HEARING GOD’S VOICE 12-10-23

“Hearing God’s Voice’’  12-10-23  VIDEO DEEP THOUGHTS LISTENING TO GOD

What does God’s Voice sound like? It can be a still small voice or the sound of thunder and waves of the sea. God’s voice as He spoke created the earth.  His voice is creative can make something from nothing. Every single believer has heard the voice of God, but sometimes they don’t attribute it to Him. They think it is just my conscience or my imagination. Sometimes His voice is inward, other times audible, He speaks through scripture, through prophecy, impressions, dreams, angels, Every child of God has been given the right to hear His voice

Ps 40:6 Doing something for you, bringing something to you — that’s not what you’re after. Being religious, acting pious — that’s not what you’re asking for. You’ve opened my ears so I can listen. MSG

Deut 4:12 And the Lord spoke to you out of the midst of the fire. You heard the voice of the words, but saw no form; there was only a voice.  AMP

Deut 4:30 When troubles come and all these awful things happen to you, in future days you will come back to God, your God, and listen obediently to what he says.

31 God, your God, is above all a compassionate God. In the end he will not abandon you, he won’t bring you to ruin, he won’t forget the covenant with your ancestors which he swore to them.

32 Ask questions. Find out what has been going on all these years before you were born. From the day God created man and woman on this Earth, and from the horizon in the east to the horizon in the west — as far back as you can imagine and as far away as you can imagine — has as great a thing as this ever happened? Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

33 Has a people ever heard, as you did, a god speaking out of the middle of the fire and lived to tell the story?  MSG

Deut 5:24 and said, “Our God has revealed to us his glory and greatness. We’ve heard him speak from the fire today! We’ve seen that God can speak to humans and they can still live.  MSG

Num 7:89 When Moses entered the Tent of Meeting to speak with God, he heard the Voice speaking to him from between the two angel-cherubim above the Atonement-Cover on the Chest of The Testimony. He spoke with him. MSG

1 Kings 19:11 Then he was told, “Go, stand on the mountain at attention before God. God will pass by.” A hurricane wind ripped through the mountains and shattered the rocks before God, but God wasn’t to be found in the wind; after the wind an earthquake, but God wasn’t in the earthquake;

12 and after the earthquake fire, but God wasn’t in the fire; and after the fire a gentle and quiet whisper.

13 When Elijah heard the quiet voice, he muffled his face with his great cloak, went to the mouth of the cave, and stood there. A quiet voice asked, “So Elijah, now tell me, what are you doing here?”  MSG

Job 26:14 And this is only the beginning, a mere whisper of his rule. Whatever would we do if he really raised his voice!” MSG

Job 26:14 Yet these are but [a small part of His doings] the outskirts of His ways or the mere fringes of His force, the faintest whisper of His voice! Who dares contemplate or who can understand the thunders of His full, magnificent power?  AMP

Acts 9:3 He set off. When he got to the outskirts of Damascus, he was suddenly dazed by a blinding flash of light.

4 As he fell to the ground, he heard a voice: “Saul, Saul, why are you out to get me?”

5 He said, “Who are you, Master?” “I am Jesus, the One you’re hunting down.

6 I want you to get up and enter the city. In the city you’ll be told what to do next.”

Gen 8:15 God spoke to Noah:

16 “Leave the ship, you and your wife and your sons and your sons’ wives.

17 And take all the animals with you, the whole menagerie of birds and mammals and crawling creatures, all that brimming prodigality of life, so they can reproduce and flourish on the Earth.”  MSG

Job 37:5 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. AMP

Job 37:5 His word thundering so wondrously, his mighty acts staggering our understanding.  MSG

Psalms 29:4 The voice of the Lord echoes through the skies and seas. The Glory-God reigns as he thunders in the clouds. So powerful is his voice, so brilliant and bright—how majestic as he thunders over the great waters!

5His tympanic thunder topples the strongest of trees. His symphonic sound splinters the mighty forests.

6Now he moves Zion’s mountains by the might of his voice, shaking the snowy peaks with his earsplitting sound!

7The lightning-fire flashes, striking as he speaks.

8God reveals himself when he makes the fault lines quake, shaking deserts, speaking his voice.

9God’s mighty voice makes the deer to give birth. His thunderbolt-voice lays the forest bare. In his temple all fall before him with each one shouting,“Glory, glory, the God of glory!”  TPT

Psalms 68:33 Make music for the one who strides the ancient skies. Listen to his thunderous voice of might split open the heavens.

34Give it up for God, for he alone has all the strength and power! Proclaim his majesty! For his glory shines down on Israel. His mighty strength soars in the clouds of glory. TPT

Hebrews 4:7For God still has ordained a day for us to enter into called “Today.” For it was long afterwards that God repeated it in David’s words,   “If only today you would listen to his voice and do not harden your hearts!”  TPT

Hebrews 3:7 the Holy Spirit said, “Discern the voice of the shepherd. Grasp the urgency of what God is saying to you today!

8 Therefore, do not be calloused in heart as the people of Israel were: every time they faced any contradiction or temptation in the wilderness, their response immediately revealed their irritation, rather than their persuasion in God’s belief.

