TRYING TO BELIEVE

TRYING TO BELIEVE AND BEING A BELIEVER 12-10-21 VIDEO

A believer is someone who has confidence in the truth or the existence of someone or some thing that they haven’t seen with their own eyes. Faith is not intellectual it’s spiritual. Trying to believe it’s very different from believing. Repeating words like I am healed over and over again will never take place of believing in your heart. God acts out of His heart. Believing a simple trusting in God. The Pharisees believe in signs but did not believe in Jesus. Peter had to come to the realization of who Jesus was.

JAMES 2:19 You can believe all you want that there is one true God, that’s wonderful! But even the demons know this and tremble with fear before him, yet they’re unchanged—they remain demons.  TPT

JOHN 20:24 But Thomas, the Twin, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.

25 The other disciples told him that they have seen the Lord. But his response was, “I will never believe it unless I see his nail pierced hands and thrust my finger into the wounds and also my hand into his side.”

26 The next Sunday evening, Jesus again just showed up in their midst even though all the doors were locked and greeted them with, “Peace be unto you!” This time Thomas was with them.

27 Jesus immediately turned to Thomas and said to him, “Give me your finger and touch my hands so you that can see for yourself; and give me your hand and thrust it into my side! Replace your skepticism with persuasion!”

28 Without hesitation Thomas responded to Jesus with, “My Lord and my God!”

29 Jesus said to him, “You believe because you saw with your own eyes; blessed are those who believe even though they do not see!”

30 The disciples of Jesus witnessed many more signs than the ones recorded in this book.

31 But what is written here is enough evidence for the reader to be absolutely convinced that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. And thus your belief will echo the zoe-life unveiled in his name.   MIRROR

Mark 9:21  He asked the boy’s father, “How long has this been going on?” “Ever since he was a little boy.

22 Many times it pitches him into fire or the river to do away with him. If you can do anything, do it. Have a heart and help us!”

23 Jesus said, “If? There are no ‘ifs’ among believers. Anything can happen.”

24 No sooner were the words out of his mouth than the father cried, “Then I believe. Help me with my doubts!”

25 Seeing that the crowd was forming fast, Jesus gave the vile spirit its marching orders: “Dumb and deaf spirit, I command you — Out of him, and stay out!”  MSG

Rom 10:9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation. AMP  ▼▼▼

ROM 10:9 And what is God’s “living message”? It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation.

10 The heart that believes in him receives the gift of the righteousness of God—and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation.  TPT

LUKE 8:49 While Jesus was still speaking to the woman, someone came from Jairus’ house and told him, “There’s no need to bother the Master any further. Your daughter has passed away. She’s gone.”

50 When Jesus heard this, he turned to Jairus and said, “Don’t yield to your fear. Have faith in me and she will live again.”

51 When they arrived at the house, Jesus allowed only Peter, John, and Jacob—along with the child’s parents—to go inside.

52 Jesus told those left outside, who were sobbing and wailing with grief, “Stop crying. She is not dead; she’s just asleep and must be awakened.”

53 They laughed at him, knowing for certain that she had died.

54 Jesus approached the body, took the girl by her hand, and called out with a loud voice, “My sleeping child, awake! Rise up!”

31 Moses fed our ancestors with bread in the desert. It says so in the Scriptures: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.'”

32 Jesus responded, “The real significance of that Scripture is not that Moses gave you bread from heaven but that my Father is right now offering you bread from heaven, the real bread.

33 The Bread of God came down out of heaven and is giving life to the world.”

34 They jumped at that: “Master, give us this bread, now and forever!”

35 Jesus said, “I am the Bread of Life. The person who aligns with me hungers no more and thirsts no more, ever.

JEHOVA JIREH OUR PROVIDER  2-5-21 VIDEO GOD IS YOUR PROVIDER

God is not only our provider in wealth and in material things for our lives, but He provides for our spiritual life and our souls too. God sees that every word He speaks comes to pass exactly at the right time. We needed a savior, redeemer to be restored back to God‘s family. He has provided for our now and for our eternal life. God sees to it that every nation has a demonstration of God‘s reality.

8 Abraham said, “Son, God will see to it that there’s a sheep for the burnt offering.” And they kept on walking together.

9 They arrived at the place to which God had directed him. Abraham built an altar. He laid out the wood. Then he tied up Isaac and laid him on the wood.

