 3:5-6  There has never been a generation that has been given the detailed understanding of this glorious and divine mystery until now. He kept it a secret until this generation. God is revealing it only now to his sacred apostles and prophets by the Holy Spirit.

Here’s the secret: The gospel of grace has made you, non-Jewish believers, into coheirs of his promise through your union with him. And you have now become members of his body—one with the Anointed One!  TPT

Eph 4:11-13 And he has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists, and some with grace to be pastors, and some with grace to be teachers.

12 And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ.

13 These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness into the faith, until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God, and finally we become one into a perfect manwith the full dimensions of spiritual maturity and fully developed into the abundance of Christ.  TPT

James 5:10-11  My brothers and sisters, takethe prophets as your mentors. They have prophesied in the name of the Lordand it brought them great sufferings, yet they patiently endured.

11 We honor them as our heroesbecause they remained faithful even while enduring great sufferings. And you have heard of all that Job went through and we can now see that the Lord ultimately treated him with wonderful kindness, revealing how tenderhearted he really is! TPT

1 Peter 1:10-12 This salvation was the focus of the prophets who prophesied of this outpouring of grace that was destined for you. They made a careful search and investigation of the meaning of their God-given prophecies

11 as they probed into the mysteries of who would fulfill them and the time period when it would all take place. The Spirit of the Anointed One was in them[a] and was pointing prophetically to the sufferings that Christ was destined to suffer and the glories that would be released afterward.

12 God revealed to the prophets that their ministry was not for their own benefit[b] but for yours. And now, you have heard these things from the evangelists[c] who preached the gospel to you through the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—the gospel containing wonderful mysteries that even the angels long to get a glimpse of.  TPT

2Peter 1: 17-21  17 Yes, Father God lavished upon him radiant glory and honor when his distinct voice spoke out of the realm of majestic glory, endorsing him with these words: This is my cherished Son, marked by my love. All my delight is found in him!

18 And we ourselves heard that voice resound from the heavens while we were with him on the holy mountain.

Prophecy

19 And so we have been given the prophetic word—the writtenmessage of the prophets, made more reliable and fully validated by the confirming voice of God on the Mount of Transfiguration. And you will continue to do well if you stay focused on it. For this prophetic message is like a piercing lightshining in a gloomy placeuntil the dawning of a new day, when the Morning Starrises in your hearts.

20 You must understand this at the outset: Interpretation of scriptural prophecy requires the Holy Spirit, for it does not originate from someone’s own imagination.

21 No true prophecy comes from human initiative but is inspired by the moving of the Holy Spirit upon those who spoke the message that came from God. TPT

2 Peter 2:1  In the past there arose false prophetsamong God’s people, just as there will continue to be false teachers who will secretly infiltrate in your midst to divide you, bringing with them their destructive heresies. They will even deny the Master, who paid the price for them, bringing swift destruction on themselves.

2 Peter 2:15-16 They have wandered off the main road and have gone astray, because they are prophets who love profit—the wages they earn by wrongdoing. They are following the example of Balaam, son of Beor,

16 who was rebuked for evil by a donkey incapable of speech yet that spoke with a human voice and restrained the prophet’s madness.  TPT

1John 4:1-4  Delightfully loved friends, don’t trust every spirit, but carefully examine what they sayto determine if they are of God, because many false prophets have mingled into the world.

Here’s the test for those with the genuine Spirit of God: they will confess Jesus as the Christ who has come in the flesh.

Everyone who does not acknowledge that Jesus is from God has the spirit of antichrist, which you heard was coming and is already active in the world.

Little children, you can be certain that you belong to God and have conquered them, for the One who is living in you is far greater than the one who is in the world. TPT

Acts 2:17-18  ‘This is what I will do in the last days—I will pour outmy Spirit on everybody and cause your sons and daughters to prophesy, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will experience dreams from God.

18 The Holy Spirit will come upon all my servants, men and women alike, and they will prophesy.  TPT

Rev19:10 At this I fell facedown at the angel’s feet to worship him, but he stopped me and said, “Don’t do this! For I am only a fellow servant with you and one of your brothers who clings to what Jesus testifies. Worship God. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”    TPT

We are at a place of decision in our lives. It’s more than repeating the sinners prayer. It is the giving up of our old identity and ways of life to walk in the fullness of our life in Christ. Fully persuaded means to be completely convinced  of something. No evidence on the contrary will change your belief.

2 Tim 1:5 I am calling up memories of your sincere and unqualified faith (the leaning of your entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), [a faith] that first lived permanently in [the heart of] your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am [fully] persuaded, [dwells] in you also.