9 Your fathers continued to scrutinize me suspiciously, examining me as though my intentions with them could not be trusted, even though they were eye-witnesses of my miraculous works for forty years.

10 They were a generation of people who grieved me deeply; instead of learning my ways, they habitually went astray in their hearts, intoxicated by their unbelief.

11 Hear the echo of God’s cry though the ages, “Oh! If only they would enter into my rest.”  Mirror

Hebrews 4:12 The message God spoke to us in Christ, is the most life giving and dynamic influence in us, cutting like a surgeon’s scalpel, sharper than a soldier’s sword, piercing to the deepest core of human conscience, to the dividing of soul and spirit; ending the dominance of the sense realm and its neutralizing effect upon the human spirit. In this way a person’s spirit is freed to become the ruling influence again in the thoughts and intentions of their heart. The scrutiny of this living Sword-Logos detects every possible disease, discerning the body’s deepest secrets where joint and bone-marrow meet.  Mirror

Hebrews 1:1 Throughout ancient times God spoke in many fragments and glimpses of prophetic thought to our fathers. Now, this entire conversation has finally dawned in sonship. Suddenly, what seemed to be an ancient language falls fresh and new like the dew on the tender grass! He is the sum total of every utterance of God. He is whom the Prophets pointed to and we are his immediate audience!  Mirror

John 12:27 “Even though I am torn within, and my soul is in turmoil, I will not ask the Father to rescue me from this hour of trial. For I have come to fulfill my purpose—to offer myself to God.

28So, Father, bring glory to your name!” Then suddenly a booming voice was heard from the sky,

“I have glorified my name! And I will glorify it through you again!”

29The audible voice of God startled the crowd standing nearby. Some thought it was only thunder, yet others said, “An angel just spoke to him!”

30Then Jesus told them, “The voice you heard was not for my benefit, but for yours—to help you believe.

31From this moment on, everything in this world is about to change, for the ruler of this dark world will be overthrown.

32And I will do this when I am lifted up off the ground and when I draw the hearts of people to gather them to me.”  TPT

2 PET 1:17 He was spectacularly endorsed by God the Father in the highest honor and glory. Then, a voice from within the cloud spoke, this is the Son of my delight; he completely pleases me.

18  For John, James, and I the prophetic word is fulfilled beyond doubt; we heard this voice loud and clear from the heavenly realm while we were with Jesus in that sacred moment on the mountain.

19 For us the appearing of the Messiah is no longer a future promise but a fulfilled reality. Now it is your turn to have more than a second-hand, hearsay testimony. Take my word as one would take a lamp at night; the day is about to dawn within you, in your own understanding. When the Morning Star appears, you no longer need the lamp; this will happen shortly on the horizon of your own hearts.  MIRROR

Matt 3:16 The moment Jesus came up out of the baptismal waters, the skies opened up and he saw God’s Spirit — it looked like a dove — descending and landing on him.

John 18:37 Then Pilate said, “So, are you a king or not?” Jesus answered, “You tell me. Because I am King, I was born and entered the world so that I could witness to the truth. Everyone who cares for truth, who has any feeling for the truth, recognizes my voice.”  MSG

▼▼▼

John 18:37 Pilate said to Him, Then You are a King? Jesus answered, You say it! [You speak correctly!] For I am a King. [Certainly I am a King!] This is why I was born, and for this I have come into the world, to bear witness to the Truth. Everyone who is of the Truth [who is a friend of the Truth, who belongs to the Truth] hears and listens to My voice.  AMP

RENEWED STRENGTH 12-8-23

RENEWED STRENGTH  12-8-23  VIDEO SUPERMAN 2

Have you ever felt like you can just not take any more? Call out to God, for He will renew your strength. I renewed energy. God will not replenish the strength you had, but give you a new strength you have never had before.

ISA 40:28-31 Don’t you know? Haven’t you been listening? Yahweh is the one and only everlasting God, the Creator of all you can see and imagine! He never gets weary or worn out. His intelligence is unlimited; he is never puzzled over what to do! He empowers the feeble and infuses the powerless with increasing strength. Even young people faint and get exhausted; athletic ones may stumble and fall. But those who wait for Yahweh’s grace will experience divine strength. They will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles, run their race without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up.” TPT

Isa 40:28 Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening? God doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath. And he knows everything, inside and out.

29 He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts.

30 For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall.

31 But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.  MSG

Ps 18:32 Is not this the God who armed me, then aimed me in the right direction?

33 Now I run like a deer; I’m king of the mountain. MSG

Phil 4:12 I know how to be abased and live humbly in straitened circumstances, and I know also how to enjoy plenty and live in abundance. I have learned in any and all circumstances the secret of facing every situation, whether well-fed or going hungry, having a sufficiency and enough to spare or going without and being in want.

13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].  AMP

Isa 41:10 Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you. MSG

Ps 46:1 GOD IS our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble.