10 Abraham reached out and took the knife to kill his son.

11 Just then an angel of God called to him out of Heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” “Yes, I’m listening.”

12 “Don’t lay a hand on that boy! Don’t touch him! Now I know how fearlessly you fear God; you didn’t hesitate to place your son, your dear son, on the altar for me.”

13 Abraham looked up. He saw a ram caught by its horns in the thicket. Abraham took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son.

14 Abraham named that place God-Yireh (God-Sees-to-It). That’s where we get the saying, “On the mountain of God, he sees to it.”  MSG

HEB 11:18 Yet Abraham knew that God had said that his lineage of faith would be traced through Isaac!

19 He made a prophetic calculation by faith to which there could only be one logical conclusion based on the word he had received: that God would raise the promise from the dead. MIRROR

▼▼▼

HEB 11:8  By faith Abraham acknowledged the call of God which gave him his identity and destiny, as evidence of his inheritance as he journeyed into the unknown.

9 Nothing but his faith seemed permanent while Abraham camped in tents like a stranger in the land of promise. His sons Isaac and Jacob joined him as sojourners; equally persuaded that they were heirs of the same promise.

10 His faith saw a city with permanent foundations, designed and constructed by God.

11 Sarah’s testimony of faith is just as amazing: she conceived and bore a child when it was humanly impossible. She believed that God would be faithful to his promise, and gave that belief authority over her life.

12 Faith brought into reality an offspring beyond calculation; from one as good as dead children would be born more numerous than the stars and as impossible to count as the grains of sand on every distant sea shore. MIRROR

ROM 4:16 The promise depends on faith so that it can be experienced as a grace-gift, and now it extends to all the descendants of Abraham. This promise is not only meant for those who obey the law, but also to those who enter into the faith of Abraham, the father of us all.

17 That’s what the Scripture means when it says: “I have made you the father of many nations.” He is our example and father, for in God’s presence he believed that God can raise the dead and call into being things that don’t even exist yet.

18 Against all odds, when it looked hopeless, Abraham believed the promise and expected God to fulfill it. He took God at his word, and as a result he became the father of many nations. God’s declaration over him came to pass: “Your descendants will be so many that they will be impossible to count!”

19 In spite of being nearly one hundred years old when the promise of having a son was made, his faith was so strong that it could not be undermined by the fact that he and Sarahwere incapable of conceiving a child.

20–21 He never stopped believing God’s promise, for he was made strong in his faithto father a child. And because he was mighty in faith and convinced that God had all the power needed to fulfill his promises, Abraham glorified God!  TPT

MATT 6:25  “This is why I tell you to never be worried about your life, for all that you need will be provided, such as food, water, clothing—everything your body needs. Isn’t there more to your life than a meal? Isn’t your body more than clothing?

26 “Consider the birds—do you think they worry about their existence? They don’t plant or reap or store up food, yet your heavenly Father provides them each with food. Aren’t you much more valuable to your Father than they?

27 So, which one of you by worrying could add anything to your life?

28 “And why would you worry about your clothing? Look at all the beautiful flowers of the field. They don’t work or toil,

29 and yet not even Solomon in all his splendor was robed in beauty like one of these! 30 So if God has clothed the meadow with hay, which is here for such a short time and then dried up and burned, won’t he provide for you the clothes you need—you of little faith?

31 “So then, forsake your worries! Why would you say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’

32 For that is what the unbelieverschase after. Doesn’t your heavenly Father already know the things your bodies require? TPT

GAL 4:4 But when the time of fulfillment had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law.

Yet all of this was so that he would redeem and set free those held hostage to the law so that we would receive our freedom and a full legal adoption as his children.

6 And so that we would know that we are his true children, God released the Spirit of Sonship into our hearts—moving us to cry out intimately, “My Father!  My true Father!”  TPT   ▼▼▼

GAL 4:4 But then the day dawned; the most complete culmination of time! The Son arrived, commissioned by the Father; his legal passport to the planet was his mother’s womb. In a human body exactly like ours he lived his life subject to the same scrutiny of the law.

5 His mandate was to rescue the human race from the regime of the law of performance and announce the revelation of their true sonship in God.

6 To seal our sonship God has commissioned the Spirit of sonship to resonate the Abba echo in our hearts; and now, in our innermost being we recognize him as our true and very dear Father.  MIRROR

ONE STEP OF FAITH 12-3-21

ONE STEP OF FAITH 12-3-21     VIDEO INDIANA JONES LEAP OF FAITH 2222 5

One step in faith activates the miraculous. Unfortunately the great truths of the word of God have been reduced to doctrines we fight over instead of demonstrations or experiences.