HEB 12:2-3 We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectationonto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. 21 But [instead I would act on the principle] as it is written, They shall see who have never been told of Him, and they shall understand who have never heard [of Him].

22 This [ambition] is the reason why I have so frequently been hindered from coming to visit you. AMP

The gospel was brought forth by Jesus Paul and Peter. They persuaded people to believe by both their words and demonstrations. So we are fully persuaded and we must do the same.

WHERE’S THE BEEF  6-6-21 VIDEO WHERE’S THE BEEF

There is a battle coming. The church needs to be ready. The goal is it would become skilled in the word of righteousness. That way we can handle corporately and individually anything that comes our way.

No fear of man. This is one of the yolks of bondage that we will be delivered from. Fear of Man’s opinion has kept us in a bad place. The Word sets us free from fear of man. The apostles proclaim the word during difficult days and change the world.

Amos 8:11 “Oh yes, Judgment Day is coming!” These are the words of my Master God. “I’ll send a famine through the whole country. It won’t be food or water that’s lacking, but my Word.

12 People will drift from one end of the country to the other, roam to the north, wander to the east. They’ll go anywhere, listen to anyone, hoping to hear God’s Word — but they won’t hear it.  MSG

EPH 6: :14 Take your position: you have the truthwrapped around your hips like a soldier’s belt, holding the complete body armor together. Righteousness covers your heart like a bulletproof breastplate.

15 You wear your eagerness and passion to communicate the good news like soldier’s shoes. Announce peace; the battle has already been fought and won!

16 It is most important to engage your faith as a man-size shield that covers your whole person and empowers you to extinguish the flame in every arrow of contradiction that you might face. The only visible part of you is your faith!

17 Pondering redemption realities is your headgear that protects your mind; inspired thoughts give voice to God’s word—this is your spiritual sword.MIRROR

HEB 4:12 The message that God spoke to us in Christ is the most life giving and dynamic influence in us, cutting like a surgeon’s scalpel, sharper than a soldier’s sword, piercing to the deepest core of human conscience to the dividing of soul and spirit; ending the dominance of the sense realm and its neutralizing effect upon the human spirit. In this way man’s spirit is freed to become the ruling influence again in the thoughts and intentions of the heart. The scrutiny of this word detects every possible disease, discerning the body’s deepest secrets where joint and bone-marrow meet.

HEB 5:12 For you should already be professors instructing others by now; but instead, you need to be taught from the beginning the basics of God’s prophetic oracles! You’re like childrenstill needing milk and not yet ready to digest solid food.

HEB 5:12 By now youshould have been professors, able to teach the rest of the world, but you are still struggling with the ABC’s of God’s language in Christ. The difference between the prophetic shadow and the real is like that between milk and meat in your diet. You cannot live on baby food for the rest of your lives!

13 The revelation of righteousness is the meat of God’s word. Babes live on milk so does everyone who is not pierced in the ear of his heart by the revelation of Christ.

A MERRY HEART

A MERRY HEART-JOY AND LAUGHTER 6-4-21 Video RolandwhatisGod like

Maybe we need, after the past year of 2020, a time of real joy and laughter again. A joyful heart does cause laughter and that produces healing for the body. It boost our heart rate, increases our oxygen, boost our immunity, relieve stress and anxiety. It helps our brain concentrate by clearing the clouds of sadness over our minds and hearts. It releases endorphins. God told Abraham to name his son Isaac which means the sound of laughter. Laughter and joy are our weapons against the enemy.

10 Then [Ezra] told them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet drink, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold.

11 So the Levites quieted all the people, saying, Be still, for the day is holy. And do not be grieved and sad.

ATTAINING THE VERY BEST 5-30-21

ATTAINTING THE VERY BEST  5-30-21  VIDEO SEEK MY FACE

We are moving forward in our journey to attain and make our own everything Jesus has given us to by his life, death, and resurrection. Paul the apostle is a wonderful example of a man always moving forward and pressing on. He pressed into the things of God even though he had many distractions and trials but he kept going. What Paul went through in trials pales in comparison to what was revealed to him. Our quest-our journey is to behold God face to face. And in this we find fulfillment and purpose in our life. God made a promise and we need to recognize it. God said that we would see him face-to-face.

PHIL 3:10-12 Oh to comprehend the dynamic of his resurrection! His resurrection is evidence of our righteousness! In the revelation of God’s economy of inclusion, I actually co- suffered with him and co-died together with Christ!