2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the seas,

3 Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling and tumult. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!  AMP

Deut 31:6 Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you. AMP

1 Sam 2:4 The weapons of the strong are smashed to pieces, while the weak are infused with fresh strength. MSG

Neh 6:9 They were trying to intimidate us into quitting. They thought, “They’ll give up; they’ll never finish it.” I prayed, “Give me strength.”  MSG

Neh 8:10 He continued, “Go home and prepare a feast, holiday food and drink; and share it with those who don’t have anything: This day is holy to God. Don’t feel bad. The joy of God is your strength!”  MSG

Ps 62:11 God said this once and for all; how many times Have I heard it repeated? “Strength comes Straight from God.”  MSG

Ps 121:2 No, my strength comes from God, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.

ROM  15:1  We who are strong in faith are obliged to lift up those who are weak, to seek their advantage and not our own.

2 We are to please others and consider their good and benefit. MIRROR

Rom 15:1 Those of us who are strong and able in the faith need to step in and lend a hand to those who falter, and not just do what is most convenient for us. Strength is for service, not status.

2 COR 12:9 Finally it dawned on me that grace is God’s language; he doesn’t speak “thorn-langauge”! He said to me, “My grace elevates you, to be fully content.” And now, instead of being overwhelmed with a sense of my own weakness, he overwhelms me with an awareness of his strength! Oh what bliss to rejoice in the fact that in the midst of my frailties I encounter the dynamic of the grace of God to be my habitation!

10 I now enjoy a delightfully different frame of mind when I encounter things that would normally make me feel frail, whether it be from insults or when I am in situations where I’m forced to do things with my arms twisted behind my back; whether I am persecuted or feel squeezed into claustrophobic spaces. Because of Christ, every time that I encounter weakness I escape into the strength of my I am-ness!  MIRROR

 ▼▼▼

2 Cor 12:9 and then he told me, My grace is enough; it’s all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness. Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ’s strength moving in on my weakness.

10 Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size — abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become.   MSG

Eph 1:19 oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him — endless energy, boundless strength!

20 All this energy issues from Christ: God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven,   MSG

1 Cor 16:13 Be alert and on your guard; stand firm in your faith (your conviction respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, keeping the trust and holy fervor born of faith and a part of it). Act like men and be courageous; grow in strength!

YOUR CALLING IS YOUR GIFT 12-3-23  VIDEO WHO YOU ARE 2

What will you do with your calling? You are called by my name call into being that which does not exist yet, but truly will. Calling is to be under a divine influence towards a special course or action. To speak this out loud for all to hear. You’re called to herold the word to be ready always. One definition of the word “call” is to name.

ROM 4:17  When God changed Abram’s name to Abraham, he made a public statement that he would be the father of all nations. Here we see Abraham faced with God’s faith; the kind of faith that resurrects the dead and calls things which are not [visible yet] as though they were.  MIRROR

Gen 22:14 So Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide. And it is said to this day, On the mount of the Lord it will be provided. AMP

Gen 35:15 And Jacob called the name of the place where God had talked with him Bethel [house of God].  AMP

2 TIM 4:2 Broadcast this word on every occasion, even when it doesn’t seem to be convenient or appropriate; give evidence to this message; value every individual in your audience highly; esteem people’s authentic identity passionately; teach tirelessly!

3 There will be times when people will not relate to their inner resonance, when it comes to discerning sound instruction! Instead they would prefer the familiar language of the fallen mindset and desperately chase after titles and teachers who entertain rather than educate; they would accumulate for themselves libraries of information without any revelation!

4 In their pursuit they would exchange the truth for man-made fictions and fables as their source of reference!

5 But you be vigilant in all things, don’t allow the devastating things that you suffer to get to you! Continue in the full persuasion of your ministry as herald of the Good News; you cannot have a more poetic job description! MIRROR

▼▼▼

2 Tim 4:2 Herald and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching.

3 For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold,

4 And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions.

5 As for you, be calm and cool and steady, accept and suffer unflinchingly every hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fully perform all the duties of your ministry.   AMP

Rom 11:29 For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.]  AMP

Rom 11:29 God’s gifts and God’s call are under full warranty — never canceled, never rescinded.  MSG

1 Cor 1:26 For [simply] consider your own call, brethren; not many [of you were considered to be] wise according to human estimates and standards, not many influential and powerful, not many of high and noble birth.

27 [No] for God selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is foolish to put the wise to shame, and what the world calls weak to put the strong to shame.

28 And God also selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is lowborn and insignificant and branded and treated with contempt, even the things that are nothing, that He might depose and bring to nothing the things that are,  AMP

▼▼▼

1 COR 1:26 You might as well admit it, my friends; it was not your academic qualifications or your good looks or social connections that influenced God to represent you in Christ.

27 It is almost as if God deliberately handpicked the wacky of this world to embarrass the wise, the rejects to put to shame the noble.

28 The ones with no pedigree of any prominence, the “nobodies” in society, attracted God’s initiative to unveil his blueprint opinion in order to redefine mankind. Thus he rendered any other social standard entirely irrelevant, redundant and inappropriate.  MIRROR

Eph 1:18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),

19 And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,  AMP

Eph 4:1 In light of all this, here’s what I want you to do. While I’m locked up here, a prisoner for the Master, I want you to get out there and walk — better yet, run! — on the road God called you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere. MSG

Eph 4:4 [There is] one body and one Spirit — just as there is also one hope [that belongs] to the calling you received —  AMP

▼▼▼

Eph 4:4 You were all called to travel on the same road and in the same direction, so stay together, both outwardly and inwardly.  MSG

1 Cor 2:9 That’s why we have this Scripture text: No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it —  What God has arranged for those who love him.