JOHN 2:7 Jesus asked the waiters to fill these stone jars with water, to the brim.

8 And then instructed them to immediately draw from the containers and present it to the governor of the feast; which they did without hesitation.

9 The host of the event tasted the water that has now become wine, but had no clue as to its vintage or origin. The servants didn’t tell him a word, so he called the bridegroom.

10 “Why would you keep the best wine for last?” Everybody serves the better wine first, so that by the time the cheaper wine is served, no-one can tell the difference – and here you surprise us all by bringing this excellent wine from your storehouse. Even though we already had much to drink, it is impossible not to tell its superiority!

11 In this first of the signs which Jesus performed at a wedding in Cana of Galilee, he gave everyone a foretaste of the beauty and intention of his mission. And his disciples believed in him. MIRROR

LUKE 1:28 Entering the house, he stood in front of her and greeted her with a most joyful salute! “Heavenly bliss, in its most bountiful extreme is yours! The extravagant favor of God  infuses you with grace! The Lord is with you!”

29 She was deeply perplexed and reasoned within herself. Realizing the massive significance of this salutation!

30 The Messenger spoke to her and immediately re-assured her to have no fear – “God is head over heels in love with you! This is your moment to discover 1how favored you have always been!

31 For behold, you will be mystically captured in your womb and conceive and bear a son. And you shall name him Jesus!

32 The eminence of his stature will be magnificent. He will be known as the son of the Most High. And the Lord God will return to him what already belongs to him, the throne of his father David!

33 And he will reign as king over the house of Jacob and his kingdom will be without any boundaries.

34 And Mary asked the Messenger, “So how can this be possible while I am still a virgin?”

35 And he said to her, “Holy Spirit will overwhelm you – hovering over you in the power of the Most High. Therefore, this holy begotten one will be called, son of God!

LUKE 1:38 Then Mary responded, “See, I am the handmaid of the Lord; I wish for it be with me exactly according to this conversation!” And with that, the messenger left.  MIRROR

As Jesus did the miracle of loaves and fish he blessed what was available and then multiplied it to feed thousands. Important factor Jesus used what they had that starts with what we have to step out in and then multiplies it.

JOHN 6:5  There was no getting away from the crowds though; when Jesus saw the multitude arrive he said to Phillip, “How do you think we are going to feed all these people?”

6 This wasn’t a trick question, but simply to engage their faith; he already knew exactly what he was going to do!

7 Phillip immediately concluded that this was impossible to do and far beyond a budget of any reasonable calculation; two hundred days wages could never buy enough for each person in the crowd to even get a little morsel of bread!

8 Then one of his disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter.

9 pointed to a little boy who had five small loaves of inexpensive barley bread and two small fishes and remarked how insignificant they appeared amongst such a multitude of hungry people!

10 Jesus asked his disciples to get everybody seated – the place was ideal for a picnic since it was spring and the grass was lush and green! Thousands of people gathered!

11 Jesus took the bread and fish and thanked God for it, then distributed it amongst the people; everyone was free to take as much as they wanted!

12 When the crowd had eaten their fill Jesus said to his disciples to gather up all the broken pieces to make sure that nothing is lost.

13 So they did and filled twelve baskets with fragments after everybody had as much as they could eat!

14 The people who witnessed these signs began to be more and more convinced that Jesus must truly be that Prophet, the one whom their Scriptures pointed to.  MIRROR

Ex 14:21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night and made the sea dry land; and the waters were divided.

22 And the Israelites went into the midst of the sea on dry ground, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

23 The Egyptians pursued and went in after them into the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

24 And in the morning watch the Lord through the pillar of fire and cloud looked down on the host of the Egyptians and discomfited [them],

25 And bound (clogged, took off) their chariot wheels, making them drive heavily; and the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians!

26 Then the Lord said to Moses, Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots and horsemen.

27 So Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its strength and normal flow when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled into it [being met by it]; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians and shook them off into the midst of the sea.

28 The waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that pursued them; not even one of them remained.

29 But the Israelites walked on dry ground in the midst of the sea, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.  AMP

1 Kings 17:7 After a while the brook dried up because there was no rain in the land.

8 And the word of the Lord came to him:

9 Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.