11 When confronted with death, I actually come face to face with my own resurrection!

12 There may be blurry edges to my comprehending the full scope of resurrection life beyond the grave; but I pursue the complete conclusion of co-comprehending and fully grasping exactly that which Jesus Christ knew all along about me when he died my death; and to see me in his faith where I am so perfectly included when he rescued and raised me out of the grasp of death!

13 I am not boasting about this new found righteousness as if I came up with the idea; on the contrary, I have distanced myself from everything the do it yourself -system of the law of works and willpower previously represented in my reference; now I am fully engaged with that which the prophetic pointed to. Christ is what we  were  reaching for all along! Here he is in our face; within our immediate grasp!

14 I have the prize of mankind’s redeemed innocence in full view; just like a champion athlete in the public games I refuse to be distracted by anything else. God has invited us in Christ, to lift up our eyes and realize our identity in him.MIRROR

▼▼▼

PHIL 3:10-14  And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus and to experience the overflowing power of his resurrection working in me. I will be one with him in his sufferings and become like him in his death.

11 Only then will I be able to experience complete oneness with him in his resurrection from the realm of death.

12 I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose for which Christ Jesus laid hold of me to make me his own.

13 I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead.

14 I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.  TPT

Phil 3:10-14 [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

11 That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body].

12 Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own.

13 I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,

14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.  AMP

ROM 5:3-5 But that’s not all! Even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressureswill develop in us patient endurance.

And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope.

And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us! TPT

2 COR 11:26-29 In my difficult travels I’ve faced many dangerous situations: perilous rivers, robbers, foreigners, and even my own people. I’ve survived deadly peril in the city, in the wilderness, with storms at sea, and with spies posing as believers.

27 I’ve toiled to the point of exhaustion and gone through many sleepless nights. I’ve frequently been deprived of food and water, left hungry and shivering out in the cold, lacking proper clothing.

28 And besides these painful circumstances, I have the daily pressure of my responsibility for all the churches, with a deep concern weighing heavily on my heart for their welfare.

29 I am not aloof, for who is desperate and weak and I do not feel their weakness? Who is led astray into sin and I do not burn with zeal to restore him?  TPT

2 Cor 4:17 For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!], AMP

2 COR 12:1-6 Although it may not accomplish a thing, I need to move on and boast about supernatural visions and revelations of the Lord.

Someone I’m acquainted with, who is in union with Christ, was swept away fourteen years ago in an ecstatic experience. He was taken into the third heaven, but I’m not sure if he was in his body or out of his body—only God knows.

And I know that this man(again, I’m not sure if he was still in his body or taken out of his body—God knows)

was caught up in an ecstatic experience and brought into paradise, where he overheard many wondrous and inexpressible secretsthat were so sacred that no mortal is permitted to repeat them.

I’m ready to boast of such an experience, but for my own good I refuse to boast unless it concerns my weaknesses.

However, if I were to boast, it wouldn’t be ridiculous at all, for I would be speaking the truth. Yet I will refrain, lest others think higher of me than what I demonstrate with my life and teaching. TPT

PRO 24:13-14 Revelation-knowledge is a delicacy, sweet like flowing honey that melts in your mouth. Eat as much of it as you can, my friend!

In spite of the world circumstances that came against them, they all achieve their destiny and were marked by God‘s favor. Also favor is grace. A gift or a blessing brought to the church the believers by the Holy Spirit.  It is not earned it is divine influence upon our hearts.

Job 22:28 You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways.

HOLY SPIRIT AND FIRE

HOLY SPIRIT AND FIRE 5-23-21  VIDEO

Pentecost to those in the Jewish faith is a holy celebration. It occurs 50 days after Passover. It is the feast that celebrates the giving of the Torah, and it  celebrates the harvest.  It is also the time when God would decide their financial blessing for the rest of the year. It was to last 30 days after pentecost.  God brought Israel out of Egypt at passover but 50 days later God calls them His people. Christians celebrate Pentecost as the birthday of the church and the power of the Holy Spirit as promised by Jesus coming to the apostles and the people who were hearing what was happening in the upper room He call us His people now and causes our finances to be bleed through Jesus. In the Old Testament God spread  over the tabernacle with fire. Fire represents the Holy Spirit now. The fiery presence provided light and guidance in the old testament but in the New Testament God guides and comforts us with the Holy Spirit in our bodies. We become the fiery tabernacle or the temple of the Holy Spirit overlaid with fire. Remember you have received the full measure of the Holy Spirit. As you pour yourself out, there’s always a refreshment of more.