10 But you’ve seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you. The Spirit, not content to flit around on the surface, dives into the depths of God, and brings out what God planned all along.  MSG

2 Thess 1:11  Because we know that this extraordinary day is just ahead, we pray for you all the time — pray that our God will make you fit for what he’s called you to be, pray that he’ll fill your good ideas and acts of faith with his own energy so that it all amounts to something.

12 If your life honors the name of Jesus, he will honor you. Grace is behind and through all of this, our God giving himself freely, the Master, Jesus Christ, giving himself freely.   MSG

▼▼▼

2 Thess 1:11 With this in view we constantly pray for you, that our God may deem and count you worthy of [your] calling and [His] every gracious purpose of goodness, and with power may complete in [your] every particular work of faith (faith which is that leaning of the whole human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness).

12 Thus may the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be glorified and become more glorious through and in you, and may you [also be glorified] in Him according to the grace (favor and blessing) of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). AMP

PHIL 3:14 I have the prize of mankind’s redeemed innocence in full view; just like a champion athlete in the public games I refuse to be distracted by anything else. God has invited us in Christ, to lift up our eyes and realize our identity in him.   MIRROR

2 Tim 1:8 Do not blush or be ashamed then, to testify to and for our Lord, nor of me, a prisoner for His sake, but [with me] take your share of the suffering [to which the preaching] of the Gospel [may expose you, and do it] in the power of God.

9 [For it is He] Who delivered and saved us and called us with a calling in itself holy and leading to holiness [to a life of consecration, a vocation of holiness]; [He did it] not because of anything of merit that we have done, but because of and to further His own purpose and grace (unmerited favor) which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began [eternal ages ago].  AMP

Heb 3:1  SO THEN, brethren, consecrated and set apart for God, who share in the heavenly calling, [thoughtfully and attentively] consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest Whom we confessed [as ours when we embraced the Christian faith].  AMP

Heavenly– Set apart for God, to be, as it were, exclusively his; persons whose services God employs. Heaven itself, the abode of God and angel.  A heavenly origin and nature: Call-a call, invitation: to a feast

2 Thess 2:14 [It was] to this end that He called you through our Gospel, so that you may obtain and share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah). AMP

2 Peter 1:10 Because of this, brethren, be all the more solicitous and eager to make sure (to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast) your calling and election; for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall. AMP

Isa  43 1 BUT NOW [in spite of past judgments for Israel’s sins], thus says the Lord, He Who created you, O Jacob, and He Who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you [ransomed you by paying a price instead of leaving you captives]; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.

2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.

3 For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt [to the Babylonians] for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba [a province of Ethiopia] in exchange [for your release].  AMP

Rom 1:7 To [you then] all God’s beloved ones in Rome, called to be saints and designated for a consecrated life: Grace and spiritual blessing and peace be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.  AMP

Rom 8:28 We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.

29 For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.

30 And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].  AMP

1 Cor 1:2 To the church (assembly) of God which is in Corinth, to those consecrated and purified and made holy in Christ Jesus, [who are] selected and called to be saints (God’s people), together with all those who in any place call upon and give honor to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:  AMP

RADICAL FAITH by Mary Dorian

“Radical Faith”   By Mary Dorian 11-26-23

Radical faith is the kind of faith that believes the reality of what the Word says before they see the result of the Word in a tangible way. Radical means extreme. This not complacent. It is a strong conviction that results in strong actions.  It is determined and unstoppable because there is no fear in it

HEB 11: 8 Faith motivated Abraham to obey God’s call and leave the familiar to discover the territory he was destined to inherit from God. So he left with only a promise and without even knowing ahead of time where he was going, Abraham stepped out in faith.

9He lived by faith as an immigrant in his promised land as though it belonged to someone else. He journeyed through the land living in tents with Isaac and Jacob who were persuaded that they were also co-heirs of the same promise.

10His eyes of faith were set on the city with unshakable foundations, whose architect and builder is God himself.  TPT

Heb 11:17 By faith, Abraham, at the time of testing, offered Isaac back to God. Acting in faith, he was as ready to return the promised son, his only son, as he had been to receive him —

18 and this after he had already been told, “Your descendants shall come from Isaac.”

19 Abraham figured that if God wanted to, he could raise the dead. In a sense, that’s what happened when he received Isaac back, alive from off the altar. MSG

Hebrews 11:24 It was faith that made Moses realize that he was not the son of Pharaoh’s daughter.

25 By faith he preferred to be associated with the affliction of God’s people rather than with the fleeting privileges of Pharaoh’s house, which did not constitute the true 1portion of his inheritance.

26 He was not embarrassed to be associated with the Messianic promise at the expense of the treasures of Egypt. He deliberately looked away from those towards the greater riches of his reward in Christ.  Mirror

Hebrews 11:38 The world did not realize their worth. These faith-heroes were often driven from their homes and forced to live in the deserts and mountains; sleeping like animals in caves and holes in the ground.