10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. When he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her, Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.

11 As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.

12 And she said, As the Lord your God lives, I have not a loaf baked but only a handful of meal in the jar and a little oil in the bottle. See, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it — and die.

4 And when you come in, shut the door upon you and your sons. Then pour out [the oil you have] into all those vessels, setting aside each one when it is full.

5 So she went from him and shut the door upon herself and her sons, who brought to her the vessels as she poured the oil.

GOODNESS OF GOD 11-28-21

THE GOODNESS OF GOD 11-28-2021  VIDEO MIRACLE NORWAY 2 #3

GOODNESS-good things, goods, property, fairness, beauty, joy, prosperity. I shall show myself to thee as the fountain of inexhaustible compassion, the Sovereign Dispenser of my own mercy in my own way, being gracious to whom I will be gracious, and showing mercy on whom I will show mercy.

God is good is the basis of scripture. His goodness can be counted on. He is good all the time. Many have gotten the idea that in the old testament God was not prone to show his goodness but more prone to be angry. Not true his goodness is 100% reliable.

Ex 33:18 And Moses said, I beseech You, show me Your glory.

19 And God said, I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim My name, THE LORD, before you; for I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy and loving-kindness on whom I will show mercy and loving-kindness. AMP

PS 23:6 So why would I fear the future? Only goodness and tender love pursue me all the days of my life. Then afterward, when my life is through, I’ll return to your glorious presenceto be forever with you!TPT

PS 27:13 Yet I believe with all my heart that I will see again your goodness, Yahweh, in the land of life eternal!14 Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you! TPT

THE KINGDOM

THE KINGDOM 11-21-21  VIDEO THATS MY KING THE EXTENDED

The word kingdom has often been misapplied to mean a future reality. But Jesus came to bring the kingdom to earth starting in His time here on earth and continuing to grow throughout the church. The kingdom has a king, Jesus Christ. In order to enter we must honor the one who is the king.

John the Baptist was the corner stone the High Point the crowning achievement of the Old Testament law. He prepared the way for Jesus but Jesus was the crowning glory of the Father. New kingdom everyone who presses in was welcome. So the kingdom is now ours, to move in here on earth.

Luke 17:20 Asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He replied to them by saying, The kingdom of God does not come with signs to be observed or with visible display,

21 Nor will people say, Look! Here [it is]! or, See, [it is] there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you].  AMP

Jesus answered them, “Give John this report:

‘The blind see again, the crippled walk, lepers are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised back to life, and the poor and broken now hear of the hope of salvation!’[a]

A NEW MINDSET 11-19-21

A NEW MINDSET BY MARY DORIAN 11-19-21

Romans 8:1  So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One.[ 2 For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death.  TPT

▼▼▼

Romans 8:1  Now the decisive conclusion is this: in Christ, every bit of condemning evidence against us is cancelled.

2 The law of the Spirit is the liberating force of life in Christ. This leaves me with no further obligation to the law of sin and death. Spirit has superseded the sin enslaved senses as the principle law of our lives.  Mirror

Col 1:14 In God’s mind mankind is associated in Christ; in his blood sacrifice we were ransomed; our redemption was secured; our 1sins were completely done away with.  MIRROR

Rom 8:4 So that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who live and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit [our lives governed not by the standards and according to the dictates of the flesh, but controlled by the Holy Spirit].

5 For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit.

6 Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].

7 [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot.

8 So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him.

9 But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God].

10 But if Christ lives in you, [then although] your [natural] body is dead by reason of sin and guilt, the spirit is alive because of [the] righteousness [that He imputes to you].

11 And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.

12 So then, brethren, we are debtors, but not to the flesh [we are not obligated to our carnal nature], to live [a life ruled by the standards set up by the dictates] of the flesh.

13 For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.  AMP   ▼▼▼

ROM 8:4 The very righteousness promoted by the law is now realized in us. Our practical day-to-day life bears witness to spirit inspiration and not flesh domination.

5 Sin’s symptoms are sponsored by the senses, a mind dominated by the sensual. Thoughts betray source; spirit life attracts spirit thoughts.

6 Thinking patterns are formed by reference; either the sensual appetites of the flesh and spiritual death, or zoe-life and total tranquillity flowing from a mind addicted to spirit [faith] realities.