ACTS 2:1-4 On the day Pentecost was being fulfilled, all the disciples were gathered in one place.

Suddenly they heard the sound of a violent blast of windrushing into the housefrom out of the heavenly realm. The roar of the wind was so overpowering it was all anyone could bear!

Then all at once a pillar of fire appeared before their eyes. It separated into tongues of fire that engulfedeach one of them.

They were all filled and equippedwith the Holy Spirit and were inspiredto speak in tongues—empowered by the Spirit to speak in languages they had never learned! TPT

ACTS 2:7-12 Bewildered, they said to one another, “Aren’t these all Galileans? So how is it that we hear them speaking in our own languages?

We are northeastern Iranians, northwestern Iranians, Elamites, and those from Mesopotamia, Judea, east central Turkey, the coastal areas of the Black Sea, Asia,

10 north central Turkey, southern Turkey, Egypt, Libyans who are neighbors of Cyrene, visitors from all over the Roman Empire, both Jews and converts to Judaism, Cretans and Arabs.

11 Yet we hear them speaking of God’s mighty wonders in our own dialects!”

12 They all stood there, dumbfounded and astonished, saying to one another, “What is this phenomenon?” TPT

ACTS 2:14-18 Peter stood up with the eleven apostlesand shoutedto the crowd. “Listen carefully, my fellow Jewsand residents of Jerusalem. You need to clearly understand what’s happening here.

15 These people are not drunk like you think they are, for it is only nine o’clock in the morning.

16 This is the fulfillment of what was prophesied through the prophet Joel, for God says:

17 ‘This is what I will do in the last days—I will pour outmy Spirit on everybody and cause your sons and daughters to prophesy, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will experience dreams from God.

18 The Holy Spirit will come upon all my servants, men and women alike, and they will prophesy.  TPT

The prophecy of David talks about Jesus and it sees Jesus resurrection.

ACTS 2:31-36 So when peering into the future, David prophesiedof the Messiah’s resurrection. And God revealed to him that the Messiah would not be abandoned to the realm of death, nor would his body experience decay.

32 Can’t you see it? God has resurrected Jesus, and we all have seen him!

33 “Then God exalted him to his right hand upon the throne of highest honor. And the Father gave him the authority to send the promised Holy Spirit, which is being poured outupon us today. This is what you’re seeing and hearing!

34 “David wasn’t the one who ascended into heaven, but the one who prophesied: ‘Yahwehsaid to my Lord,  I honor you by enthroning you beside me,
35 until I make your enemies a footstool beneath your feet.’

36 “Now everyone in Israelcan know for certainthat Jesus, whom you crucified, is the one God has madeboth Lordand the Messiah.”  TPT

The people in the crowd react to the birth of the church. Harvest begins and it is still going on, can’t be stopped, is going on right till today and beyond.

ACTS 2:39-41 For God’s promise of the Holy Spirit is for youand your families, for those yet to be bornand for everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

40 Peter preached to them and warned them with these words: “Be rescued from the wayward and perverse culture of this world!”

41 Those who believed the word that day numbered three thousand. They were all baptized and added to the church. TPT

Pentecost to the Jews was the six day of creation. It represents the leading of the Jewish people out of the wilderness into the promised land and into a place of rest.

HEB 4:6-10 Those who first heard the good news of deliverance failed to enter into that realm of faith’s rest because of their unbelieving hearts. Yet the fact remains that we still have the opportunity to enter into the faith-rest life and experience the fulfillment of the promise!

For God still has ordained a day for us to enter into called “Today.” For it was long afterwards that God repeated it in David’s words, “If only today you would listen to his voice and do not harden your hearts!”

Now if this promise of “rest” was fulfilled when Joshua brought the people into the land, God wouldn’t have spoken later of another “rest” yet to come.

So we conclude that there is still a full and complete Sabbath-restwaiting for believersto experience.

10 As we enter into God’s faith-rest life we cease from our own works, just as God celebrates his finished works and rests in them. TPT

Jer 31:33-34  “This is the brand-new covenant that I will make with Israel when the time comes. I will put my law within them — write it on their hearts! — and be their God. And they will be my people.

I’ll wipe the slate clean for each of them. I’ll forget they ever sinned!” God’s Decree.  MSG .   Also Pentecost was a demonstration of the law been written on our hearts not on stone like the Torah.

Acts 19:3 “How were you baptized, then?” asked Paul “In John’s baptism.”