1 Corinthians 3:7 If all we succeeded to do was to attach you to us as individuals, then we have failed you; the one who plants is not more important than the one who waters; it is not about us, it is about you realizing God’s work within you.

8 Our individual assignment does not place the one above the other; we have exactly the same mission; how we succeed or fail in that is to our own account.

9 We are co-employed by God. You are God’s agricultural field; or in another context, you are his building and he is the architect and engineer of the life of your design.

10 His grace is the only reference for my skill; his gift qualifies me. The faith foundation that I have laid in your lives gives evidence to that. So let the next person take extra caution to build consistent with what grace communicates.

HEB 12:1 you see what this means — all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running — and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins.

2 Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed — that exhilarating finish in and with God — he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God.

3 When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

4 In this all-out match against sin, others have suffered far worse than you, to say nothing of what Jesus went through — all that bloodshed! 5 So don’t feel sorry for yourselves. Or have you forgotten how good parents treat children, and that God regards you as his children?  MSG

Acts 4:10 I’ll be completely frank with you — we have nothing to hide. By the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the One you killed on a cross, the One God raised from the dead, by means of his name this man stands before you healthy and whole.

Acts 4:16 “What can we do with these men? By now it’s known all over town that a miracle has occurred, and that they are behind it. There is no way we can refute that.

17 But so that it doesn’t go any further, let’s silence them with threats so they won’t dare to use Jesus’ name ever again with anyone.”

18 They called them back and warned them that they were on no account ever again to speak or teach in the name of Jesus.

19 But Peter and John spoke right back, “Whether it’s right in God’s eyes to listen to you rather than to God, you decide.

20 As for us, there’s no question — we can’t keep quiet about what we’ve seen and heard.”

21 The religious leaders renewed their threats, but then released them. They couldn’t come up with a charge that would stick, that would keep them in jail. The people wouldn’t have stood for it — they were all praising God over what had happened.  MSG

Gen 5:21 When Enoch was sixty-five years old, he had Methuselah.

24 Enoch walked steadily with God. And then one day he was simply gone: God took him.  MSG

Heb 11:5 By an act of faith, Enoch skipped death completely. “They looked all over and couldn’t find him because God had taken him.” We know on the basis of reliable testimony that before he was taken “he pleased God.”

6 It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him.  MSG

HEB 11:5 Enoch enjoyed God’s favor by faith, in spite of Adam’s fall; he proved that faith defeats death.

THE MIRACLE OF FORGIVENESS 11-24-23

THE MIRACLE OF FORGIVNESS 11-24-23  VIDEO HEIDI ON RAPE 2

Jesus was known for drawing a crowd.  So many would come to be healed. Jesus also had a knack for doing the unexpected things. Jesus would forgive their sins. This was a greater miracle then physical healing. God says yes I am the one the only one who completely erase is your sins never to be seen again. I will not remember them again. How does God so divine wipe something from his memory? Forgiveness is a Miracle When God forgives He alters the recollection of our history. He sees us in light of Jesus. He sees us perfect. The church today is very passionate to see miracles. One of the greatest miracles we can demonstrate is the forgiveness of sin. Forgiveness of sin has begun to extend to the whole world.  As a result of sins, death came into the world. As a result of forgiveness LIFE is here to stay.

Mark 2:3 They brought a paraplegic to him, carried by four men.

4 When they weren’t able to get in because of the crowd, they removed part of the roof and lowered the paraplegic on his stretcher.

5 Impressed by their bold belief, Jesus said to the paraplegic, “Son, I forgive your sins.”

6 Some religion scholars sitting there started whispering among themselves,

7 “He can’t talk that way! That’s blasphemy! God and only God can forgive sins.”

8 Jesus knew right away what they were thinking, and said, “Why are you so skeptical?

9 Which is simpler: to say to the paraplegic, ‘I forgive your sins,’ or say, ‘Get up, take your stretcher, and start walking’?

10 Well, just so it’s clear that I’m the Son of Man and authorized to do either, or both . . .” (he looked now at the paraplegic),

11 “Get up. Pick up your stretcher and go home.”   MSG

Ps 103:11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great are His mercy and loving-kindness toward those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him.

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.  AMP

▼▼▼

Psalms 103:11-13 Higher than the highest heavens— that’s how high your tender mercy extends! Greater than the grandeur of heaven above is the greatness of your loyal love, towering over all who fear you and bow down before you! Farther than from a sunrise to a sunset— that’s how far you’ve removed our guilt from us.   TPT

Ps 103:1 BLESS (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name!

2 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits —

3 Who heals [each one of] all your diseases,

4 Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy;  AMP

LUKE 7:44 He then turned to the woman and said to Simon, “While you are both equally debt free and neither of you are under any obligation, look at her, consider how much affection and love she bestows on me! When I arrived at your house, no water was given me for my feet; but this lady washed my feet with her tears and dried them with her hair.

45 You didn’t greet me with a kiss, but since I arrived, she hasn’t stopped kissing my feet with affection!

46 You did not even anoint my head with oil, but she anointed my feet with fragrant ointment!

47 Do you now see what grace means? However much out of sync with her blueprint she was and however many her distortions were, she had been perfectly freed of all! To be forgiven means that whatever your sins were, they no longer define you! They were and never can be who you really are! She arrived here earlier, purposefully prepared with an alabaster flask of very expensive perfume, to show how extravagantly much she loved me! He who does not understand the full extent of forgiveness, is like the man who shows only polite appreciation.