7 A mind focused on flesh (the sensual domain where sin held me captive) is distracted from God with no inclination to his life-laws. Flesh [self-righteousness] and spirit [faith righteousness] are opposing forces. (Flesh no longer defines you; faith does!)

8 It is impossible for those immersed in flesh to at the same time accommodate themselves to the opinion, desire and interest of God.

9 But you are not ruled by a flesh-consciousness, but by a spirit-consciousness, God’s Spirit is 1at home in you. Anyone who does not see 2themselves fully 1clothed and identified in the Spirit of Christ, cannot be 2themselves. (If anyone does not embrace the Spirit of Christ, they are not themselves.

10 The revelation of 1Christ in you 1declares that your body is as good as dead to sin’s demands; sin cannot find any expression in a corpse. You co-died together with him. Yet your spirit is alive because of what righteousness

11 Our union with Christ further reveals that because the same Spirit that awakened the body of Jesus from the dead inhabits us, we equally participate in his resurrection. In the same act of authority whereby God raised Jesus from the dead, he co-restores your body to life by his indwelling Spirit.

12 We owe flesh nothing.

13 In the light of all this, to now continue to live under the sinful influences of the senses, is to reinstate the dominion of spiritual death. Instead, we are indebted to now exhibit the highest expression of life inspired by the Spirit. This life demonstrates zero tolerance to the habits and sinful patterns of the flesh.  Mirror

14 Someone living on an entirely human level rejects the revelations of God’s Spirit, for they make no sense to him. He can’t understand the revelations of the Spirit because they are only discovered by the illumination of the Spirit.

15 Those who live in the Spirit are able to carefully evaluate all things, and they are subject to the scrutiny of no one but God.

JOBS COMFORTERS

JOB’S COMFORTERS 11-12-21  VIDEO JOB AND HIS FRIENDS 2 #1

It seems that there is a mixed up message being sent out these days. In the book of Job, Job is going through a horrible time in his life. Loss, sickness, and depression. He had three friends who spoke into his life. Their advice seem on the surface to be good but Job‘s heart receive their words as judgment with very little effort. Poor Job. God‘s opinion was much different from those who were his friends. Jobs comforters, those who in self righteousness in the guise of comfort actually caused distress and sadness instead of hope. So instead of reminding your friend of what you fear most has come upon you or you don’t have enough faith, let’s look at what it means to bring comfort to a persons life.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons (the angels) of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan (the adversary and accuser) also came among them.

7 And the Lord said to Satan, From where did you come? Then Satan answered the Lord, From going to and fro on the earth and from walking up and down on it.

8 And the Lord said to Satan, Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who [reverently] fears God and abstains from and shuns evil [because it is wrong]?  AMP

Job 1:6 One day when the angels came to report to God, Satan, who was the Designated Accuser, came along with them.

7 God singled out Satan and said, “What have you been up to?” Satan answered God, “Going here and there, checking things out on earth.”

8 God said to Satan, “Have you noticed my friend Job? There’s no one quite like him — honest and true to his word, totally devoted to God and hating evil.”  MSG

Job 2:3 And the Lord said to Satan, Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who [reverently] fears God and abstains from and shuns all evil [because it is wrong]? And still he holds fast his integrity, although you moved Me against him to destroy him without cause.

4 Then Satan answered the Lord, Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has will he give for his life.

5 But put forth Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse and renounce You to Your face.  AMP

Job 2:3  Then God said to Satan, “Have you noticed my friend Job? There’s no one quite like him, is there — honest and true to his word, totally devoted to God and hating evil? He still has a firm grip on his integrity! You tried to trick me into destroying him, but it didn’t work.”

4 Satan answered, “A human would do anything to save his life.

5 But what do you think would happen if you reached down and took away his health? He’d curse you to your face, that’s what.”  MSG

JOHN 4:7 When a local Samaritan woman finally arrived to draw water, Jesus immediately asked her for a drink.

8 There was still no sign of the disciples.

9 The woman obviously anticipated this request and was ready with her response, “You are a Jew, aren’t you? So why would you expect to get anything for free from a Samaritan woman?” Within the politics of the day, Jews looked down upon the Samaritans and had no dealings with them.

10  He looked her in the eye and said, “If you could see the generosity of God’s grace gift, you would perceive who I am!  So here I am asking you for a drink when you should be asking me and I would give you the water of life for free!  MIRROR  ▼

27 Just then his disciples arrived; they were quite surprised that he was in such deep conversation with a woman, but made no remarks.