48 He then assured her, “You are completely forgiven!” MIRROR

John 20:22 Then he took a deep breath and breathed into them. “Receive the Holy Spirit,” he said.

1 John 2:1 I write this, dear children, to guide you out of sin. But if anyone does sin, we have a Priest-Friend in the presence of the Father: Jesus Christ, righteous Jesus.

LUKE 11:2 He said, whenever you pray, say, Father! Your Name is to be celebrated as holy by all creation! Your kingdom is present!

3 Sustain us daily with the gift of the prophetic bread that was to come!

4 Oh, that your forgiveness of our sins may be fully realized! So, everyone indebted to us may also know that we have released them from their obligations to us! Father, you know us inside-out! Free us thoroughly from any hidden alliance with the old system of performance-based living!   MIRROR

EPH 1:7 Since we are [fully represented] in him, his blood is the ransom that secures our redemption. His forgiving our sins measures the wealth of his grace.

8 This grace shown towards us communicates a wisdom and discernment of our worth that completely surpasses any definition.

9 The secret is out! His cherished love dream now unfolds in front of our very eyes.

10 In the economy of the fullness of time, everything culminates in Christ. All that is in heaven and all that is on earth is reconciled in him. Jesus is the consummation of the ages!  MIRROR

COL 1:14 In God’s mind mankind is associated in Christ; in his blood sacrifice we were ransomed; our redemption was secured; our sins were completely done away with.  MIRROR

HEB 10:18  Sins were dealt with in such a thorough manner that the idea of future offerings would never again be considered. Nothing that we can personally sacrifice could add any virtue to our innocence.

Acts 13:38 I want you to know, my very dear friends, that it is on account of this resurrected Jesus that the forgiveness of your sins can be promised.

Matt 18:21 At that point Peter got up the nerve to ask, “Master, how many times do I forgive a brother or sister who hurts me? Seven?”

LUKE 17:3 And if you see him going the wrong direction, cry out and correct him. If there is true repentance on his part, forgive him.

4 No matter how many times in one day your brother sins against you and says, ‘I’m sorry; I am changing; forgive me,’ you need to forgive him each and every time.”  TPT

Rom 5:12 Therefore, as sin came into the world through one man, and death as the result of sin, so death spread to all men, [no one being able to stop it or to escape its power] because all men sinned.

13 [To be sure] sin was in the world before ever the Law was given, but sin is not charged to men’s account where there is no law [to transgress]. AMP

ROM 5:15 Now, there is no comparison between Adam’s transgression and the gracious gift that we experience. For the magnitude of the gift far outweighs the crime . It’s true that many died because of one man’s transgression, but how much greater will God’s grace and his gracious gift of acceptance overflow to many because of what one man, Jesus, the Messiah, did for us!

16 And this free-flowing gift imparts to us much more than what was given to us through the one who sinned. For because of one transgression, we are all facing a death sentence with a verdict of “Guilty!” But this gracious gift leaves us free from our many failures and brings us into the perfect righteousness of God—acquitted with the words “Not guilty!”

17 Death once held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one man, death reigned as king over humanity. But now, how much more are we held in the grip of grace and continue reigning as kings in life, enjoying our regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousness in the one and only Jesus, the Messiah!

18 In other words, just as condemnation came upon all people through one transgression, so through one righteous act of Jesus’ sacrifice , the perfect righteousness that makes us right with God and leads us to a victorious life is now available to all.  TPT

Rom 6:17 But thank God, though you were once slaves of sin, you have become obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed. AMP

LUKE 4:14 Then Jesus, armed with the Holy Spirit’s power, returned to Galilee, and his fame spread throughout the region. He taught in the synagogues and they glorified him. When he came to Nazareth, where he had grown up, he went into the synagogue, as he always did on the Sabbath. When Jesus came to the front to read the Scriptures, he was handed the scroll of the prophet Isaiah. He unrolled the scroll and found where it is written, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope for the poor, healing for the brokenhearted, and new eyes for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, ‘You are set free!’ I have come to share the message of Jubilee, for the time of God’s great acceptance has begun.” After he read this he rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the attendant, and sat down. Everyone stared at Jesus, wondering what he was about to say. Then he added, “Today, these Scriptures came true in front of you.” TPT

1 JOHN 1:9 Our conversation takes on a brand new dynamic when we take sides with what God believes about us! So, instead of telling God about the detail of your sin, you remind yourself about the detail of your redemption. God doesn’t need the information, you do! God’s faithfulness and righteousness is the basis of our forgiveness and cleansing from every distortion. Jesus removed every bit of condemning evidence against us!  MIRROR

Luke 23:33 When they got to the place called Skull Hill, they crucified him, along with the criminals, one on his right, the other on his left.

SPIRITUAL HUNGER 11-19-23

SPIRITUAL HUNGER 11-19-23  VIDEO HUNGER BY JESSIE DUPLANTIS 2

Hunger is a driving force in all living things. Animals, plants, but especially human beings.  We are getting ready for Thanksgiving. A time to be thankful but also a time of feasting. After eating on Thanksgiving day, we will feel satisfied. But spiritual hunger is different. It affects every part of our spirit. Our innermost being is deep within us. It is  the location where most of your spiritual hunger is released. Spiritual hunger is when you yearn for more of the Lord longing for a deeper relationship. Hunger for more thirsty for more. We were invited to feast, but sometimes we let other things get in the way.  Let us open our hearts wide, and God will satisfy us. We hunger and thirst for God more than anything else in the world.

PURPOSE 11-17-23  VIDEO PURPOSE SPOKEN WORD 2

Sometimes we lose sight of our purposes. Why are we here? The pressure of daily life can make us forget the call that we have on our lives. God has shaped and destined us to play unique roles in each step of our lives.

ROM 8:28 Meanwhile we know that the love of God causes everything to mutually contribute to our advantage. His Master Plan is announced in our original identity.

29  He pre-designed and engineered us from the start to be jointly fashioned in the same mold and image of his Son according to the exact blueprint of his thought. We see the original and intended pattern of our lives preserved in his Son. He is the firstborn from the same womb that reveals our genesis. He confirms that we are the invention of God.

30 Jesus reveals that we pre-existed in God; he defined us. He rendered us innocent and also adorned us with splendor and esteem.   MIRROR

▼▼▼

Rom 8:28 That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.

29 God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity he restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in him.

30 After God made that decision of what his children should be like, he followed it up by calling people by name. After he called them by name, he set them on a solid basis with himself. And then, after getting them established, he stayed with them to the end, gloriously completing what he had begun. MSG

 ▼▼▼

Romans 8:28 So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.

29  For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like him.

30 Having determined our destiny ahead of time, he called us to himself and transferred his perfect righteousness to everyone he called. And those who possess his perfect righteousness he co-glorified with his Son!  TPT

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ! So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.

10 For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ! So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving. We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it! TPT

Phil 3:8 Yes, all the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my Master, firsthand, everything I once thought I had going for me is insignificant — dog dung. I’ve dumped it all in the trash so that I could embrace Christ

9 and be embraced by him. I didn’t want some petty, inferior brand of righteousness that comes from keeping a list of rules when I could get the robust kind that comes from trusting Christ — God’s righteousness.

10 I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself.

11 If there was any way to get in on the resurrection from the dead, I wanted to do it.

Focused on the Goal

12 I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me.

13 Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward — to Jesus.

THE POWER OF BAPTISM 11-3-23

THE POWER OF BAPTISM 11-3-23  VIDEO BAPTISM IN US HISTORY 2

Baptism is Gods gift to us. It allows us the way to walk in newness of life. We also receive power from on high to move on in our destiny.

1 Cor 12:13  By means of his one Spirit, we all said good-bye to our partial and piecemeal lives. We each used to independently call our own shots, but then we entered into a large and integrated life in which he has the final say in everything. (This is what we proclaimed in word and action when we were baptized.) Each of us is now a part of his resurrection body, refreshed and sustained at one fountain — his Spirit — where we all come to drink. The old labels we once used to identify ourselves — labels like Jew or Greek, slave or free — are no longer useful. We need something larger, more comprehensive. MSG

EPH 4:5 There is only one legitimate Lordship; one faith and one baptism; we are all immersed in the same oneness!  MIRROR

Mark 1:4 John the Baptizer appeared in the wild, preaching a baptism of life-change that leads to forgiveness of sins.

5 People thronged to him from Judea and Jerusalem and, as they confessed their sins, were baptized by him in the Jordan River into a changed life.

6 John wore a camel-hair habit, tied at the waist with a leather belt. He ate locusts and wild field honey.

7 As he preached he said, “The real action comes next: The star in this drama, to whom I’m a mere stagehand, will change your life.

8 I’m baptizing you here in the river, turning your old life in for a kingdom life. His baptism — a holy baptism by the Holy Spirit — will change you from the inside out.”

9 At this time, Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

10 The moment he came out of the water, he saw the sky split open and God’s Spirit, looking like a dove, come down on him.

11 Along with the Spirit, a voice: “You are my Son, chosen and marked by my love, pride of my life.”  MSG

Matt 3:11  “I’m baptizing you here in the river, turning your old life in for a kingdom life. The real action comes next: The main character in this drama — compared to him I’m a mere stagehand — will ignite the kingdom life within you, a fire within you, the Holy Spirit within you, changing you from the inside out.   MSG

Acts 19:3 And he asked, Into what [baptism] then were you baptized? They said, Into John’s baptism.

4 And Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, continually telling the people that they should believe in the One Who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus [having a conviction full of joyful trust that He is Christ, the Messiah, and being obedient to Him].  AMP

▼▼▼

Acts 19:3 “How were you baptized, then?” asked Paul. “In John’s baptism.”

4 “That explains it,” said Paul. “John preached a baptism of radical life-change so that people would be ready to receive the One coming after him, who turned out to be Jesus. If you’ve been baptized in John’s baptism, you’re ready now for the real thing, for Jesus.”   MSG

Romans 6:3 Or have you forgotten that all of us who were immersed into union with Jesus, the Anointed One, were immersed into union with his death?

4Sharing in his death by our baptism means that we were co-buried with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him. We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to walk in the freshness of new life. TPT

▼▼▼

ROM 6:3 What are we saying then in baptism, if we are not declaring that we understand our union with Christ in his death?

4 Baptism pictures how we were co-buried together with Christ in his death; then it powerfully illustrates how in God’s mind we were co-raised with Christ into a new lifestyle.  MIRROR

COL 2:11 You were in Christ when he died; which means that his death is your true circumcision. This is not hypothetical; this is the real deal. Thus, sin’s authority in the human body was stripped of its control over you.

12 In the same parallel [your co-circumcision in his death], your co-burial and joint-resurrection is now demonstrated in baptism; your co-inclusion in Christ is what God’s faith knew when he powerfully raised him from the dead.  MIRROR

▼▼▼

Col 2:11 Entering into this fullness is not something you figure out or achieve. It’s not a matter of being circumcised or keeping a long list of laws. No, you’re already in — insiders — not through some secretive initiation rite but rather through what Christ has already gone through for you, destroying the power of sin.

12 If it’s an initiation ritual you’re after, you’ve already been through it by submitting to baptism. Going under the water was a burial of your old life; coming up out of it was a resurrection, God raising you from the dead as he did Christ. MSG

1 PET 3:20 Because of their disobedience of long ago. For during the time of Noah God patiently waited while the ark was being prepared, but only a few were brought safely through the floodwaters: a total of eight souls.

21 This was a prophetic picture of the immersion that now saves you—not a bathing of the physical body but rather the response of a good conscience before God through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,  TPT

▼▼▼

1 Peter 3:20  because they wouldn’t listen. You know, even though God waited patiently all the days that Noah built his ship, only a few were saved then, eight to be exact — saved from the water by the water.

21 The waters of baptism do that for you, not by washing away dirt from your skin but by presenting you through Jesus’ resurrection before God with a clear conscience.  MSG

▼▼▼

1 Peter 3:20-21 the days of God’s great patience during the period of the building of the ark, in which eventually only eight souls were saved in the flood. And I cannot help pointing out what a perfect illustration this is of the way you have been admitted to the safety of the Christian “ark” by baptism, which means, of course, far more than the mere washing of a dirty body: it means the ability to face God with a clear conscience. For there is in every true baptism the virtue of Christ’s rising from the dead. And he has now entered Heaven and is at God’s right hand, with all angels, authorities and powers subservient to him. PHILLIPS

1 John 5:6  Jesus — the Divine Christ! He experienced a life-giving birth and a death-killing death. Not only birth from the womb, but baptismal birth of his ministry and sacrificial death. And all the while the Spirit is confirming the truth, the reality of God’s presence at Jesus’ baptism and crucifixion, bringing those occasions alive for us.

LUKE 12: 49 I have come to set the world on fire and how I wish that it were already kindled!

50 I have a baptism to be baptized with; and oh, how intensely I anticipate it’s mirror-resonance to be fully realized!  MIRROR

Acts 1:5 For John baptized with water, but not many days from now you shall be baptized with (placed in, introduced into) the Holy Spirit.  AMP

Acts 2:2 Without warning there was a sound like a strong wind, gale force — no one could tell where it came from. It filled the whole building.

3 Then, like a wildfire, the Holy Spirit spread through their ranks,

4 and they started speaking in a number of different languages as the Spirit prompted them.  MSG

Acts 2:2 Suddenly they heard the sound of a violent blast of wind rushing into the house from out of the heavenly realm. The roar of the wind was so overpowering it was all anyone could bear!

3Then all at once a pillar of fire appeared before their eyes. It separated into tongues of fire that engulfed each one of them.

4They were all filled and equipped with the Holy Spirit and were inspired to speak in tongues—empowered by the Spirit to speak in languages they had never learned!  TPT

1 Cor 10:1  0 Remember our history, friends, and be warned. All our ancestors were led by the providential Cloud and taken miraculously through the Sea.

2 They went through the waters, in a baptism like ours, as Moses led them from enslaving death to salvation life. MSG

1 Cor 10:1 For I should like to remind you, my brothers, that our ancestors all had the experience of being guided by the cloud in the desert and of crossing the sea dry-shod. They were all, so to speak, “baptised” into Moses by these experiences. They all shared the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink (for they drank from the spiritual rock which followed them, and that rock was Christ). PHILLIPS

Gal 3:27 Your baptism in Christ was not just washing you up for a fresh start. It also involved dressing you in an adult faith wardrobe — Christ’s life, the fulfillment of God’s original promise.   MSG

John 7:38 He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.

39 But He was speaking here of the Spirit, Whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him were afterward to receive. For the [Holy] Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honor).  AMP

JOHN 7:38 In your realizing that I am what the Scriptures are all about, you will discover uniquely for yourself, face to face with me, that you are what I am all about and rivers of living waters will gush out of your innermost being!

39 Jesus spoke about the Spirit whom those who would believe that he is the conclusion of Scripture were about to grasp since who Jesus was in all of his majestic splendor was not yet fully acknowledged and thus the Spirit was not yet evident. MIRROR
